“Busy spot with quick and easy service. Fun range in cocktails, crab fried rice is delicious and they had pork cheeks (served with thai chili slices and ginger, which was perfect), which is one of my favorite appetizers.

“This is an absolute local experience. It has 3 bar seats and a loud friendly funny guy taking orders. I came here for the congee which was basic but so flavorful and homey. I got the noodles which they are known for and they were outstanding! Chewy, umami and not the prettiest dish. I’ll sacrifice looks for flavor any day! I works say you must be a Sami brave eager to try it but it’s a place I’ll definitely crave in the future!“

“Hands down one of the best spots in Harlem. The Handpulled Noodle never misses — the noodles are fresh, chewy, and made right in front of you. Every bowl feels like a warm hug with serious flavor and spice that hits just right.

The lamb cumin noodles? Unreal. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff keeps things moving with great energy. Whether you dine in or take it to go, it’s always hot, flavorful, and made with care.

“Party of 3 ordered food via DoorDash on a Saturday evening in October. Food arrived in very nice green containers within 30 minutes - we were just a quarter mile away. Two of us shared the beef munchite tripes appetizer and that was really good. Third guy had the flavorful mustard greens and that was done really well too - I enjoyed little bites of it. I had the juicy lamb and it was okayish - too juicy in my opinion, which made the noodles all soggy and the lamb slices were too thin and too few. One person had the spicy chicken and really liked it.“

I originally didn’t have much expectation for a modern Taiwanese restaurant, but the very first dish—the stir-fried pea shoots—was impressive. The lettuce shrimp wraps were also outstanding. The intense wok hei from the high-heat stir-fry was unforgettable. Although it’s a fusion Taiwanese restaurant, Wenwen showcases the essence of Taiwanese cuisine in its own way for non-local guests. It truly deserves a lot of praise.“

The outer layer of the pineapple bun is super buttery and crispy and the the bun itself is soft and fluffy. The pork inside is tender and was sweeter than I expected but it pairs so well with the little saltiness on the pineapple bun crust.
