“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“This place is so, so cool. My cousin took me out for dinner and I had never even heard of this spot. Wow, it’s such a beautiful and moody spot full of charm!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a booth but I didn’t mind because this place serves LOOKS. The decor was awesome! Everything from the stellar service, crispy and lacey smash burgers and gorgeous dining room(s) made me realize why this spot is always recommended to me. We were very happy with our food and it was under $50 for two people! Check out Golden Hoosier, you won’t regret it.“

“Stew's has become our regular date night spot once a week. We look forward to the salmon, the mushrooms, the fried rice and for now the tuna - hoping for a return of the scallop ceviche! We love the inside even when it can be a little bit loud and we love the outside (our preference) in good weather. Service is always top level and attentive and I love to get my Blanton's old-fashioned made here. Occasionally the wait can be long but for us it's always been worth it even when it's been 30° outside! You can consider us die hard fans. I truly enjoy the lgbtq+/ all-inclusive atmosphere they provide. The music is always top notch, the staff is extremely friendly and quick to serve! They also have a super cute patio and open-air garage area, giving patrons a variety of areas to hang, dance or socialize. They also host some really unique, fun and exciting events that Ive thoroughly enjoyed attending or vending with my business. This Bar is definitely a hidden GEM in St. Louis!“

“I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“I love that there's a total dive bar in uptight, old money Clayton. Staff is down to earth, the patrons don't get too drunk. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you're in Clayton and want a drink without worrying about who is listening to your conversation, this is the place to go.“

“We've been here a few times and it's been consistently excellent on all fronts. Maybe the most European vibe of any spot in STL. I prefer branzino (and most fish) grilled whole, but the butterflied version they serve is still outstanding and a better fit for St. Louis tastes (I love STL, but for some reason many folks even struggle with bone-in chicken here). This time I had Vincenzu's Sicilian sausage (complete with Sicilian spelling of his name!), which was excellent. They also had a wonderful Sicilian white wine (nerello mascalese, never saw it in the US). I don't we've ever encountered a misfire. Oh, and the host is very charming and helpful!“

Marie was mine and my sisters bartender and she was so sweet and attentive. Absolutely love her! 10/10 definitely recommend. The wings are delicious and I love playing darts in the front room. “Everything about Robin was above expectations! Traveled in from Chicago, and before I arrived to St Louis, the team was able to help me secure a reservation. Upon arriving to Robin, the dining experience and service was impeccable. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was perfection and truly allowed for a beautiful dining experience. Tables are well spaced, and the noise level that typically generates from other diners was basically non-existant. Drinks were top-notch, and whoever curated the drink menu should also get high praise. We ordered the snacks and bread to go along with the tasting menu. The snack bites started the food journey on the right food. My dining partner and I bother ordered the bread, and we probably could have gotten away with just one order. Every dish that we ordered from the tasting menu qas perfection. Standouts were the venison tartar, trout, chicken and short rib. It wss fantastic to also watch Chef Alec prepare each and every dish thst went out. The entire team was exceptional, and worked harmoniously like a beautiful choreographed ballet.
