“D & Y Kitchen has been around in the Five Towns area for a long time (well over 20 years I believe) and their food has remained consistently delicious and attentively well-prepared and presented.
You can tell when a chef takes pride in his menu, dishes and culinary skills.

It is a friendly, small take-out establishment
with a couple of tables to sit at
while you wait for your food...
but delivery is a reliable option
as well.

My husband & I recently ordered some meals and I can happily say
each dish was a delight!
Nothing disappointed!

The portions are generous & well-priced.
The quality of ingredients is very high.
Most importantly though, each and every menu item we tried was cooked to perfection and put satiated smiles
on our faces!
Yum!

My husbsnd particularly enjoyed his large, crispy chicken wings and fragrant, peppery, mushroom-abundant hot & sour soup.

I've become addicted to their saucy
spare-rib tips and lobster fried rice!

The perfectly cooked noodle soups are delicious too and brimming with bright, fresh vegetables, thick (I chose udon) rice noodles with good chew and
last, but not least, tender pieces of meat
carefully arranged & placed on top.

Nothing was too salty or under or overly seasoned or spiced.

Oh!
And I tried their substantial steamed
pork dumplings the last time we ordered
and they were fantastic!
Great satisfying chewy texture
to the wrapping with a savory-delicious hidden-treasure dob of pork filling inside.
The dipping sauce on the side had a subtle full-flavored tang to it and quickly became addictive! (Next time, I will definitely request an additional small container)

We look forward to trying new menu offerings each time we order
from D & Y Kitchen.

“Really enjoyed our dinner at Sup Thai Kitchen!
Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.

The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.

If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“

I stumbled upon this wonderful little Taiwanese noodle shop, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The place is small and cozy, but exceptionally clean—making it the absolute go-to spot for a quick, hassle-free dinner after a long workday when you don’t feel like cooking.
Pork chop with rice—literally the pork cutlet is huge-bigger than your face! It’s thick, incredibly crispy, and juicy, pairing amazingly well with the fragrant rice.
Tomato beef noodle soup- the broth has this perfect sweet-and-tangy flavor, the beef melts in your mouth, and the noodles have a fantastic, chewy texture. Delicious! 😋
pork belly buns - You get three adorable little bites -the savory braised pork belly paired with pickled vegs is just mouthwatering.
On top of all that, it's self-service, which is super convenient and saves you from paying tips!

“I was in the area and I come there for Korean food but happened to notice this place stating Korean Vietnamese food and was a little skeptical. I am Vietnamese and do speak Vietnamese and know the Vietnamese names for the dishes. This woman knew how to make vietnamese food with her Korean flare,just didn't know the names understandable. I inquired about one dish the call Bun Cha and is actually with Bun the skinny rice noodles and flattened pork meatballs and actually was made famous by president Obama visiting Hanoi, a Northern Vietnamese dish and not cold dipping noodles as they say that's a Korean dish.“

“Stopped by after shopping at 99 Ranch Market and tried the beef short potato noodles and the tomato family-style rice noodles. Both were hot, flavorful, and filling. We also ordered the chicken bites and crispy pork, which were pretty good too. Convenient spot to grab a warm meal after grocery shopping. Would come back again!“

“When i have no target at a food court, drifting from stall to stall, I seem to always end up with noodle dishes. Today was no exception, after roaming through the food court at Eat Up without a decision, we settled with Chong Qing Noodle at the New World Food Court.

We haven’t eaten here before. I asked the staff for their number one signature dish from this Sichuan city if Ching Qung. The answer came back without hesitation: the Minced Pork & Pea ($10.99). We also ordered the Pickled Cabbage & Beef Slices ($12.99).

When the dishes were ready, I had to confirm if they were really my dishes because I had thought minced pork comes with dry noodle. Why? The minced pork gets lost and ends up at the bottom of the soup instead of clinging to the noodle like the Korean jajangmeon. The other dish, on the other hay, was on point. The fatty beef slices curled up like the hot pot meat, nice and tender. The noodle itself was a bit too thin for me.“

The bulgogi kimbap was really juicy and practically melts in your mouth. The pricing was really fair and the total was about 40 bucks. The food came out fast and it was really fresh.“

I tried the beef bulgogi soft tofu stew, but the veggies inside were bitter, which made the whole thing taste bitter. I let our server know, and they kindly took it off the bill.
On the bright side, the seafood pancake was amazing and had so much seafood in it! I really appreciated how they handled everything, so I’d still recommend giving them a try.“

“Stopped for a meal while heading to the dreaded LaGuardia airport during heavy rain. The original restaurant choice was thwarted by the weather and lack of parking. Luckily we stumbled on this establishment after finding the public parking lot across the street. I am not usually a noodle eater but was very happy with the meal, meat and noodles (#112), I think I'm a convert. If not for the distance, I would definitely eat here again and again.“

“You know a restaurant is going to be good when they only serve one thing on the menu. This is a small mom-and-pop shop, so IYKYK!

Their specialty is beef & cabbage soup with rice, served with a side of omelette and kimchi radish (banchan). It’s simple, but packed with bold flavors. I went with the spicy option, which was still pretty mild, but incredibly flavorful and comforting.

The beef was super tender, and the soup also came with glass noodles, which was a nice touch. Nothing fancy, just really good, comforting food done right.

“Been here twice now and I'm kicking myself for not having come to this spot earlier during my time living in Jamaica, NY. Both times they have been awesome. No frills, no pizazz.... For this place, you probably will not eat at the restaurant. Not really a sit-down place although they have some tables and chairs. Who cares. The dumpling are ABSOLUTELY amazing and fresh. Homemade! My favorite dumplings are the basil chicken dumplings. My wife really likes the shrimp dumplings (both fried). We had the sesame pancakes with beef and they are just heaven. Very good all around.

Order for pickup as it will take a bit since they make them on the spot. I will be including photos my next trip since I've been unable to avoid tearing into my food before taking photos.“

“The food at this place is amazing, the staff are very polite and efficient at what they do. They are especially known for their trade mark chili sauce which is one of the key ingredients in most of their dishes and they also sell the sauce separately in small jars.
The most popular dish they have is the NS2 which is a soup based beef noodle stew. They also have the non-soup version which is the N2
This particular location is very spacious with plenty of seating but it also has a unique advantage in that if you come around closing time, which is 8:30pm, you can always take the food to go and simply walk a few steps out of the restaurant and sit at the many tables in the mall and eat your food there. There are also restroom facilities in the mall right next to the restaurant itself. There is something very serene and peaceful about ambience at this particular location. It has a lot to do with the staff who are very polite and accommodating“

Food was good. Lots of sit downs and locals. They pull their own noodles. You order and dont need to pay tip/tax. Menu prices are affordable hanging from $9 to $13. Business has been open for few years! Ambiance is definitely no frills bare minimum, but food quality is consistent. The stir fry noodles are a tad bit heavy on the soy sauce, but that is a preference.

“MoLiXian is one of the stalls in the New World Food Court. It offers all kinds of desserts and snacks - from ice cream, egg puffs, to savory crepes and, supposedly, noodle soups. Since this is a day trip for me and this is a food court, I wanted to sample around. Here, there's a dedicated menu section on takoyaki, so I decided it must be worth a try.There are 4 different takes on takoyaki. I took T1, the classic take with bonito flakes. Menu says jumbo, but actually it's just slightly larger than the mini ones I've had else where. Taste is good, but as always everywhere, they don't really put much octopus in them. Their version also weren't sweet which was a good thing. I don't like the fact that many Japanese dishes mix sweet and savory together. Overall, it was a good experience.“
