Tim Hortons in Halifax

“When I was having a meeting here this morning, a fellow customer had a medical emergency requiring an ambulance. I cannot begin to describe the professionalism and kindness shown to him by the manager and staff. The manager called 911, remained on the line with the dispatcher relaying information and ensured that the situation remained calm and respectful. More than that, she related to the gentleman with such compassion, explaining to me that he comes in regularly and is known well by the staff who look forward to seeing him. It was clearly a mutual bond. What I saw today was so much more than a place selling coffee and donuts. I experienced a place where people look out for each other, where the manager is a phenomenal leader, the staff feel part of a team and customers (even first-timers like me) feel valued. Five stars isn’t anywhere near enough for these guys. The coffee was also really good!“

“There is an employee named Shroody (spelling might be wrong) who is amazing at her job! She sees me in line and because i get the same thing everyday (bacon everything flatbread pizza) when she sees me in the long lineup she starts the pizza so i don't have to wait forever for it after paying...this is awesome for me because my lunch breaks are only 30 mins and the lineup gets kinda long at that time...Kudos to Shroody!“

“I go to the drive thru on Young Street in Halifax at 4.30 am almost every morning. The girl who works the back shift is exceptional! She is always polite and welcoming every time. I look forward to our brief interaction . She is a very positive person and deserves a raise!

“The service today was excellent; despite the shop being crowded and busy, the service remained steady and fast. Unlike other places where you often have to wait a long time, the service here was great. In particular, a staff member wearing a long green uniform was polite and professional—I really appreciate that attitude, the smile, and the respect. Another staff member in red also came over to help and was equally wonderful. The service was far better than the drive-thru; the food was delicious, and the place was clean. Truly excellent work and There is a seating area under the tree in front of the restaurant; it is wonderful, and the air is lovely.“

“This Tim Hortons always has an incredible atmosphere. Incredible staff. They make the best old-fashioned plain donuts in the entirety of this region. Staff is impeccable. No stench of body odor which is very rare in a Tim Hortons these days. That's off to the owners and management for hiring such great staff“

“Katie helped my daughter and I. We got a cheesecake muffin and 20 timbits. She was upbeat, offered more than she had to to help us with our tough choice in which of the 20 we needed to get. “I drive past 2 other Tim's to reach this one on my way to work ,great speedy service. This week the scanner for the Tims rewards has been broken for 4 days now . This is on the drive thru, the walk in one works. . Missing out on my points and offers . No warning sign on the drive up speaker, if forewarned I might change my order“

“This site is within a secure military base. Access may be restricted to only those who work on the base or who are military personnel. Security at gate may not let civilians in unless they have business on the property

Parking: The area is patrolled by Military police and parking security. Their is a 15 minute time limit to be in the parking area. Violation will result in ticket and towing at owners expense“

“This is a kiosk inside of Nova Scotia Community College's Institute of Technology. It was reported in an earlier review that the kiosk is not open to the public, which is completely untrue. You're more than welcome to drop by for a coffee if you're in the neighborhood.“

“One of the workers at the location, Shelbie, knows me as a regular. She recently had my coffee ready for me before I even stepped foot towards the counter with her usual smile. “If I compare this Tim Hortons to others I have been to, I see that this one seems to have great service that exceeds the other Tims locations in the area. While being bombarded with a constant flow of students and staff of Dalhousie, these employees remain super efficient and friendly, which makes the overall service worthwhile. The food is what you expect from Tim Hortons, but the service is what's really notable here. The staff keeps the line constantly moving and often takes two orders at once, unlike other locations that will only take one. Overall, excellent job to the employees that work there! I would also like to add, if you order a brewed coffee they will prepare it immediatly instead of having to wait.“

“Honestly, the staff here are great and have way more patience than I would.
They deal with some seriously rude customers and still manage to stay nice and professional.
Some people really need to remember they’re just ordering a coffee, not running the place.“

“The place was swamped but the staff were so courteous and respectful! I did have to wait but only because I chose to. It was too busy to worry about a tiny mistake in my order (just not having it all ready! I got my hot sandwiches immediately! And they were delicious!)“

“Nice layout inside store, roomy. Our cashier was in training but the staff member training her was nice and well spoken. Lots of donuts and muffins to choose from, everything we wanted was in stock. Our table was a bit messy and covered in crumbs, as was another table we moved to, but this was at lunch time so it was understandable.“

I regularly go through the drive-thru in the morning, and all I have to say is, “Good morning, luv,” and they already know my order — all three items! It honestly makes me smile every time.

The entire morning team is always so friendly, polite, welcoming, and professional. Their service is consistently exceptional, and they make what could be just another quick drive-thru visit feel personal and appreciated. The fact that they remember my order and greet me so warmly really shows how much they care about their customers.
