“Solstice pizza has some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. I will be back.”
“We found ourselves in Hood River and looking for a place we could enjoy some local ciders. Crush Cider Café was it! The service was friendly and welcoming, the selection of ciders was large with something for everyone's tastes, and everything we sampled was delicious. We ended up leaving with a 6-pack of ciders canned on site with our favorites. Their tacos were phenomenal, and the warm house made corn tortillas were fantastic. We dined outside and the patio was cozy. Definitely make this a stop when you are in Hood River if you are looking to try a wide variety of ciders and enjoy delicious food!”
“This was the perfect place for our anniversary dinner. Every detail and aspect of the restaurant was on point. Nathan is amazingly perceptive and chef Sarah Doyle’s food was exquisite. We loved every minute of our experience.”

“This was delicious bbq! Our group tried the brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, Mac and cheese, and picnic potatoes. The burnt ends were the crowd favorite but it was all fantastic.”
“Beer is great. Had the Belgian Strong Dark - really good, strong flavor. Ordered the Jerk Chicken Sandwich - not very spicy, kind of saucy (in an uninteresting way), and not enough Cole slaw; side salad was lettuce with caeser dressing, which in a garnish not a salad...
Service was great.”

“Thank you Boda's Kitchen for everything you do. You make everyday special and special days extraordinary. From the cookies, hot and cold sandwiches, fantastic salads (actually more than fantastic), roast chicken and potatoes, to your cheese and salum selections and all the tasty treats to go with. Then the special days, wow, your catering is absolutely the best. We all know that if it comes from Boda's, it will be incredible. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you”

“We found another Papa Murphys location in Hood River, OR, that has pizza pie making down to a science. Generally, we order our favorite, customized pizzas from the 192nd Vancouver WA store, but happened to be in Hood River today. Awesome pizza pie, exactly what we ordered and prepared in amazing time. We ordered through the app and expected at least a 30 minute to an hour wait. This is 3/4/25, PIDAY25 and as busy as this team was, we got our pie in very short order and it rivals pizza from our go to Papa's location. I'll attach the image from just before the bake and another taken after we were quite satisfied, (yes this entire pizza nearly disappeared in minutes.) Thank you Hood River team. Awesome work including the smiles!!!”
“They're fast, friendly, and will make your beverage exactly the way it needs to be made!! Notice I didn't say the way you want it to be made.... That's because after you tell them what you want, they go above and beyond to make a drink you'll appreciate for about 10 to 15 minutes as you slurp every drop you can from the cup you're handed!!! They take your idea and turn it into an art form!!! They know what they're doing, so sit back, relax, and let them make something you'll definitely enjoy!! I say kudos to the staff at this Dutch Bro's!! They're amazing, and now my new routine and morning stop whilst I head to my daily grind!!! Love this place!!!”
“From the very first time we visited Édeske, we fell in love with their desserts and knew they would be part of our wedding one day. Tamara, James, and their team went above and beyond, crafting a stunning dessert table, our wedding cake, and brunch pastries for the weekend. The assortment of macarons, petit fours, tartlets, and choux buns was curated to reflect both our personal favorites and beloved classics, all while feeling refined, elevated, and reimagined. Our wedding cake was a visual masterpiece and a symphony of flavor and texture. Édeske brought such creativity and care to every detail, and we wholeheartedly recommend them.

“I love this place. It’s perfect for a Sunday drive. We love all the wines here we especially love the fact that they give us all the tastings at one time. So many times at other wineries, we were left waiting and waiting for the servers that were too busy to come back and refill and I really appreciate the fact that you bring all the taste at one time! The servers are top notch as well !!! Our favorite winery in the gorge !!”
“We brought family in from Texas who were visiting for the first time in 10+ years. They remembered The Pines and old vine zin from a decade ago and wanted to make sure they returned. Geoffrey made it a great experience for them.. loved everything they tasted. Some old vine Zin will make its way on Alaska airlines back to Texas!!”

“This last weekend was our first time. What a wonderful, clean environment. Friendly staff, and both my husband and I feel some of the best Chinese food we have ever had! The General Tao’s chicken and it was so tender and incredible! I highly recommend this place, and we plan on making a trip to the gorge more often to enjoy it. Another positive, they have parking!”
“As a professional wedding planner, I had the great joy of working a wedding here in July and I was BLOWN AWAY by this venue, not only for it's views and architecture but also by it's company culture, customer service and love for clients. I have added this venue to our VIP Venue list for 2024+2025 which grants their clients a $200 discount on all wedding planning packages simply because we can't wait to work at this venue again!”
“What a rad little shop! Nice collection of taps and bottles/cans. Amanda and Ika were a treat to hang out with. Will definitely be back.”
“We went to u-pick the end of June for the first time and it is so beautiful there. There u-pick farm is very reasonably priced and the fruit taste amazing. We are headed back very soon. Highly recommend this place!!”

“Beer is carefully selected, atmosphere is bright and inviting, when they have food, it is special. Besides that, it is just a chill space to meet friends and hang out, without feeling like your in a local dive. Although, it is locally owned and represents the community.”
“Pine Street Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/15/22, I stopped in Hood River, Oregon to check out Pine Street Bakery. Owner Megan Davis’s mother started Grand Central Bakery in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Today, there are 11 locations between Portland and Seattle. If you ever have an opportunity to visit a Grand Central Bakery/Café, I recommend it. I wanted to try one of their famous Cardamom Knots, which are Challah dough slathered in Vanilla Butter, covered in Cardamom Sugar and tied in a Knot. Unfortunately, they were out. I got a Carrot Cake cupcake ($5), which is one of their best sellers, as well as a Maddie Cake cupcake ($5). The Maddie Cake cupcake is a seasonal cupcake that changes with some regularity. The current Maddie Cake cupcake is Peaches & Cream. It is Vanilla cake filled with Peach compote made from local peaches, topped with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Butter cream frosting. I enjoyed both cupcakes but my favorite of the two was the Maddie Cupcake because it was so unique. There was a generous amount of peach compote in the center of the cupcake, as well as on top. The compote had great flavor. Both cupcakes were fairly dense but moist. In addition to the baked goods and breads, Pine Street Bakery has Breakfast, Lunch, and Coffee menus, as well as specials. They also sell a lot of other products and fresh flowers. Highly Recommended!!!”
“We are so happy we chose Amy for our wedding. The dessert table was a huge hit! From the first consultation to the final delivery, they were professional, communicative, and an absolute pleasure to work with. And the desserts? Pure perfection. Every bite was more delicious than the last. She was so accommodating with my Gluten Free allergy and the variety was fantastic, the flavors were rich and authentic. We highly recommend her to anyone who wants to impress their guests with both a stunning display and incredible taste.”
“I've been here a few times now. This is my favorite bakery I've found on the Fruit Loop so far. I love their strawberry and huckleberry cinnamon rolls, and 2/3 of the cookies I've tried have been great. The third (tart cherry) had way too much baking powder, but honestly, that kind of error once in a while just helps prove they're homemade. They have over a dozen creative flavors of cookies, three or four kinds of cinnamon rolls, and a few varieties of empanadas. The cinnamon rolls and empanadas are currently mix and match 3/$15, or $6 each. If you're camping and happen to have a cast iron pie press, I highly recommend reheating the cinnamon rolls this way. I also tried their non alcoholic honeycrisp cider, and was so happy with it. It's at least as good as my favorite cider from my favorite farm at Apple Hill back home. Aside from having great pastries and cider, Packer Orchards also sells all kinds of local jams and homemade ice creams. They always have a plethora of local dips, sauces, and condiments out to sample. They also have some custom made Instagram photo ops out in their orchards. The girls who work here are all super friendly. Love this place.”
“Best food in Hood River! And right up there with the top restaurants in Portland, as well. Tasty seafood options, steaks, pasta. Good variety, focusing on quality over quantity. Beautiful presentation. Desserts are top notch and in appropriate proportions. Having been here many times over the years, we drove an hour from Portland just for dinner on a beautiful day. The views from the deck are wonderful!”

“Stumbled on this place a few years ago on a trip to Hood River. Hard to find if you don't know about it. Great beers on tap, probably the best Pale Ale I've had. Always love a place where you can chat with the owner or head brewer. Great place to grab one or two on your way down to the river.”
“Went here a couple days ago with family, and shared a plate of the jalapeño cheese bread. You get the same access to food options as the Mesquitery, which is nice if you don't want to sit on the restaurant side of the business.
The staff are really nice and friendly and we had a great time chatting with our bartender. Would highly recommend for a fun night out drinking with friends.
They also have a pool table set up in back for those who wish to play.
Parking: As it's the heights, it can be hard to find parking on the main roads depending on the day, but there is some good side street parking near by.”
“Divots Restaurant at Indian Creek is exceptional. The Szechuan salad with salmon was incredible, featuring perfectly crisp greens topped with tender, flavorful salmon that had just the right amount of spice, making me want to return for more. The onion rings were crispy and golden, exactly what I was craving.
The staff is truly wonderful. I can’t remember the name of our waiter (he was a tall guy with curly dark hair), but his recommendations and attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. The patio offers stunning views of the Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood, providing a beautiful backdrop for every bite.
Even if you don’t golf, I highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic meal, amazing service, and breathtaking scenery. You won’t regret it!”

“HIDDEN GEM! We stopped by to get some gas in Hood River and I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had a coffee shop inside! Taylor helped me. She was so friendly and fast! She really lived up to the saying on your cup, "coffee made with heart and served with a smile " Thanks for the great service! I had an iced horseshoe latte with white mocha and drizzle. It was delicious! Sweet as desired, but with a good balance of milk and coffee. I will definitely keep this place in mind when passing through this area again!”
“The perfect coffee shop! The barista is super friendly and helpful! The hand-crafted drinks taste like they are made with care, not just churned out of an assembly line. The breakfast burritos are fresh and delicious. The outdoor seating is lovely, but if you are in a hurry, it's easy to get in and out fast. Prices are very reasonable. Great place!”
“Wow!! Surprised by the awesomeness of this taco truck. Fresh. Great flavor. Great locale. Great price point. Definitely will be back.
I’m a local to the area, and this will be the go to for street tacos! Tried pollo, chorizo, carnitas, al pastor, and asada! Flavor was absolutely fantastic.
Location is on a bend in the road. Be prepared to turn.”
“Great little spot that most would drive right by. The one staff person was amazing. We had a big party of 8 and she handled everything from seating us, to drinks to cooking the food, and serving some of the best food we have had on our trip. An overall A+ experience with something for everyone from burgers and fries to fajitas and other authentic Hispanic dishes.”
“Amazing food and amazing people. Every time I’m in Hood River I come here. From drinks to desserts you will have an amazing experience. The owner makes amazing drinks and makes all his guests feel like they’ve been best friends for years. If you’re anywhere remotely near Hood River, you need to treat yourself to this place.”
“Great burgers. Friendly service. Live music! We love this place.”
“Highly recommend for a great atmosphere and great drinks. We enjoyed our evening on the patio next to the propane fireplace, drinking the special of the day, sharing a pizza (perfectly cooked) and listening to the live band”
“Wonderful unique drinks. Best nachos ever!!!!! The staff were so nice!!!”
“We love Ferment for its social flare, great beer, tasty food and the best view of the Columba River Gorge!”

“Food is consistent and cooked to order. A special shout out of appreciation to Tilly Jane’s as they will often get young teens in to grab a bite after school/before a game. The entire staff has always been gracious to the kids. Thank you for being welcoming to all ages (and for having a menu that even picky teens love).”

“I only go through the drive through but I like it here. They just opened up and had the interior re done and outside repainted and updated. Looks great. I wish taco bell kept the veggie burrito, I'd get it every time when they had it. I'm happy it's open again. Here is a picture of my cat watching me as I eat a cheesy bean and rice burrito”
