“You have to get in sooooo fast to get any bread, and as a non morning person, this rarely happens for me, but their bread is so delicious if you can score a loaf! I also love their salad. I've tried to get their sandwiches but they're always out of everything I want to order so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. It is very very loud and busy in there, so I usually do takeout if I order anything.“

“My wife and I went to Nixta last light for her birthday. We cannot say enough rave reviews! The atmosphere was romantic, chic and cozy. The food was EXCELLENT considering that I normally do not like Mexican food. The fish tacos and chicken tacos were superb. The tortilla chips were so good and the flan was the topping to a great night.“

“Service was excellent, gentleman at the bar was very knowledgeable and friendly. food came super fast, we both got their signature breakfast sandwich wich was delish however for $13 i was shocked it was on regular bread. looked very basic for the price. i also felt like their drinks came in the smallest size cups for adults you had to get two maybe even 3 to make it through your meal and the refills arent free. overall, it was a good experience glad we went.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“Bartolinos South is our favorite nice restaurant. Not only is the food consistently wonderful but they always work to please you. We celebrate all special occasions there. Recently we reserved their front room which holds a max of 16, I believe. They went out of their way to make the setting perfect (even bringing in a small table for our use). Our waiter, Karen, was discreet in providing us perfect service without interrupting our shared conversation/memories as we were toasting a dear friend on her birthday. I can’t say enough about how flawless they made our luncheon. Bartolinos will remain our favorite not only for the quality of the food but for their personal attention.“

“We had a table reserved and arrived a few minutes early. The place was packed but they immediately seated us and were very attentive. We were quickly waited on, drinks showed up, order taken and food was on our table very timely. Friendly staff, excellent food and great prices. We could not have had a better experience. “Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say that The Energy Hub is an great juice bar with phenomenal energy. The service is their greatest aspect; the guy behind the counter was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming.

The smoothie was really good and felt like I was doing something good for my body. You can customize the smoothie however you want with no up charge for however many different fruits you want in it.

Highly recommend stopping by at least once. You’ll be surprised how The Energy Hub lives up to its name by recharging you and leaving you feeling just a little bit lighter and brighter.“

“We love this place! Our favorite is the Texas BBQ Massacre! Absolutely delicious! The decore and atmosphere are spot on! Seeing a little tabletop standee of BrainScan was such a throwback! Everytime we come to St. Louis it is an obvious stop for us. My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. “5 Stars – The Chicken Was So Good I Got Emotional We came here to celebrate our 1-year anniversary, and I left wondering if I should write a thank-you letter to the chef. First off, let’s talk about that chicken—hands down, the softest, most moist chicken breast I’ve ever had in my life. Like, I had a moment. It was that good. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth tender—I almost forgot it was poultry and not a warm hug in meat form. The shiitake mushrooms on the side were also on point. Rich, savory, and full of that earthy goodness that made me feel like I was leveling up my taste buds in real time. Then we got hit with dessert. Floating Island. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I got was pure magic—a fluffy cloud of sweetness with crème anglaise that made my eyes roll back like I just hit a flavor jackpot. And to top it all off—they surprised us with a free dessert when they found out it was our anniversary. That little gesture made the whole night even more special (and delicious). Brasserie by Niche didn’t just feed us. They fed our hearts, our relationship, and our future expectations of all restaurants everywhere. Good luck to the next place we go. You’ve been warned.“

“It was really good food and we were happy with it. Came for downtown restaurant week and tried a special. Only gripe was that we asked for one order of dumplings so we were confused when they came out with 3 for some reason. The server was nice but the order wasn’t read back to us so we weren’t aware of any misunderstanding. It tacked on an extra unexpected $20+ to the bill, which put a little damper on things, but I guess we had the chance to say something and just let it go. It’s a little frustrating but overall things were fine.“

“I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. “Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.“

“I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

Great craft beer and perfect pub food & comfort food served in a German brew house style space. Fantastic outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to South City.“

“Our wedding in February 2024 was a dream come true! Grbic helped make our day absolutely perfect. Leija was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and quick to respond to all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!“

“This was such a nice quiet place tucked away. The meal pictured was just 1 meal we split in half between the two of us. So it's safe to say they don't skimp on the portions. Our wait staff was very friendly and quick with our service. Would very much recommend this for those looking for a smaller town/mom and pop type atmosphere.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.“
