I sampled the jerk chicken wings and the fish stew which were both yummy. Yesterday we went back and got the chicken patty and loved it. I had never had oxtail so I asked Fitzroy If I could have a little taste to see if I liked it. Well I now love oxtail so that’s what I ordered. Absolutely blown away by the deliciousness of this food… Made delicious by the love that goes into it and all of the creativity and spices. We met Ricardo yesterday who is another very special individual. If you’re looking for a new place to go where the food is infused with all sorts of delightful things I would highly recommend going to visit Fitzroy and Ricardo. They are two of the nicest guys and so very humble.”

The person working the counter was so sweet and informative, let us try out samples of some amazing cold pressed juices and talked to us about the intentionality behind every blend. The owners CARE. And it shows- their whole staff was happy and working together well. As a former service industry person- the places I like to give my money HAVE TO treat their employees well too 👏👏 They get hundreds of pounds of local and SEASONAL produce every day and make all products on the premises. There are no additives, preservatives, and when fast food cost as much as the grocery store these days, the price for our lunch was really amazing! I had The Defender smoothie- a really beautiful dark berry color that reminded me of Polk Berry stems- and it had black berries, elderberry, ginger and a few other ingredients- with NO added sugar. The everything bagel with the house made honey nut cream cheese, and my boyfriend had the PRETTIEST Sunset fruit bowl we’ve ever seen and the four berry smoothie. Everything was so tasty! I couldn’t even find a sample I was disappointed with. I’m excited to try them all now! Definitely a new favorite spot. I haven’t felt this good after a lunch in a long time. I have a weakness for Lavendar- I adore it. So naturally I had to grab the LAST bottle in the fridge of their Moon Mylk- the picture does not do this gorgeous color justice. If you are in Salisbury and are looking for a clean and tasty lunch that won’t make you feel Terrible- we recommend Juice Life! “I walked in on a Friday evening, 6ish. There were empty tables but the maitre d
asked if I had a reservation. I took a seat at the bar. The initial service was kind of slow but once I ordered my food was ready very quickly. I had the Hemingway Chicken, yellow rice and moros, paired with the grapefruit lager it was excellent ??. I will return to try something else on the menu.”

We were immediately greeted with warmth and helpful suggestions from a kind staff member, as we were Turkish food newbies. The chicken was the best I'd ever eaten! -- kebab chicken: an absolute revelation! Every bite was a flavor explosion. The accompanying sauce, rice, and even the french fries were unexpectedly delicious. The portions were quite generous, and visually appealing. So glad we found this place. Mustafa's has truly converted us into Turkish food enthusiasts!”

“Teatastic is truly a hidden gem!  This quaint little shop offers amazing customer service that goes above and beyond. While I was out of town for work, my 8-year-old daughter earned a DoorDash treat, and she was so excited to get Teatastic. Sadly, we discovered that DoorDash didn’t deliver from Teatastic. @DoorDash, what's up with that?  I promised her a visit when I returned.  That night, we rushed over after dance class. We arrived at 7:05, just after closing, and the doors were locked. My daughter looked at me, disappointed and teary-eyed, and I knelt to hug her. Then, to our surprise, a kind young woman opened the door and invited us in for a drink! Her warmth and generosity absolutely made my daughter’s day and reminded me of the wonderful sense of community here.

Since that experience, we’ve returned multiple times, including during the Halloween Fall Festival, where we enjoyed a fun Witches Brew drink. The staff is consistently fantastic, the shop is spotless, and the drinks are simply delicious.

Teatastic has quickly become one of our favorite spots off Main, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic tea drinks.

They offer an excellent variety of flavors, convenient parking right out front, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved it so much we went twice this week—once with my kids and again with my sister and her family. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the toppings were a fun bonus for the kids. You can enjoy indoor seating or take your treats along for a walk through the charming downtown area.”

“I grew up in Salisbury and lived there well into my adulthood. I live in Columbia, SC now but when I come back to town to visit my Mom, one of my favorite places to eat is at Checkered Flag. They’re food is really good but the hard working ladies who serve the customers is what makes it great. They take the time to talk to every customer at every table and it’s not just chit chat. They really want to know how you are and what they can do for you to make your visit perfect. They treat everyone like family but for those of us who come back again and again, we become family. Even for me, an out of towner, I even know two of the hard working ladies, Angela and Jen. Angela showed her hard working team spirit yesterday when, Jen, our server, was tied up with her other tables. Angela stepped in and took our order until Jen could get back over to us. This example of teamwork becomes contagious and I’m sure that Jen has done the same thing for Angela and all of her co-workers. Jen is such a joy to be around. Her personality oozes charisma and warmth and she makes you feel truly special because that is who she is!! I heartily recommend Checkered Flag for their great food and and their even greater people!! I rate them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 5 hearts!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️”

Their prices are great. And I've never had dry bread just because it was discounted. Although I have had some Bakery items that were slightly dry. But given how much I save, I don't mind. I don't buy my bread from anywhere else. The staff is friendly. I definitely recommend this business.”

“I was recommended this Panderia on Nextdoor and they quickly became a favorite stop. The ladies there are so sweet. My favorite items they have are the marranitos and bread pudding. That bread pudding is apparently famous. Every time I mention this place, people comment on it. They have pie, flan, and tres leches cake too, which I plan to try next time I visit. They're cash only though, so make sure you have cash on you first.”

“Blue taco truck. You can catch them on Friday and Saturday. Best tacos around. There are 3 taco trucks on this street and I've had tacos from all 3. By far these are the best. Both Verde and Roja sauces are amazing. Fantastic meats and great tortillas. I've ate tacos all across this country.
