“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Absolutely wonderful — hands down one of the best meals of the trip. Every dish we ordered was excellent: the watermelon salad, tuna, mandu, steak and potatoes, tteokbokki, and the sesame bread and butter pudding were all full of flavor and beautifully presented.

I loved the Korean-fusion small-plates concept — creative, shareable and really well executed. The cocktails were also excellent.

We sat at the bar for a 5 p.m. dinner before a 7 p.m. show, and the timing was perfect. Service was sharp, everything came out at just the right pace, and the bar had such a lively, engaging atmosphere with great conversation from the team.

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. “We honestly didn't expect much from Bistro Verde but decided to go there because Nordstrom's was in the area of a show we were seeing. The restaurant--right smack in the middle of the sales floor--didn't impress me at first with its overly bright lighting but our greeting as we checked in and one of the loveliest servers I've ever had certainly changed my first impression. And the food! The hot honey chicken sandwich was incredible and my friend said the same about her French Dip. I will definitely go back! By the way, we went there early--about 4:30 p.m.--and they turned down the bright lights as we were leaving about 90 minutes later. Love this place!“

“Don’t judge a book by its cover for this one. The outside looks like a dark bar, and a dive bar inside. Don’t be deterred. The food is exceptional and beautifully presented. We ordered a tuna tartare, which came in a tower shape, and the oysters were top quality. The toasted striped bass was also awesome. Food is ordered by using a QR code that’s on the table top. Service was great as multiple servers came by each time. Drinks were also good! Only cons were the slightly loud music (but got drowned out/easier as more people came in) & the fact we reserved outdoor seating but the singular outside table was already full when we got there and had to sit inside. “Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“
