We shared a grilled romain salad with a house dressing that was rich and laid on fresh burratta. There is some slight fusion going on like the brushetta with the Waygu beef, caramelized onions and the acid of the basalmic then the brine from caviar. It was a delightful bite. I was in recently on business and made my pilgrimage to Noon (an absolute must if you're in the area). Everything we ordered was fantastic. As we were leaving I noticed a radiant woman speaking to some just-seated patrons. I had a feeling... As we were walking out I asked if she was responsible for the food. Beaming, she said: :yes I made everything. I created the menu. This is my restaurant!". I told her that we enjoyed our meal profoundly and that we never come to Dallas without visiting her restaurant. I can't explain, but this lady had the sweetest smile and essentially a magical energy. I would be in weekly if I lived nearer. For the food of course, but also for the vibes. “I was at Dennys 8.7.24 at 7 to 8 something. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the dining room was clean. The problem came when I was ready to check out. We had a coupon that states if I spend $30, you can get $10 off. In regard to the coupon, it allowed me to be able give the $10 that I would save to the server. When I went to check out the coupon would NOT take. (Keep in mind, I just got this coupon on Sunday when I left Dennys.) She called a manager, and the manager stated that she was NOT able to use my coupon because it was expired. I asked could she honor the coupon because I just got the coupon on Sunday. She stated, NO. Then she said that we had coupons on our ticket already. We had 3 meals, and 2 kid's meals and kids eat free after 4 p.m. I explained that is not what the coupon stated. Then she looked at the other coupons, which was the same coupons. She proceeds to remove the box and said that they were all expired and kept my coupon as well. I had to pay regular price $35 to pay the bill. was not happy about that at all. Also, a couple behind me had the same exact problem. I waited around to make sure she didn't honor their coupon, and she didn't. Now we all left out disappointed because we spent more to honor the coupon, and it wasn't valid. :(”

This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!”

The pacing was leisurely, which is our preference although our last course took a bit longer than expected. Again the food was very nice but I wouldn't describe it as spectacular. I was a little surprised by the automatic 20% gratuity for a table of two. Not that the service did not deserve it, but, in my experience higher end restaurants do better by leaving it to the discretion of the diner. I would normally leave 25% but since they already included it I left it as it was. Overall, the restaurant was adequate for its pricing but I can't say I was wowed by it.”

“My partner and I came down to Dallas from OKC to celebrate our anniversary weekend. My partner has a severe gluten allergy so we always look for places that can accommodate that need. Our server, Matt, was incredible. He pointed out all the items that couldn’t be made gluten free. He answered all of our questions with confidence and clarity. We felt so comfortable with our selections. As for the food, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! You could have fooled me that it was gluten free (I know it was because I didn’t have to take my partner to the hospital)! Not only did the give us an amazing meal, but they brought out a special, gluten free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We also were given some gift cards as a thank you for celebrating our anniversary there. We will ABSOLUTELY be back next time when we’re in town, and I cannot recommend this place or Matt enough, whether you’re gluten intolerant or not.”

“I've eaten at alot of steak houses but YO Steakhouse is the BEST by far! The 6 oz. filet was cooked perfectly, the mushrooms and asparagus were delicious. We were there for a birthday celebration and Marcos Ruiz made us feel so special and cared for! The birthday girl received a card, a gift, and a phenomenal complimentary desert. The cocktails were perfectly made with a great pour that topped off the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is easy on the eyes and I appreciated there was a dress code. “The entire experience was unrivaled! From the time we arrived, the service was impeccable. The hostesses were pleasant and prompt. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. The dinnerware was sparkling. Once seated, our server was there in an instant and remained attentive throughout our dinner. The Market Table was filled with fresh dishes and sides. Who I assume to be the manager was floating around the dining room checking on patrons just to ensure everyone was enjoying their experience. The passadores/gauchos were on top of their game as well, keeping those decadent, grilled cuts of meat in quick circulation. By far, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.”

I was able to get a mocktail, my husband had a charred ribeye steak, I had roasted chicken and we tried charred broccolini (it wasnt for us but seasoned so well)! Ending with a Butterscotch creme Brulee! Our waitress was so kind, friendly and made us feel special. We can't thank her enough for the experience.”

“Came here the first time on a Saturday afternoon for a friends birthday dinner. We were upstairs near the bar. The menu by the bar is very limited which was disappointing. I ordered the ricotta dip to share, which was ok, but not enough for dinner, so I was going to order something else, but the waitress never came back. She was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. I will say the 2 drinks I had were great and the atmosphere was fun. We had a great time but I left hungry. My friend had a great time and that’s all that matters. I would like to come back and actually have a chance to eat from the dinner menu.”

“Very conflicted with this review. Went here for my birthday and booked the champagne room only to find out when we got there that the room wasn’t opened on mondays. For the amount of times they texted us prior to the reservation, you would think they would let us know we wouldn’t get the room we reserved. HOWEVER, our waitress Eris ( sorry if i misspelled ) was PHENOMENAL! every one of her recommendations was 10/10 and she truly saved the experience…. but then came the steak…. i ordered a medium and it was OVER they took it back and the manager came out to apologize and brought us some truffle friends while we waited - then the GM comes with our new steak and it’s UNDER… for this to be a steakhouse i found this to be incredibly disappointing but themanager then coming back to apologize and comping the steak tells us they really care about their brand the customer experience and for that i will still come back and would recommend to others -”

“Best (higher quality) Tex-Mex near SMU. New restaurant! Food was fantastic, ambience is fun and the place is clean.

Smoked brisket was super smokey and lean. Wagyu fajitas were delicious and memorable. Crispy tacos (deep fried!?!) were unique and amazing. Worth trying and returning for.

At breakfast we met Chef Ryan and he offered us the full menu. He is experienced, knowledgeable and kind. He even gave us a list of Dallas restaurant recommendations (but we returned here for dinner!).

We enjoyed no-alcohol strawberry margaritas and iced lattes from their coffee bar.

I highly recommend Los Charros and it is the closest and best place we found when visiting SMU. Would be terrific for larger parties too.

The fish was absolutely exceptional, from the quality, the color, and the taste.

Kay was an amazing hostess to us and never left our water glasses empty.

Ken was our sushi chef and he was a pro at crafting the sushi. He was funny and paid attention to what we enjoyed about each piece presented to us!

“Drinks are incredible here! You really can’t go wrong. Delmonico, Broken Quartz and Espresso Martini were a few of our favorites. And we loved the vibe of being in a train car, such a great idea/concept. Perfect for the size and space. Only downside is parking, I’d Uber here if possible, otherwise you may have to park and walk a little (but it’s really not a bad walk). Overall a lot of fun, it’s become a DFW “must” for us!”

“Peter is amazing! Pillar is our new favorite restaurant and Peter’s service is impeccable. He always takes the time to explain the specials, and is always happy to see us. We have tried so many fantastic new dishes on his suggestions. It is truly hard to order a bad dish here because the level of food is fabulous. We consistently bring new people to try Pillar, as we are sure of the quality and consistency. 10/10 would recommend!”

“This is a bit of a hidden gem off the Katy Trail located in the Terminal building. It’s a beautiful build out inside and a huge air conditioned porch that overlooks the trail. The food is French Asian. We had the duck which was great. It’s got a great option of appetizers and entires. Definitely recommend sharing family style. We will be back for the Peeking duck which they recommend for four people and that you mention you’d like it in your reservation at least 24 hours in advance. This can be hard to find on Google maps for some reason and parking is valet with a great app system for calling up your car and paying the valet.”

I like the extra patio in the back. The food is comparable to the original location. That means the food is very good. The pub was very clean and the service was great. I will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic doughnuts are an understatement! I think I’m just a sucker for a classic glazed doughnut because that was my favorite! The strawberry and croissant specialty doughnuts were good too but wouldn’t be my go to. It’s a nice clean space inside and the staff were knowledgeable about each flavor.”
