“Excellent food the meat was exceptionally seasoned and very tender I would rank there barbecue top notch I was truly impressed with the amazing flaver. the cracked pepper to season the meat is amazing its so good. im not a fan of the barbecue sauce but to me if the meat is tender seasoned well ya don't even need sauce this team has skills. The prices are fair and the food was arranged in the to go container so neat they took pride they were professional,kind we will be repeat customers“

Well i ordered the 3 meat 3 side platter, got the burnt ends, brisket and ribs with beans, slaw and jazzy fries. Only thing I didnt really like was the slaw but everything else hands down was AMAZING!!!! The burnt ends just melt in your mouth, that jazzy sauce is addictive and they have a really good honey mustard as well. Also got the friend mushrooms, they use portobello mushrooms and they are a 10 out of 10 with the in house made ranch...... I will be going back, and it has me wanting this place over Jack stack and I grew up on Jack stack.“

“Found myself in Grandview working a service call on an extremely cold Saturday morning. After I got that furnace fixed I found this awesome spot for BBQ! Highly recommend making the time to stop in, ribs were perfect tender, pulled pork was delicious and not smothered in sauce, I love the beans again flavor of the ingredients not over powered by sauce. 💯“

Lindsay Shannon was the best!!New ownership and patio renovations wanted to go back to check it out. 3 headed out for lunch on a Thursday. WOW. 2 of us had The Daily Special Texas Sweet (Pulled Pork, Scimecas Italian Sausage, Onion Straws piked high on huge bun. 1 SIDE. I had some green beans son had some of the huge famous beer battered potato wedges. Hot, fresh, tasty for $11.99. Both of us took decent amount home as well. Been too long and we'll be headed back soon. Staff was amazing and accomodating!! Do yourself a favor and check out this longtime BBQ staple. Hat Tipped BB's...“

“I had low expectations for this joint as it was recommended to me by a co-worker with pretty bad taste. I tried it anyways and boy was I surprised. This was the best pulled pork I've had and I've lived in KC long enough to try most all of the BBQ.

“We arrived at LC’s at 820 pm while traveling through on 435 and these portions are huge I had the burnt end beef tips huge portion! My husband had the beef bbq sandwich again huge double decker sandwich. Our daughter had the turkey bbq sandwich. We also had fries coleslaw and fried mushrooms. Needless to say we had a second meal in leftovers. Very friendly staff even while they were busy remained positive and engaged with the customers. First time Kansas City BBQ we are happy we ended up at LC’s!“

“I just ate this today on a cold, bluster day. I had a burnt end sandwich and it was very delicious. The service is outstanding. Very professional and kind. The servers check on you throughout to make sure you have everything you need. The server said to me have a Merry Christmas when we left. Some that restaurants rarely mention today. HOWEVER, this past Saturday, when we arrived, there was no host/ess, just a sign to seat ourselves. The bar was packed but there was one table for four available so we didn't have a problem. “I love this restaurant! The lounge was not available at the connected hotel for renovation purposes so they gave me some free appetizer coupons. The bartenders were amazing and my order came out pretty fast. The chicken wings were so good! There was other things on the menu I wanted to try, but I was so full I could not. They also had a really good Cabernet. I forget what it was called or which one it is I really wish I’d wrote it down because I had never heard of this one before. Is a typical bar at night. And then it’s also where they serve breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was great as well and the service was good in the morning as well! I had an omelette in the morning that was yummy! I’ll definitely come back when in town again!“
