“A solid five stars! ⭐️ The ham was sliced so thin it melted in the mouth (made us wanting to buy a cutting machine). The Shishito peppers (a daily special) were perfectly grilled to perfection. The wines were both funky and delicious. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cool and relaxing. Absolutely nothing to complain, and we can’t wait to visit again!“

“There are Time Out Markets around the world, mainly in North America and Europe, and the Montreal location is no exception—it’s excellent. You’ll find a wide variety of restaurants and food types to choose from, all in a food-court style setting. The atmosphere is lively, and there are also bars serving drinks and cocktails.
Beyond the food, the market often hosts special events and guest chefs, so you can enjoy unique culinary experiences. Overall, a great spot for food lovers with plenty of options under one roof.
Do keep in mind that since it’s located downtown Montreal, parking can be a challenge. The easiest option is to use the indoor parking at the mall or other lots nearby, though some are less convenient.“

“Fantastic sourdough breads…olive walnut is a favorite, along with cinnamon and raisins…and all their monthly specials!! And the rosemary and sea salt focaccia which should be available all the time 😱😍. It’s not super convenient for me to go there, but I make the trip at least once or twice a month because the quality is superb. Kudos!“

“Mauvais service. Un pogo a glissé du petit panier faisant un dégât sur la table et sur mes vêtements. Quand j’ai signalé le problème, une des commis m’a passé un rouleau de papier pour que je nettoie le tout moi-même. Elle m’a offert de remplacer le pogo, ce que j’ai décliné. Dans n’importe quel bouie-bouie, on serait venu passer un linge humide, pas ici.“

“Delicious food & fantastic service!! Our server, Gustavo, was excellent!! Friendly, helpful, & served our food in a timely manner... The food was so good & delicious! We had the potato soup, with garlic cheese bread as an appetizer... Wow was that tasty! Then I had the salmon dinner & my husband had the pizza... Both meals were so yummy!! We will definitely come here again... one of our favorites now!“

“Exceptional food, tastefully presented. Our server, Eve, was very attentive without hovering. Not inexpensive but my wife and I thought a very good value for the quality of our dinners and service. For such a busy restaurant the noise level was quite subdued enabling us to have pleasant conversation. We've already booked our second dinner date there.“

“I got the pear chocolate swirl, just for the heck of it because I wanted some chocolate flavour, but the pear blew me away. It had real fresh pear, same with the vanilla mango-passion swirl. I normally don’t care about fruit ice cream, but these flavours were excellent. The soft serve is very creamy with no coconut taste even though it’s coconut flavoured.“

Dumplings are always good, either fried or steamed.
Noodles were fine when I tried, and in good quantity.

“Je tiens a préciser que nous avons eu de manière générale une expérience incroyable et je recommande fortement ce restaurant. Seulement nos 35 premières minutes n'ont pas été très agréables : Pour commencer nous avons attendu 25 mins que notre table soit prête. Pour un temps aussi long, sachant qu' il est spécifié que nous devons absolument arriver dans les 15 minutes suivant notre réservation, il aurait été apprécié de nous proposer une petite compensation tel un verre en attendant. De plus, un serveur est venu nous proposer du champagne, qui n'était pas inclus dans notre accord mets et vin. Nous avons eu le sentiment que nous étions obligés de le prendre et avons accepté a contre cœur. Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise quand nous avons vu que que le premier verre de notre accord était de nouveau un champagne ! Résultat, cette erreur de communication et pression nous a ajouté +100$ non utiles sur notre facture avec un ressenti qu'on cherchait naturellement a augmenter notre facture. Nous recommandons donc de ne pas choisir cette option. Heureusement le reste du repas a été tellement incroyable avec un service de haut niveau qui nous a fait oublier ce début désagréable. Notre serveuse était aux petits soins avec de nombreuses attentions, beaucoup d'expériences et animations, la nourriture exquise, mon conjoint a une petite bouteille huile au homard pour son anniversaire, et nous avons même pu faire un tour des cuisines et rencontrer le chef Jérôme Ferrer ! Notre opinion serait de faire la quantité du plat un peu plus importante tellement cela était bon. Mise a part le champagne je recommande fortement pour le passionnes de restauration gastronomique ! Comptez environ 800$ pour 2 personnes (TTC et service, hors champagne) Merci !“

“Went there twice and was pleasantly surprised. I had the vegan Vietnamese crepe the first time & the vegan soup the second time. It was delicious each time.
They have an open kitchen so you can see, hear, smell your good being made which is part of the experience.

“Tommy Café is a beautiful spot with a stylish two-floor interior that’s definitely worth seeing. However, it gets extremely crowded and personally, I didn’t enjoy the coffee. Still, it’s a nice place to visit at least once for the atmosphere.“

“The food was exceptional, EVERY bite was heavenly and you can tell that a lot of love, thought and great cooking is put into every dish served. BUT the real star was our server Kalina (forgive me if I spelled this wrong) she has curly hair, and adorable accent and she made sure every moment in there, we felt special, attended to, and heard. Kalina, you will remember us, the ladies toasting to Taylor Swift, and we love you!“
