“When I eat out, most restaurants are a one and done for me, but this ISN'T one of them.

I've been back multiple times and always leave soo content. The omakase is fantastic, and Frankie is an artist at what he does. Every course is a delightful experience of perfectly paired flavors.

Beyond the food, Frankie and his staff make the experience. I always enjoy sitting at the counter, visiting and watching him craft each course.

All of the sushi bar bowls come with edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, kani salad, regular salad (in this case, it was arugula), and avocado. The fish came in huge chunks, lightly marinaded, and tasted fresh. No complaints. I’d order again and try some actual rolls next time. I saw on their menu a pretty good deal for lunch - $12.50 for three regular rolls, so I’ll have to check that out.“

We wait a little more of what we expected.
But wait was worth it food was fresh, homemade and delicious, attention it’s def a 1000/10 you feel that you’re in your home, my 5yo daughter mentioned that she was being treated like her grandma treat her (so you can have an idea of how good they were) well, not many words to add.

We got lots of skewers and left super happy with the authentic Japanese goal grills. It takes a bit of time, but it's got the perfect smokey taste. “Definitely just discovered a gem of a ramen spot! Ordered their Marine King ramen on a rainy evening and it was like a hug in a bowl. The Marine King is a tonkotsu based soup but it has some lightness to it! Creamy but not overly creamy, it was just right. The noodles for this bowl is different, they use thicker and chewier wavy noodles, whereas in the regular tonkotsu bowl they use straight thin noodles. The head on prawns were sweet and delicious, perfectly cooked! Generous portion. Definitely one of the best bowls of ramen I've had in a while.“

“The Kani Salad Sando is killer! This sandwich is LARGE and tasty. Soft, fluffy white bread (which I usually don't like) holds the perfectly put together Sando like a big hug. Be prepared to be full! “It's hard to find great food near Carnegie Hall that does not cost an arm in a leg. But looking online we saw how reasonably priced this place is. Little did we know that the place would be absolutely gorgeous and the wait staff would be so friendly, quick and efficient, despite being extremely busy. And the food was outta sight! Fresh and delicious. Definitely a keeper. I will go even if I am not on my way to Carnegie Hall!!!“

“This is our local go-to for sushi and hibachi. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and efficient. We mostly order to go, but the restaurant itself is small but cozy with tables and a sushi bar. I'll also add that, in 7 years of ordering from them, they have not gotten a single item on any order wrong. Definitely worth trying.“

“I had great time this restaurant with my family!
Their signature Japanese style Hamba-gu is so soft and fluffy. To pair with it, our waitress gave us excellent descriptions about the six different sauces we could pick from. There was the Red Wine Demi-glace, Tomato Marinara, Gorgonzola White Cream, Soy-Onion, Oroshi Ponzu, and Chimichuri. She had recommended me the Soy-Onion sauce. And let me tell you, I am so glad I went with that sauce. It was truly exceptional! It had the perfect balance between it being salty and sweet, pairing perfectly with white rice. Although, I absolutely have to go back to try the other sauces as well!
Their Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) reminds me of when I had it in Japan, crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside.
For the side dishes, I recommend are Karaage (a Japanese style of Fried Chicken) and Yuzu Tomato. I also saw some other people having Toro Tartare and Yellow Tail Jalapeño and it looked so delicious!! Another reason to go back!“

The four of us were all duly impressed with the food and the service!! Dinner started with warm hand towels provided by our kind and efficient server. Our food was not only served in a timely manner but the presentation was extremely impressive.
As we were finishing we noticed the chef preparing a sushi feast. The boat of sushi designed for a group of regular customers was incredible. One woman told us she drove 45 minutes just to have the fresh sushi. That is a high compliment!!
