“Good restaurant if you crave for warm soup during winter. You gave good variety of choices of noodle and topping and broth. They have a special kind of bowl that keep it warm. It is like your personal hot pot without wasting food. I can go there everyday and eat same kind of noodle with different broth and toppings and never get bored.
Besides that, you get free appetizer and drink during weekday lunch!“

“The store's handmade ramen is the most famous. Its beef noodles are very good and is everyone's first choice. The peanut butter spicy oil noodles are also very tasty and are our second choice. The scallion pancakes are also fried very crispy. Their soy sauce is Sweet soy sauce. General Tso's chicken is a favorite choice for children. The food is served quickly and the service is good at a reasonable price. Will come back again.“

“Delicious! There was a little bit of a wait during lunch rush but got seated shortly after. I think the flavors are there and okay, but nothing too outstanding. Wish there were more noodles or beef or veg tbh but in this economy this is not bad already 🙂↕️“

“The food is incredibly fresh and yummy! I got the beef and pickled cabbage, and the sourness is a great complement to the oil and spice. The beef is fried up to be a little crispy, and along with the peanuts, are a nice textural balance to the noodles.“

“I always order on Uber Eats but since I was near by at a park, I figured I go in. Best decision ever!
Service: Amazing 💕💕 it was pretty busy for a week day but the food came out fast and tasted amazing. I think name of the drink I the photo is Tim tub (ruby). Not too sweet but very good.
Atmosphere: cozy. Small place but there is out door seating. I sat inside and the AC was great. Not too cold.
Food: I order a soup. It had crab meat, pork and a dumpling in it. Not spicy but they put hot sauces on your table in case you want to add spice.
Wheel chair accessible and family friendly.
Total was 39.20
I will be back 💕💕💕💕
Thank you!“

“OMG!! I stumbled upon this hidden gem;
I was first greeted with a very welcoming approach so, asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was so delicious and yummy. I give this noodle house a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back, and you should try it too.“

“Came here for dinner with my mom and left completely satisfied. I had the spicy seafood kalguksu (mild spicy) — the broth was clean, deeply savory, and the hand-cut noodles had the perfect chew. My mom got the spicy seafood sujebi (regular spicy) and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The seafood was fresh and the portion was generous.
The atmosphere is warm and the service is genuine — you can tell this place is run with real care. If you're looking for authentic Korean noodle soup in the area, Daesung Korean Noodle is the real deal. Highly recommend for anyone craving handmade kalguksu or sujebi done right.“

“I've been coming here for a long time and I really love everything about it. You get attended to and treated politely by the staff, but not bothered by them unless you need something so you can enjoy your meal there. The food is nicely portioned and tastes the best during the winter when you just walked through streets of chilly air and sit inside to have a nice bowl of hot broth and warm noodles. Please tip nicely if you can, they deserve it!! ❤️“

“I have to say this place is now one of my absolute favorites. It’s been a week and I’m still obsessed with the food. I’m heading back as soon as I finish this because it was that incredible.
We found it by accident—the amazing smell pulled us in while heading to a nearby café. We both got brisket pho: my husband with extra noodles and meat, me with lemongrass spicy broth and extra meat. The flavors were perfect, tender brisket, just the right kick. We were too busy savoring to talk at first.
Our server was so sweet and offered us free sodas on the house when she heard it was our first time. The vibe was cozy and relaxed.
The french fries looked amazing next door—next time we’re sharing them for sure.
If you love Vietnamese food, go! Everything was spot on. Can’t wait to be back 😊“

“Really enjoyed the food here and it was so good. We got the pork cutlet which was really crispy and the portion sizes were huge. The bulgogi kimbap was really juicy and practically melts in your mouth. The pricing was really fair and the total was about 40 bucks. The food came out fast and it was really fresh.“

“I’m so sad they got rid of their Yuzu chicken ramen because that was my go-to 🥺🥺but their tonkotsu ramen is good too and very affordable!! 🥰 staff is always kind as well! The only problem is that there’s no cellphone service in this food hall 😅“

“I got a to-go wonton + egg noodle + beef stew sauce and my compliments to Maxi 🙏. This was god like comfort food, an amazing quality and freshness at a price that is chef’s kiss. Made sure that side of chili oil was all used as well. Heavenly!“

“OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Manna our hostess was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!“

“Been here twice now and I'm kicking myself for not having come to this spot earlier during my time living in Jamaica, NY. Both times they have been awesome. No frills, no pizazz.... For this place, you probably will not eat at the restaurant. Not really a sit-down place although they have some tables and chairs. Who cares. The dumpling are ABSOLUTELY amazing and fresh. Homemade! My favorite dumplings are the basil chicken dumplings. My wife really likes the shrimp dumplings (both fried). We had the sesame pancakes with beef and they are just heaven. Very good all around.
Order for pickup as it will take a bit since they make them on the spot. I will be including photos my next trip since I've been unable to avoid tearing into my food before taking photos.“

“Overall, thought the food was mediocre. Was not traditional taiwanese food and i thought i could be better. got the fried pork chop over rice, flavor was there but it was just too oily. the popcorn chicken over noodle was very bland, the beef noodles were pretty ok, but not traditional. I would give this place a 3.5 stars but i rounded up to a 4. The ambiance here is pretty good and the service is quick and efficient so that’s a 5 for me. food was a 3 star. would not come back probably as this was not very wowing. just go inside tangram and you’ll probably have something more satisfying.“

“We were the only customers. Service was top notch. The waitress spoke Korean and Mandarín. We ordered eel and short rib on bbq and a hot stone pot bibimbap. There was so much food. There we’re 8-10 banchan dishes. Then they brought out a veggie pancake, eggplant dish, steamed egg and soup. It was DELICIOUS 맛있는! See you soon!“

“Casual, amateurish service does nothing to detract from the delicious food. The dishes are deep, complex and sincere. Plating varies from beautiful to mundane. One constant is the wonderful flavors of the food. Will go again and again and watch them sharpen up the lesser skills while delighting in excellent food at very low prices!“

“Meats are great but they have hands down the best Nengmyun. I crave this every summer and literally come eat this every chance I get because they dont deliver. Its that serious. They cook on cystal pan which is quite different than other places and the atmosphere is mediocre but if you know what youre going there for in regards to food then 10/10.“

“I absolutely crave their hand-ripped noodles and was so happy that they had the concubine chicken available again. I don’t eat mammals and throughout the years across different locations, chicken isn’t always available. I also remembered it having chopped pieces with bones and was happily surprised that it was only meat this time. Yes, there is a lot of chili oil (kinda drenched and pooled in it), but the flavor is addicting, especially paired with the satisfying chewy thick hand-pulled noodles. Be careful if wearing white clothes! I don’t know any place else that compares with Xi’an Famous for their signature dish, including competitors.
This location was out of the way but I wanted to share this new year’s meal with family that I knew they’d enjoy. They relished the cumin lamb version and we shared the cucumbers, spinach dumplings and tofu (which was hot and silken, like soondubu). We got some decadent drinks from one of the shops in the mall. Seating is a bit perfunctory like their other locations, but we were able to seat ourselves after a short wait. Demand seems to ebb and flow.
The newish mall was fun to explore with all the restaurants and food hall. Felt like I was in Asia again. Street parking in the area is tough, but we lucked out that very frigid night.“

“A great hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. They only serve one dish (or rather, bowl). And it's beef and cabbage soup with rice. Also known as Sogogi-gukbap (소고기 국밥).
Only 2 questions are asked:
1) how many people?
2) spicy or not spicy?
And those are the only questions that need to be asked. The servers are nice and attentive.
There's a reason why this place has been here for as long as it has.
The food is delicious and the best way to describe it is: just like mom used to make it.“

“Good Chinese's restaurant highly recommended I love the duck and roasted pig but I always heat up the meat because all the time for me I like my food hot especially if it's greasy and it be like room temperature but the flavor was good“

“Amazing noodle soup. I got the green pepper big bowl with fish. Did not expect the bowl to be so huge. Intense numbing spice that you acclimate to throughout the meals I ate the whole thing and got free extra noodles. I was late to meet my friends after due to the itis but it was worth it“

“This is not Deoksugung Palace, but has been changed to a raw fish restaurant. We went to Wassada Hoepocha for lunch, and the two of us ordered a large portion of assorted raw fish and ate a lot. If you go to other places, they serve a lot of sukidashi, but the sashimi is served in 4 pieces of each type on top of something like a stone, and they use dry ice to create an optical illusion, but here, the sukidashi is served simply, but the sashimi is really steamed and served in abundance. The salmon is eaten with red pepper paste and wasabi sauce, the tuna is wrapped in seaweed and dipped in oil sauce, and the flounder is eaten with ssam sauce, so it's really delicious. The sashimi was so plentiful and fresh that I thanked the chef and he really impressed me. The owner served me very kindly, so I enjoyed my meal. Oh, and after you finish eating all the raw fish, spicy spicy spicy stew is served in an earthen pot, so make sure to save some. There is a $20 difference between the medium size and the large size, so I ordered a large size to try to eat as much raw fish as I could, but I ended up getting so full that I ended up packing the rest. This is enough for two people to eat together. I think I will eat it generously. Sea Story was $200 for 4 people a few years ago, but it seems to have gone up now. This is a place where 4 people can fill their stomachs with sashimi for half the price. I highly recommend it to those who are serious about sukidashi.“

“We ordered mostly noodle soup dishes, and they were flavorful in my opinion. They have 8 different types of noodles you can choose, and they have a little display that shows each type of noodle. Unfortunately, they do not have an official website, and their menu does not show it either, which would be helpful. The portions were not huge, but neither were the prices. Nice atmosphere inside; not too big and looked clean.“

“This is my newest favorite in the wonton restaurant in New York. It is a tiny place, but the free tea is hot. I had the "trio" wonton with noodles, with additional vegetables, which are tender baby yuchoy. The trio wonton were all very good, but I can't say I could distinguish among the three types. All had crunchy shrimp, one said had watercress, although I couldn't figure which. The added vegetables, for an extra $2, was well worth it. The vegetable portion was large enough to merit a second bowl. It was a bargain at $12.50. I liked it so much that I ordered the same a few days later. The 3rd time I visited, I ordered wonton with stewed beef and with added vegetable. Again, it was very good, but the vegetable portion was significantly reduced, but the beef portion was large (very large for someone who rarely eats meat). I ordered this dish twice also.“
“MoLiXian is one of the stalls in the New World Food Court. It offers all kinds of desserts and snacks - from ice cream, egg puffs, to savory crepes and, supposedly, noodle soups. Since this is a day trip for me and this is a food court, I wanted to sample around. Here, there's a dedicated menu section on takoyaki, so I decided it must be worth a try. There are 4 different takes on takoyaki. I took T1, the classic take with bonito flakes. Menu says jumbo, but actually it's just slightly larger than the mini ones I've had else where. Taste is good, but as always everywhere, they don't really put much octopus in them. Their version also weren't sweet which was a good thing. I don't like the fact that many Japanese dishes mix sweet and savory together. Overall, it was a good experience.“

“Had an amazing meal here! We ordered their special dishes — roast goose, soy sauce chicken, and beef brisket hotpot — and everything was absolutely delicious. The roast goose was perfectly crispy with juicy meat, the soy sauce chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the beef brisket hotpot was rich and comforting. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. The staff were friendly and the food came out fresh and hot. Definitely one of the best Cantonese meals I’ve had — can’t wait to come back!“

“This place is a hidden gem . The hand pulled beef noodles are incredible . Do yourself a favor and give it a try . The price is inexpensive but the quality is insanely good . And the staff here are all so friendly and kind . Hands down best noodles in Flushing . If you never normally eat noodles or aren’t a fan I think this will put you on to it . I never leave reviews but this place warrants it . 10/10 !“

“D & Y Kitchen has been around in the Five Towns area for a long time (well over 20 years I believe) and their food has remained consistently delicious and attentively well-prepared and presented.
You can tell when a chef takes pride in his menu, dishes and culinary skills.
It is a friendly, small take-out establishment
with a couple of tables to sit at
while you wait for your food...
but delivery is a reliable option
as well.
My husband & I recently ordered some meals and I can happily say
each dish was a delight!
Nothing disappointed!
The portions are generous & well-priced.
The quality of ingredients is very high.
Most importantly though, each and every menu item we tried was cooked to perfection and put satiated smiles
on our faces!
Yum!
My husbsnd particularly enjoyed his large, crispy chicken wings and fragrant, peppery, mushroom-abundant hot & sour soup.
I've become addicted to their saucy
spare-rib tips and lobster fried rice!
The perfectly cooked noodle soups are delicious too and brimming with bright, fresh vegetables, thick (I chose udon) rice noodles with good chew and
last, but not least, tender pieces of meat
carefully arranged & placed on top.
Nothing was too salty or under or overly seasoned or spiced.
Oh!
And I tried their substantial steamed
pork dumplings the last time we ordered
and they were fantastic!
Great satisfying chewy texture
to the wrapping with a savory-delicious hidden-treasure dob of pork filling inside.
The dipping sauce on the side had a subtle full-flavored tang to it and quickly became addictive! (Next time, I will definitely request an additional small container)
We look forward to trying new menu offerings each time we order
from D & Y Kitchen.
We honestly think it's a gem!
(Oops! Now the secret's out ;)“
