“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“
“Great vibe. Absolutely LOVE the jazz trio. Food tasted great. Portions are quite small for the price, and the steak was very especially grizzly, unfortunately. Very attentive and well trained staff. Lots of push upselling drinks on the drinks, and they brought bottle water we had to pay for despite asking for tap 3 times. Wonderful wine and cocktails menu. Overall I would recommend for special occasions.“
“Absolutely a must to dine in. Food is amazing the presentation perfect. Waiter and waitress were so helpful and kind. My wife and I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Eggplant appetizer was amazing. The falafel was right on with delicious humus“
“This place is so iconic and famous that I was expecting it to be all hype and not that great.I walked in expecting an average experience but what awaited me was lip smacking fare and great service.Don't forget I was excited though as I'd never eaten soul food before. My waiter Sean helped fix my wobbly table with wads of napkin. I WAS LIKE AH, WOBBLY TABLES HUH....will the food be good....?I ordered mac and cheese, collard greens and smothered chicken. Sean told me 'nah, what you should try is the BBQ short rib'. I said yes you're the expert here.Best food ever or was I just hungry? Dunno, was an excellent meal !!Seeing how much I was enjoying myself. Sean then shouted me an Arnold Palmer, which I did not know off, to round out an excellent first soul food experience.Thank you Sean and thank you Sylvia's.“
“The service was amazing! Our server Jay went above and beyond what was expected. The onion soup was delicious. The perfect amount of cheese and the perfect saltiness. I ordered the 2 course plat. I had the soup and the beef tenderloin and fries. Delicious. The special dessert of the day was their bourbon bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. All I can say is Yum!!“
“This food is hands down 20/10! The customer service was wonderful & they’re super welcoming and friendly. Their Insalata Di Gamberi was perfect! I don’t rave about salads but the shrimp was very flavorful and all the ingredients are FRESH! Their pastas are house made and you can purchase as well. I got the busa pasta with the assorted seafood 20/10! Dessert was tiramisu which is so rich and fresh! Everything is fresh and delicious a REAL GEM I highly recommend & will definitely be back. Franchesca & Juan are great with wonderful energy!Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: Yes“
“Certainly! Here's a more concise version:---For over 10 years, this restaurant has been our family's favorite, thanks to the friendly and professional owners who make everyone feel welcome. The food is always fresh, promising an amazing meal every time. Their wine selection is unmatched, truly the best in New Jersey. It's a rare find that continues to impress us with its consistency and quality.“
“Tucked away out of plain view, the charming interior and beyond exceptional cuisine make this place a 10/10. ROKC exhibits true craft and ownership of the dishes and drinks they put forth and you can tell they love what they do. Their cocktail menu is true artistry, an experience within itself.“
“Without a doubt the best Greek food in the Rockland Bergen area! Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Staff was suoer friendly and professional. We were able to try the baklava which is made on site. Wonderful!! It's also a BYOB.“
“The quality (of the food), atmosphere (elegant and modern), and service of this restaurant are top notch. Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. Will definitely return.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot. There's also paid/unpaid (depending on the day/time) street parking, right in front of the restaurant.“
“Lamb chops very tasty with Lemon Potatoes and Vegetables!!!!! Phenomenal!!!! Appetizers were very fresh . Dessert was incredible, we had the Galaktoboureko for the first time ever!!!! Our waiter was very helpful, didn't have to wait long for our food.10/10“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tra di noi, an authentic Italian gem nestled in the heart of Little Italy. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was transported to the charming streets of Italy, and the culinary experience that followed was nothing short of extraordinary. The Fettuccini Carbonara was a revelation, perfectly al dente pasta coated in a velvety sauce that harmoniously blended eggs, cheese, and pancetta. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The Fried Calamari was a crispy delight, expertly seasoned and paired with a zesty dipping sauce. It showcased the chef's skill in balancing textures and tastes, making it a delightful appetizer that set the stage for the feast to come. The Octopus Salad was a refreshing surprise, featuring tender octopus combined with crisp vegetables and a citrus-infused dressing. The medley of flavors danced on my palate, creating a perfect harmony of the sea and garden. The attentive staff at Tra di noi added to the overall experience, providing excellent service without intruding on the intimate atmosphere. The ambiance was cozy, with an authentic charm that complemented the exquisite cuisine. In conclusion, Tra di noi is a culinary haven for those seeking a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of Little Italy. The Fettuccini Carbonara, Fried Calamari, and Octopus Salad are not just dishes; they are masterpieces that showcase the passion and expertise of the kitchen. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Tra di noi is the place to be. Buonissimo!“
“Hands down, the greatest sea food boil around. I'll drive 30 minutes to Capt loui even though there's several other companies way closer to me. It's just that good. Service, food, cleanliness, the staff... everything is top notch, never once left without being completely satisfied. If I could give more stars I would, 10/10 experience every time ?“
“As a Korean born and raised in Korea and someone who recently moved to NJ, I have been looking for a great mandoo (dumpling) place in NJ and Mannane is like an oasis to me! Their dumplings are top notch in terms of flavor and fresh/cleanliness, and the owners are super kind and amazing. Cheers to Mannane for making my dumpling dream come true!“
“There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didn't like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldn't give the surprise because they didn't do that there. That's what I liked. I'm quite disappointed.“
“Great service, staff, and fresh cuts of meat and vegetables. Price is reasonable and every time we go there we look forward to the next visit. They have fruit slushes too that are great as well. Would recommend the crazy tomato and sukiyaki broth's. Just typing about it is making my mouth water lmao. Big big fan and worth the drive and the visit.“
“The meal was perfectly cooked:FlatbreadSalmon (allergy sensitive)LambFilet & lobsterThe service was exceptional, attending to the allergies of my family and ensuring we were all able to enjoy our meals.Deserts were delicious, and left us wanting a little more, portions were small but perfect.Ambiance is little more upscale than average dining.Dietary restrictions: Chef went above and beyond to ensure allergies were catered to.“
“We had a holiday dinner event..I decided to cater food from Los Amigos due to their reviews...how close it was from work. The food was Dedelicious... we all loved and enjoyed the rice... the chicken..wings... Empandas, everything was just delicious!I place we look forward to going on our lunch break now as well!!Thank you for such delicious food!“
“Went for a date night and was very glad that I made it!! The food came out slowly but that allowed me and my partner to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. We got the market oysters the salmon roe was such a nice addition and added a new and exciting dynamic to typicalOysters. We also got the fried oysters and it was also delicious. Tebasaki Nagoya Miso was flavorful and the chicken was perfectly crisp. The short ribs was so damn tender and was seasoned with a light but perfect hand. We ended with the matcha cheesecake was a light and perfect end to the meal. I would’ve liked the matcha flavor to be a tad bit more noticeable but it was still wonderful. We didn’t byob and only ordered tea for drinks.Mostly I just want to highlight that all that food cost $130 which is fairly decent for two people two apps, a small plate, and two mains.“
“The hash browns were great!the staff friendly. The didn’t do the change in food we asked for, but that happens everywhere sometimes. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict tasted a bit “out of a tub”, but again it tastes like that in most restaurants. Overall we were happy and would come again!“
“Took a hour ride to Jersey just to have a beautiful steak dinner and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and anything the server could have done he ensured he did to make our night amazing. I would definitely be back for the loaded mash and the calamari DELICIOUS !“
“I attended a group dinner here at the end of January. While the food was amazing, I was most appreciative of the service. We were made to feel special and it really helped to elevate the experience. And I haven't stopped thinking about the parmesan cauliflower bites - so good!!!“
“My first time visiting here was amazing Amy the owner & host was so nice & humble & immediately let us know happy hour drinks were 2 for 1 which was amazing, also they had soft shell crab which is usually hard to find, the bartender/server Tolly was amazing as well the drink were so good & strong alot of places water down they drinks but not here, which is most important to me lol. The place is super clean & peaceful I absolutely recommend it & will be coming back. They have happy hour M-F 12-7 ?????“
“Great filet mignon - waiter said it comes with string bean but nothing on the side just steak with truffle sauce. Was a hearty portion and cooked perfectly. Not cheap expect to pay 70+ just for steak but quality was perfect. Wines weren’t that expensive. I’d go back to try their prime rib. In comparison Ruth Chris charges a little less for steak but upsells the wines.“
“We just had a surprise birthday party for my mother’s 60th with about 30 people. The restaurant is small and very “cozy”. Everything from the food to the service was excellent and they went above and beyond in making sure that it was a good night. We did the typical family style and everything came out perfectly. Will definitely be returning for future events and dinners. Thanks again!“
“Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.“
“Attended a end of season party for my sons wrestling team in the party room. There was ample space for all of us, the staff and manager/owner was exceptionally kind, friendly and accomodating. The food was delicious. I would definitely come back with my family for a meal or host an event from this restaurant.Parking: The lot forms a semi circle around the restaurant, there was plenty of parking for all the event guest plus whatever regulars dine there.Kid-friendliness: It was a kid event so there were kids all over the place being kids and having fun. No one reprimanded the children for noise or rambunctiousness. It was alot of fun for the children.“
“It isn’t Texas but definitely a New Jersey establishment serving up Texas BBQ in their cozy indoor/outdoor establishment with some of the nicest staff. The $60 platter is a lot for two people, IMO. Definitely come hungry and with friends and family. The pulled pork and beef were very tasty and good. The Mac and cheese was definitely tasty, they should maybe bake it a bit more to give it a nice crust. The drinks were a bit too strong and on the higher end of value.Service was great. They allowed us to swap out some of the sides. We got fries, corn bread and Mac and cheese for our sides. All tasty.Establishment does have limited onsite parking so get there early and lock in your parking spot. The indoor decor gives off a rustic wooden cabin vibe with fake lanterns. Creative and comfortable.“
“I have been passing by this small restaurant for the past 4 years and wanting to try it out. Finally I went and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the small restaurant, which doesn’t look like much from the outside has amazing Mediterranean Turkish food. I was very impressed. Everything was fresh And delicious. This is definitely gem in the ruff . The restaurant is very welcoming and comfi . It’s a family business, and Adam was very helpful and pleasant as a waiter and he told me that his family owns the business. They take a lot of pride in the food that they serve. Also the price for what I paid for lunch was a great deal I got a Shepherds salad. Chicken kebab with rice, and another grain called Bulgar. they also gave me on the house a Turkish custard, which was very delicious. The lunch also comes with a soda. This is a must try hotspot, especially for lunch. I will definitely be back to eat the delicious Turkish food.“
“Crab Island exceeded all expectations with their delightful Cajun seafood offerings and exceptional service. Despite high anticipation, every dish surpassed our hopes, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us to the heart of Cajun cuisine. The friendly staff added to the warmth of the experience, offering knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring our every need was met with a smile. From the perfectly seasoned boils to the succulent grilled seafood, every bite was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. Without a doubt, Crab Island stands as a beacon of Cajun culinary excellence, deserving of every praise.“
“When I come I always look for Nani. She has a beautiful personality and she makes amazing drinks. I recommend Kanu to all my friends to come see Nani. Her service is great. If you need a nice atmosphere and great service come see Nani. The food and drinks are a plus.“
“The food is excellent. The interaction with the staff is excellent. They're very friendly, PATIENT and attentive! Most places I've been to, the food was over/under seasoned. Not here, the food was perfectly seasoned amazing.SUPER DELICIOUS!!!I just wish that it wasn't as crowded as it was.“
“If I have to choose one Korean sushi/sashimi restaurant in NJ, then Bada Story Englewood Cliffs is the one. The staff are extremely well trained. The back of house staff knows a thing or two about culinary excellence. And the owner/executive chef has put together an awesome items in the menu.Bada Story’s dinner feast boasts the most extensive assortment of appetizing sashimi in the tristate area. No, it does not come cheap. But the quality of fish they bring out totally justifies the pricing. Even the side dishes (aka tskedashi) is consisted of noteworthy seafood items. Dessert - the seafood soup - is the only thing that’s disappointing, but you are probably 120% over your capacity by the time you get the soup. By the way, isn’t it funny that Koreans eat a bowl of rice and seafood soup for their dessert?Their lunch special is outstanding as well. Whenever I crave sashimi, but I don’t want to spend $250 for a meal, I go to Bada Story for their lunch special. Nicely priced, but not compromised in quality. When the warm drinking water is exceptionally tasty (aka seung-nyeung) you know you are at a well operated restaurant. Highly recommended.“
“I loved going to this restaurant, the delicious ajiaco reminded me of my beloved Bogotá, the delicious fritters and the attention of the very friendly and helpful waiters. The place is very clean and well decorated, it feels like being at home.“
“Yesterday we came to Ellias for my son gf birthday ?.And let me tell you super worth it.Ann Marie accomodated us with the nice table by bar .We shared bunch of appetizers which were superbly tasty.we had chillean seabass and was outstanding. Our waiter Mahmoud was very attentive and gave us 5 stars expirence.Whole staff were on top of everything .the entertainment was absolutely classy bourlesque and violinist made our night .Thank you for the magical expirence .highly recomending.“
“Cool new spot in town! I was reluctant to try this place out but I decided to give it a try after seeing a nice crowd in there. It turns out there is a new owner, he just kept the name of the place the same. A mistake in my opinion but at least he did one good thing. He hired a great bartender named I know from Barrel and Brew. This guy can make a great drink and he is so personable. He interacts well with guests and designed a great menu of drinks. I enjoyed a couple of delicious margaritas while I was there. They also had a DJ named Bronson playing some great music. I look forward to seeing how this place does because I've always said this spot would make a great bar because of the nice patio outside. It would make a great hangout for the summer. I can't really comment on the food because I only tried an order of wings but they were good. The ambience though gave me reason to believe this place could make it at this spot.“
“What a fantastic place . Took a stay cation across the “pond “ from Manhattan and we celebrated Easter at this lovely restaurant. The food was incredible and this is coming from foodies in Manhattan , ( west village ) .Friendly staff , quick and happy to help.Best view ever !!!!“
“Visited for a lunch meeting and would definitely go backThe service was exceptional - servers were very polite, looked very neat and passed by our table requently to make sure everything was alright. The quality of the food is very good - they offer a very delicious warm bread with marinated carrots and olive oil as small appetizer - and its delicious!I was between the lasagna and the chicken parmigiana and ended deciding to order the lasagna, as recommended by our serverThe serving size was huge - and even if I was not in love with the meat filling (because I believe it had a blend of beef and sausage - not a fan of the last one) it was very good! The amount of cheese, sauce and pasta was perfect - and the unlimited parmigian cheese made it even tastier ??My friend ordered Penne a la Vodka with with a meatball and she seemed to have enjoyed it very much since both plates were left quite emptyWe did not order any dessert or coffee because we were sort of in a rush - but I would definitely be happy to visit again and try something else. The place is perfect to visit with relatives - it's like a good restaurant to go to with your mom, relatives or just for a business meeting - its very quiet and very clean, with very beautiful interior design. It seems to be a classic italian restaurant in the Bronx - Little Italy“
“The food is tasty. The atmosphere reminds me of me of the old fashion steakhouse. The chef is personable. The wait staff is great. Ask for John, for top notch service. The prices are compatible. It's a great place for family dinner, friend gathering, or date night. .“
“Had a really nice time here. The food was delicious, & the atmosphere and service were great. I had the shrimp kabob which was delicious & my husband had the ground beef kabob which was absolutely amazing. Our server Omid was attentive & friendly. You certainly won’t be disappointed if you go here.“
“Delicious, simply delicious. The food and atmosphere are the best. Magnificent place to spend a pleasant time in the company of the family enjoying a magnificent meal. 100% recommendable. The Service from Johnny, Drew and Paul is second to none! I highly recommend it and will definitely return. I suggest Pork Chops, delicious and perfectly cooked.“
“Carlos Ambrosio, I loved the service he gave us, he gave me the information I needed to decide on my order. MR. Carlos came to our table constantly to make sure everything is okay and if we needed anything. I would return to this place just to have him.“
“I've been going to Rumba Cubana for years and I've been to most of their locations. The food is always good, served hot, and the customer service is always great. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience (and I'm really picky when going out to eat)“
“Very nice spot in Harlem. great food, Awesome staff, great ambiance.Vegetarian options: Garlic noodles, Broccoli, Rice, Corn & PotatoesKid-friendliness: Fun smoke Fish Bowls Lemonade with candy. “Cape Cod has been open for 2 months. The attention to detail reminds me of high level luxury dining. The chef was very attentive and the staff was extremely friendly. This restaurant came as a surprise to us.Please come here. Treat your spouse. Korean or not, this is a fine establishment. Has Michelin vibes. Loved the food“
“Seafood Speakeasy! This unassuming Fish Market’s best kept secret is that it operates a restaurant in the back of the marketplace with the freshest catch you’ll find anywhere! Truly so good they will have you hook, line and sinker! The Halibut is to die for and lobster bisque with generous lobster portions. Better yet, if you want your favorite fish cooked a certain way, they’ve got you covered! Blackened swordfish? No worries matey! The room is small, immaculate and intimate yet service is kind, friendly and expedient. Note there is an early dinner crowd of locals, so timing is key. Nonetheless, despite the humble setting Seafood Gourmet churns out the most delicious seafood around, rivaling the most discriminating seafood establishments you can think of. Set sail on a voyage worth taking!PS Did I mention it’s BYOB?!“
“This review is for forte pizza which is attached to the restaurant - this place has some of the best pizza in the area and even better, their service is impeccable - the female manager always goes above and beyond - they had a dinner rush one night and I was accidentally over charged a few dollars (I didn’t even realize bc it was so little) - the next day I came in and she told me that my food was on the house bc they had made a mistake on my bill the night before - I have no idea how she figured it all out bc they must have hundreds of orders throughout the night - most places would count their drawer, see it’s over and not bother to look, but she must have gone through every receipt and found out I was the bill that got over charged and made it right - they will forever get my business and a 5 star review for their business ethics (obligatory Billy Madison reference) - doesn’t hurt that the food is incredible too!!!!“
“I really didn't enjoy my time here between the bartender having an amazing hand at cocktails to them sure the food tasted fantastic! Hats to their chef. Natalia (or Natasha i apologize for forgetting) was the best. Definitely will return! Their pistachio-ricotta cake was my TOP fav!“
“Came here with the family for a quick lunch and the pizza was fantastic. The service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly. The dining room and dinner menu look great and I can't wait to go back for dinner. Very happy I found this place.“
“Truly, in our area, there are as many Chinese Take-Out places as there seem to be, for some odd reason, barbers. Which means Many. And, as we have discussed, even not great Chinese food will find an audience as long as it's dependably not great. People like consistency and there are people who do Chinese take-out not in search of the Orricle, just a nice combo that fills you up without breaking your wallet. However. The times a restaurant rises above the rest, is consistently delicious, arrives dependably on time, and does both the simple and harder things right, there is reason to celebrate. Enter Great Wall in Dumont. We have eaten our way through Chinese Take-Out in all surrounding towns who deliver to Bergenfield. Some good, some meh, some definitely on repeat. As usual, we started with basics and worked into more specialty dishes the more comfortable we got. As far as appies, Great Wall got it going on. The usual offerings are good, hot, crispy and their housemade items are delish. One thing we ordered on Saturday we never had is "buffalo wings". Yes, their plain fried wings are good. But holy holy. We didn't expect a flavor explosion as we got with the buffalo wings. First, they aren't at all what you expect. These were their excellent fried wings with a sweet, lightly spicy, crunchy soy ginger thing going on that had us spooning that sauce over everything we could. I am not going into everything we have eaten in the past year. Do some dishes show up sometimes with too many green peppers (the devil to me)? Sure. Loaded up with white onions? Sure. But, that's a relative thing and people I know are just fine with that. The bottom line is, they don't skimp at Great Wall. Quality is quality and we will always have a reason to get delivery from them. Be nice, and tip well their driver -- he is the sweetest guy -- just what we would expect from a favorite restaurant.“
