“This is such a great place in the WV, honestly sometimes it feels so hard to find a place that isn’t geared to tourists or sort of a bland palette. This restaurant is way more chic and interesting that most of the restaurants in the area while also serving approachable food. This will be my new go-to when I have something to do in the neighborhood. Not to mention the service was really great and the vibe of the space is just right. I must say it sometimes is lame to order the bread and butter but it is really spectacular!“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“This was my first time coming into this establishment and it more than exceeded my expectations. The ambience is clean and modern. The staff is precise and charming. Definitely a level of sophistication in the atmosphere. I really appreciated the calm social vibe while meeting new people at the bar. I started with a caviar tasting along with a new take on a few of the standard accompaniments. I usually don’t like blinis but these felt like fluffy clouds of buttermilk biscuits. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. “We came here for my birthday, and most of the food was spectacular. One or two things were a little off (the gnocchi wasn’t the best) and some things seemed a little outrageous as far as pricing goes ($25 for fries, which only come with ketchup, if you’re going to charge me that much for fries at least make it exciting with various dipping sauces?). The wine list was great and everything we had to drink was perfect. Over all a nice experience“

“We went on my birthday for the first time, despite living in this building for ages, and we had such a great time!

The overall service was excellent right from the minute we arrived at the front desk near the lobby. They took us all the way up on a separate elevator to the restaurant where we were greeted at the bar, and the bartender started us off with some excellent cocktails. We were then seated at our table and our captain, AJ did an excellent job guiding us through the menu.

We also had very specific medical food restrictions (which weren’t the easiest to accommodate since the menu was mostly seafood-based), but the restaurant was so good about making these accommodations for us. The attention to detail here, from the chef to all the staff who were very mindful of these restrictions, was truly remarkable.

We decided to do the full tasting menu and it was truly an experience as we dined across from a divine view of the sunset on the river.
