“Awesome sushi spot tucked away. Gives a lasting impression. Inside appears it’d
make for a very pleasant visit. No matter the time of day. Does not disappoint. Decent prices. You won’t be spending $20+ minimum for a bite of decent food. It’s family owned. I’m almost afraid if they get more busy. They’ll start knowing their worth . Ha ha. Almost. I’ve ordered for pick up about 4 maybe 5 times by now. Local gem.“

“This is an absolute local experience. It has 3 bar seats and a loud friendly funny guy taking orders. I came here for the congee which was basic but so flavorful and homey. I got the noodles which they are known for and they were outstanding! Chewy, umami and not the prettiest dish. I’ll sacrifice looks for flavor any day! I works say you must be a Sami brave eager to try it but it’s a place I’ll definitely crave in the future!“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“A bougier twist on a lot of traditional Chinese dishes. The highlight of the meal was the braised pork belly, so melt in your mouth tender. Also don't miss the cucumber salad appetizer, I thought the flavors were unique and refreshing.“

“The best flavors, super authentic, delicious! We had a feast tasting almost everything on the menu. Spicy, non spicy, flavorful, hot, tasty, tender, fresh. Wow wow wow, definitely recommend Yum Cha, and coming back. And the service and atmosphere are made super nice by Ivy, the queen of smiles, happiness and positivity.“

“I unfortunately get the hype…
The outer layer of the pineapple bun is super buttery and crispy and the the bun itself is soft and fluffy. The pork inside is tender and was sweeter than I expected but it pairs so well with the little saltiness on the pineapple bun crust.
Super addicting, super delicious! Great for a quick bite when in Chinatown!“

“I came here for a friend's birthday dinner and we had an amazing time. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and I love the cozy but very Chinese decor. Our waitress was so nice, easy to talk to, and fun. The service was really quick.
We ordered hot and sour soup, peking pork, string beans, honey walnut shrimp, beef chow fun, short ribs, beef stew and radish casserole, and salted fish and eggplant casserole. Everything was delicious. My favorites were their peking pork, string bean, and casserole dishes. The honey walnut shrimp was good but the portions were okay for a group of 9. The beef chow fun was a great portion but I wish there was more flavor. Loved the short rib. They gave us complimentary watermelon at the end, as well as birthday flan for my friends and I. Had a great time and I think this is the perfect spot for some casual Chinese food with a big group of people (We got 10 dishes and the total ended up being only $240, post-tax for a group of 9! We all left STUFFED).“

“CASH ONLY and 100% hidden gem and worth all the support. Ambiance is not what makes an establishment worth a 2nd visit for me, the food is. Im sure others have already mentioned this is an out of the way hole in the wall hidden in a basement in Chinatown.. dumplings are very fresh and cheap and also available wholesale as well, 30 for $10 if I remember correctly. I had a an order fried and ate them standing outside on the sidewalk, but these nice people do have a few tables if you'd like to sit down. A very NYC foodie experience if you ask me and I will visit as often as I can! I truly appreciate that at least one of them speaks English. It is apparent that they are hardworking and very attentive to their customers despite their humble setup. I've received substandard service from better places than this, so for all these reasons I will be visiting as often as I can.“

“Why did it take me so long to try YGF? 🤯 This place is a gem! The restaurant is spacious, clean, and incredibly well-organized. I was impressed by the wide selection of fresh vegetables, proteins, and carbs — all customizable with your choice of soup or dry base for $16.99/lb. It’s easy to get carried away with so many delicious options!
My bowl came out to exactly a pound, and it was totally worth it. Flavorful, satisfying, and fun to build — I’m definitely coming back for more! 🥢🔥“

“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“

“Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn. Beautiful space, great food (get the whole steamed fish) and excellent service—friendly, helpful and relaxed. The place is busy but we never felt rushed. And for the quality and quantity of food it’s a great value. Will definitely be back.“

“The broth is clear and has a simple yet delicate flavor. The fresh ingredients are used, and the savoriness is like a Zen experience. The beef tripe is cooked in a way that preserves its true flavor, unlike the spice-rich ones you usually find at a dim sum place, which is very pleasant.“

This couple makes the absolute best food in town. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, large variety of options, from meats and seafood to mushrooms and vegetables.
Be ready to order, choose your spice level, and pay cash.
The couple is very friendly unless someone gives them a reason not to be.
Food is delicious and filling and will keep you ordering more and coming back with friends.“

“Thank you very much for allowing me to use your restroom it was an emergency it's hard for someone like me to be in a city where bathrooms are rare to find since I have a stomach disorder. “I went to a lot of restaurants in New York that were much fancier than this cart but this was my favorite food of the day. The cheong fun was gooey and had qq and a decent amount of meat. For $5 for the large, it was such a deal and fed three of us as a snack. I would go back in a heartbeat and order more. Wish we had this in Chinatown in Houston.“

“Wo Hop is a true NYC classic and absolutely worth the visit. The beef chow fun is amazing, but don’t sleep on the vegetable dishes — the Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce and the green beans with black bean sauce are outstanding. The egg rolls are just right, and the pork fried rice is excellent. Add in the old-school staff who keep things moving with charm, and you’ve got one of the best Chinatown dining experiences around. A legendary spot that always delivers!“

“Our server, Jesse, was amazing - really on top of things and provided a welcoming atmosphere, definitely a bright spot on this experience. This location could definitely use some TLC (and they need to bring back the tree in the dining room). The food was pretty good, but the wonton soup was very strange and my Chang's Chicken had a few pieces that were not good - both really strange for a PF Changs.“

“This is my favorite Chinese Restauraunt in Jersey city, seriously.
Top notch service and super delicious noodles. I always order the braised beef noodles, the pork and cabbage dumplings and the eggplant appetizer.
The staff is always very friendly and attentive. I come here frequently and it never disappoints.
If you want a super good noodle spot to try out… you must come here!“

“I visited Floral Restaurant near NYU with friends and ended up really enjoying the food and experience. Their grilled fish was flavorful, stayed warm throughout the entire meal, and came loaded with tofu, bean sprouts, potatoes, and other toppings. We also tried the popular Magic Beef Granules, which arrived inside a flaming “magic book” and made for a fun and memorable presentation while still tasting great. The mala chicken was aromatic and spicy in a very satisfying way, the stir-fried bean sprouts were refreshing, and the golden potstickers were crispy and delicious.“

“Great food, even better service. Nothing to complain about. Their boneless spare ribs and pork fried rice is the best, love their cheese wontons and egg rolls too. This place is super consistent, I’ve not had a bad order of food. Staff is always friendly; I was short on change once and before I could run to get some more, they let it slide.
Top notch restaurant, lucky to have them around.“
