The prices are fair and the food was arranged in the to go container so neat they took pride they were professional,kind we will be repeat customers“

“I have to say 100 out of 10 starts!!!!! A friend asked me if ive ever been, said never heard of this place. Well i ordered the 3 meat 3 side platter, got the burnt ends, brisket and ribs with beans, slaw and jazzy fries. Only thing I didnt really like was the slaw but everything else hands down was AMAZING!!!! The burnt ends just melt in your mouth, that jazzy sauce is addictive and they have a really good honey mustard as well. Also got the friend mushrooms, they use portobello mushrooms and they are a 10 out of 10 with the in house made ranch...... I will be going back, and it has me wanting this place over Jack stack and I grew up on Jack stack.“

“Filling Station BBQ is hands down the best BBQ around, and I mean that. The meat is always cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The sauce is unreal and honestly might be my favorite part. It just hits every time. The sides are just as good as the meat, which says a lot because most places treat sides like an afterthought. Not here. Everything on the plate is solid. I also love the old school Filling Station vibe. The location is great and the whole place has a cool, laid-back feel that makes you want to hang out. The owners are professional and genuinely good people, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they’re doing.“

Tyler found a table in the bar for our party of 3 and Scott gave us exemplary service. We ended the fabulous meal with crème brûlée and brownie with ice cream! The complete meal was on point. Almost forgot-definitely try the cucumber jalapeño margarita!“

“We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, wings in their sweet & spicy BBQ sauce, brisket sandwich, and beans. Burger was delicious, nice and smoky. Fries were also really good, well seasoned. Wings are made to order and nice and crispy even though they're covered in sauce. Brisket sandwich was very good, just needed a pinch of salt. Beans were delicious, especially when dipping the fries in them.

Service was polite and excellent. I had several questions and she answered them all with a smile. After paying, she told me 14 minutes until my order was ready. I noted the time and went to my car to wait on my order. At the 13 minute mark, they were signaling me that my order was ready.

I don't consider this a drawback, but just a heads up; they're located outside a gas station. It actually worked out perfectly for me, as I needed to grab an energy drink for the next day.

I'll definitely be back, as they're close to my house and local. Highly recommended.“

Lindsay Shannon was the best!!New ownership and patio renovations wanted to go back to check it out. 3 headed out for lunch on a Thursday. WOW. 2 of us had The Daily Special Texas Sweet (Pulled Pork, Scimecas Italian Sausage, Onion Straws piked high on huge bun. 1 SIDE. I had some green beans son had some of the huge famous beer battered potato wedges. Hot, fresh, tasty for $11.99. Both of us took decent amount home as well. “I had low expectations for this joint as it was recommended to me by a co-worker with pretty bad taste. I tried it anyways and boy was I surprised. This was the best pulled pork I've had and I've lived in KC long enough to try most all of the BBQ.

“We arrived at LC’s at 820 pm while traveling through on 435 and these portions are huge I had the burnt end beef tips huge portion! My husband had the beef bbq sandwich again huge double decker sandwich. Our daughter had the turkey bbq sandwich. We also had fries coleslaw and fried mushrooms. Needless to say we had a second meal in leftovers. Very friendly staff even while they were busy remained positive and engaged with the customers. “I just ate this today on a cold, bluster day. I had a burnt end sandwich and it was very delicious. The service is outstanding. Very professional and kind. The servers check on you throughout to make sure you have everything you need. The server said to me have a Merry Christmas when we left. Some that restaurants rarely mention today. “We always enjoy visiting Bar Central before theater performances at the Music Hall, and appreciate being able to make a reservation. HOWEVER, this past Saturday, when we arrived, there was no host/ess, just a sign to seat ourselves. The bar was packed but there was one table for four available so we didn't have a problem. “I love this restaurant! The lounge was not available at the connected hotel for renovation purposes so they gave me some free appetizer coupons. The bartenders were amazing and my order came out pretty fast. The chicken wings were so good! There was other things on the menu I wanted to try, but I was so full I could not. They also had a really good Cabernet. I forget what it was called or which one it is I really wish I’d wrote it down because I had never heard of this one before. Is a typical bar at night. And then it’s also where they serve breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was great as well and the service was good in the morning as well! I had an omelette in the morning that was yummy! I’ll definitely come back when in town again!“
