From start to finish, it was a night of culinary excellence.We began with beautifully composed opening bites - tuna tartare and black bass crudo - complemented by crisp, refreshing sparklers. The tuna was paired with a delightful Raventós i Blanc rosé that offered delicate red fruits and pastry notes. My crudo sang alongside a mineral-driven Cremant de Savoie.The lobster roe linguine course was a revelation, with the tender, briny pasta impeccably matched by a Sonoma Chardonnay's bright salinity and verve.For our mains, my Scottish salmon arrived perfectly cooked, beautifully plated with lentils, greens, and mushrooms in a lush cream sauce. A Burgundian Pinot Noir provided an aromatic counterpunch of spices and red fruits. My wife's seared scallops were sweet and succulent over an English pea puree, with a Loire Valley Chinon offering vibrant red fruit to accent the gnocchi and brown butter.Desserts did not disappoint - a decadent chocolate tart and sublime pistachio semifreddo complemented by the caramelized notes of an aged tawny port. “Stopped by a few weeks after opening. The food was excellent. Me and my boys ordered a little bit of everything. Drunken noodle was great. Duck was great. “We came with a friend and got to try most of the items. For three people, we shared some appetizers —— the seeded bread (7/10), scallops 7.5/10, duck bun (6/10), bucatini (7.5/10).The entrees were much better than the appetizers. Got the halibut, bbq pork, and duck breast. All were delicious, but the duck was definitely the best. Would come back for the main courses. Mille feuille was good too, not picturedCocktails were not memorable. Interior was beautiful!“

“This was a bustin crab place! I busted open those crab legs if you know what I mean. Ey yooo! My waiter, Anthony, was the man. “This is our second time at this location ( we ate at a Mermaid in the East Village). Great addition to fine dining in Times Square which seems inundated with fast food and chain restaurants. We're fish lovers and Mermaid has lots of delicious options — crudo, ceviche, oysters, clams for appetizers, lots of fish and non fish entrees. We had a tuna entree that was wonderful. We plan on returning. Highly recommend.“

“Booked a reservation here based solely on the reviews and I was blown away not only where they highly recommended, its open late! which is a big plus for workaholics like me and my husband.It was such lovely experience. “The place is nice, it smells like smoked food indoors which I don’t enjoy a lot but if you’re ok with that scent, the place is warm. A little snob, but maybe that’s the vibe they want to share around. We had reservation but it was delayed, and we couldn’t have a drink while we’re waiting. The food was tasty, but not crazy to wait for delays. However, the place is cute if you don’t mind those details. Some people of the staff, great, others a little snobby and not friendly. Extremely loud place too, if you like to have a conversation, it’s not the kind of place I would recommend. You should try it at least once to find out tho, maybe it’s fine for you. I like lively places but not the ones with such much noise that you can’t hear the person next to you.“

“The food was great. Even though it was small place and busy, the service was great.For the food we ordered 4 appetizers which was enough for 2 of us, but we saw people ordered couple of main courses. The good part was we ordered appetizers and find out we are full, so we were fine.Food was delicious. “It was my first time, and this place was inside the Chelsea Market. My daughter and my grandbaby had been to this location, and they wanted me to experience what they had. Fresh, fresh seafood. We had oyster at the lobster place next door first before wanting to eat a main entrée. The food was good. The location was clean. Will definitely return.“

“Came here for a surprise birthday lunch. Menu: Shrimp head Shrimp Mushroom Fish with the bones (?) Snow Crab with Shiso Leaf Brussel Sprout with Seaweed(?) Scallop Snow pea & Baby Onion Flying fish Lotus Anago Tendon with miso Wasn't incredibly oily at the end of everything, I had a beer to go with my meal as a palette cleanser. Service was great, showed great attention to customers. Chefs were attentive, and notice when you want a good video shot at the whole frying process and try not to ruin your video. As a small extra birthday surprise, added a nice large strawberry with a mochi ice cream. Great experience, would love to try again someday.“

“We had the most delicious meal with cousins from Italy. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. Parmigiana, Wild Boar meatballs, the Piccola Cucina salad, Rigatoni with pesto, Tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, ravioli and all of the desserts. The service was impeccable. The wine list is very extensive. We had 2 great bottles of Etna Rossa. I can't wait to go back!!“

“Food was supreme here. I had the raw clams, fresh and presented well. Cocktail sauce was done with care. My main was spaghetti and clams in tomato sauce with arugula salad and a touch of spring onions, that was a very fine detail. The effort was notable in the food. Service could be more disciplined though, some staff prioritise chatting with each other over customer service. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Would love to come back but I live too far.“

They primarily blend Japanese and French culinary elements to create an out-of-the-box and unforgettable dining experience.In 2023, due to disputes between the owner and the former chef, resulting in the departure of the ex-chef, they were removed from the Michelin three-star list, sparking considerable attention and comments from diners. From my recent dining experience at the restaurant, their removal from the Michelin three-star list does not imply that they no longer meet the standards of a Michelin three-star restaurant. Rather, it's because they are now operating as a "new restaurant" after reorganizing their chef team, which should be in a "grade pending" status. Personally, I feel that in the 2024 Michelin ratings, they have a very high chance of regaining Michelin star status, even if not immediately returning to three stars.Overall, this restaurant is highly suitable for diners interested in tasting fusion cuisine that blends elements from around the world, as well as for chefs in the food industry seeking new ideas. Additionally, the restaurant's service is excellent, even among fine dining establishments, as the staff seamlessly combine professionalism and friendliness. The dining environment in the restaurant is also excellent. Whether enjoying food preparation at the bar or having a more intimate dining experience at a table, both options provide a great experience.Here are some highlights of the restaurant's strengths:1. The seafood dishes at the restaurant are outstanding, with subtle seasoning that highlights the natural flavors of the seafood. Some small garnishes add a finishing touch to the dishes, akin to the layers of fragrance in perfume, leaving a memorable impression.2. The restaurant operates very efficiently, with each dish transitioning smoothly, akin to a symphony, where one movement ends and the next begins at the appropriate time.3. The service at the restaurant is excellent, with the staff knowledgeable about the dishes and beverages, smoothly and warmly introducing each dish, leaving a special impression on the diners.4. The desserts at the restaurant are delicious, whether it's pastries, ice cream, or fruit, all displaying creativity.5. The non-alcoholic drinks are excellent, providing a great option for those who do not enjoy alcohol.Furthermore, the restaurant may have some areas for improvement:1. The meat dishes at the restaurant seem to be less impressive than the seafood dishes, especially the wagyu beef dish, which is not cooked to perfection, failing to highlight the characteristics of wagyu beef.2. The sea urchin and waffle dish show great creativity in combining Asian and European ingredients. However, the waffle seems too soft and cannot effectively hold the uni; I almost dropped the uni while eating. Moreover, both the waffle and uni have a heavy sweet taste and soft texture, lacking impact. Perhaps replacing them with different bread and uni combinations would be better.3. While each seafood dish has excellent flavor, the seasoning and presentation seem somewhat repetitive, giving a sense of redundancy. Perhaps experimenting with more diverse elements and variations would be beneficial.4. The restaurant does not offer bread, a common feature in many European restaurants. Although bread may not be particularly expensive, I believe it is an essential part of French and many European restaurant cuisines. With bread, diners can dip it into the soup, creating a special dining experience and balancing the flavors of some heavier dishes.In conclusion, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I hope the restaurant regains its Michelin star status in 2024 and continues to explore the path of fusion cuisine, breaking through the limitations of traditional rating systems and textbooks, and continuing to be a representative of New York cuisine and a unique restaurant in the world.“

Against a backdrop of rock music, the tasting menu (which changes every week) takes us on a world tour: east coast oysters, kangaroo tartare, Japanese-style grilled fish, baba au rhum, tahini ice cream… One might think that it’s all over the place, but it actually forms an extremely coherent whole. The cuisine is modern and inspired, the service is casual but very professional. In short, Foexface Natural is one of the most exciting places at the moment. Run there so you can say you discovered it before their first Michelin star…“

“The restaurant was so cute inside. Very comfortable and spacious. The waiter was very kind and encouraged us to have fun. A manager brought us over to the downstairs club towards the end of the night where my friends and I enjoyed some tequila lemon drop shots. The shots were literally the size of a cocktail. The food was quite tasty. The pork dumplings and shrimp wontons were scrumptious and the lobster toast was the highlight of the entire menu!“

“Roccos is my go-to every time i come to NYC. The vibe is infectious from the minute you walk in. They have such great bartenders, a wonderful, attentive, and fun serving staff, All under a great management team! “I absolutely ADORED this place! I came here with my partner last weekend and I got the Shishito Smolder Margherita and she got the Clarified Cocktail Flight! Both were so mfing delish!!!! “Besides the fact that the service was excellent, from start to finish, the food was truly outstanding, beginning with a generous slab of parmesan cheese with bread at the beginning. I had the tomato soup, served piping hot as it should be, with melted cheese at the bottom of the bowl--wonderful touch! Had the Ramerino salad as a second course which was served with a light lemon/olive oil dressing--fantastic--followed by the spaghetti alla chitarra, which was great. The portions were generous throughout. If you like Italian food, you'll love this place--fresh, excellent ingredients beautifully prepared and plated.“

“I’ve been to Kyma a few times already and I always have a great time . First time I went on a Saturday night with a few friends and we had the time of our lives. The manager, Steve, was really nice and he made sure that we were having a good time. “In a world of declining service, The Capital Grille shines ever brighter with an experience more outstanding than usual! My meal was timed perfectly, and I was checked in on regularly by my server and the staff. I ended up dining by myself but never felt alone. Kristina provided exceptional service and was even kind enough to notice I was wearing black pants, and looked for a black napkin so there wouldn't be any transfer from the white napkin. Although there weren't any, I appreciated the attention to detail. Thank you so much for another wonderful dining experience. 5 stars!!!“

“Had my wedding reception dinner here with 3 other couples. Comfortable seating, good food, great cocktails and great service. We never felt rushed or bothered and the food came out in exactly the right amount of time. My only wish was for the live music to be postponed later as it was a bit loud for us. Food is solid standards, nothing spectacular but all very good and reasonable portions. Look out for cilantro in the pasta if you’re sensitive to that.“

“The Tin Building is beautiful in and of itself and the fulton fish bar is absolutely stunning as well. There are some table options but we sat at the bar which was very cozy with incredible fast service and very attentive wait staff. The bartender was extremely talented and prepared some absolutely delicious cocktails for us. I can't recommend the oyster shooters enough--and they shuck the fresh oyster right in front of you from the raw bar! We were only in for drinks but I can't wait to go back for a meal!“

“This restaurant does seafood right. The paella was perfect, as were the soccer shrimp. The appetizers consisting of fried calamari and shrimp in garlic sauce were excellent. The unsung hero of the meal was the fresh baked bread that allowed the delicious sauce to be sopped up like sponge. The only real downside is the dining room that lacks any real character or vibe.“
