“Had a wonderful time at Lee's Hawaiian Islander! The ambiance here is so fun and relaxing—the tropical decorations, authentic Hawaiian music, and the soothing sound of the waterfalls instantly transport you.

Our drinks arrived incredibly fast and were delicious. For dinner, I ordered the Seafood Hawaii, and it was excellent! Everything was flavorful and well-prepared.

Some people even came dressed in Hawaiian shirts and leis! The owner Nancy came to our table to introduce herself and she was very very sweet, you can tell she cares a lot about her restaurant!

Definitely a great spot if you're looking for awesome food, fast service, and a unique, classic tiki vibe. Highly recommend!“

“Had a lovely dining experience at Beefbar. We started with the crispy rice tuna tartare: tuna had a soft texture and was full of flavor. We shared a 10oz wagyu filet, wagyu bolognese, and truffle fries. Everything was delicious! Steak had a nice char, was tender, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Pappardelle deserves a chefs kiss!!“

“My wife and I had lunch at Franchia after visiting the Mozart exhibit at the Morgan library. Excellent food! We loved the cauliflower soup and pumpkin porridge for starters, and the pan fried tofu and zen salad with steamed tofu and avocado were awesome as entrees. Atmosphere was perfect for a nice conversation, and service was excellent. My wife also had a warm matcha latte with oat milk which was wonderful . Highly recommend Franchia, we will be back!“

The food is halal. And absolutely exceptional.

Two favorites were the spicy phu with vegetables and the mixed in bulgogi with rice.

While they were busy with overs orders. I appreciated the space, everything needed was easily accessible.

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to Cameron. I took ill today and was graciously allowed to use their bathroom despite not being a customer. In the midst of trying to get myself together, I left my phone behind.
On calling, Cameron answered my phone and held onto it until my partner could return to collect it.
I’m due to fly home to Australia on Monday. Had Cameron not ensured my phone was safe, my last days in NYC could have been awful. But now my overriding memory will be of the friendliness, honestly and helpfulness of the wonderful New Yorkers I have met.
You did yourself, your restaurant and your city proud today Cameron. Thank you so much.

There as another customer here at the same time who was “part of the meal plan” and was absolutely terrorizing the staff. She was extremely combative and unreasonable and immediately escalated to “reporting” the employees. All employees stayed extremely calm and professional throughout the interaction, I was very impressed with them. Happy to give more information to the owner if she complains“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

(although the lettuce is weird sorry). the dumplings in chili oil taste super authentic and have a greattttt flavor. i loved everything here and i would order 10000 percent again. never change !! (besides the lettuce)

“Truly my favorite place to eat. I live a block away so go there all the time on the weekend and for dinner, sometimes take the train from my office in midtown down to Chelsea for lunch. This is truly the only fast-casual place where I feel the food is of high quality - it is clear everything is not mass-produced. The brussel sprouts are hands down the best I have ever had and same with the sweet potatoes. To be honest - everything is absolutely delicious. What makes it so special is you can truly tell that care was put into making everything that is served. Even the way it is displayed shows the amount of effort that goes into the preparation. The food is not over-seasoned or trying too hard to do something different - it is simply cooked well and with good ingredients, mixing which for some reason seems to be rare these days. The steak is honestly as good as steak I have had at much fancier restaurants. This is what fast casual should be. I am the biggest fan. I highly recommend.
