“Found this place on Google Maps in search for breakfast, and was surprised to find this Mexican-Japanese fusion restaurant !
I got the lux bagel and enjoyed it very much ! Very tasty and the meal presentation was spectacular . Menu is very interesting and will definitely come again to try out some of that fusion food 🔥

“Easy 5 stars. Genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Everything was incredibly fresh, and I loved that the dishes weren’t overloaded with sauces or unnecessary toppings, the quality of the fish really spoke for itself.

The salmon was buttery and melted in your mouth, the eel was warm, rich and perfectly glazed, and even the cucumber salad was ridiculously good. And if you go, definitely try the fatty tuna, highly recommend it!

This is one of those places that makes it hard to enjoy average sushi afterward. 😂 Already looking forward to going back.“

Of all the places I've been for omakase in LA I'd say this is the best bang for your buck especially if you go for lunch during the weekdays. You won't be disappointed. It's located in Weller Court and many folks go to sushi gen and other spots but this place is so fresh and the service is wonderful. Also very quiet inside.“

“I came across this sushi bar by accident! I was trying to go eat Mexican food a couple doors down and they were closed. What a fabulous surprise. The sushi is super fresh. “We were greeted at the door, and given complimentary miso soup with our order. We got six different Yubu (buy five get one free). They were FANTASTIC. The torched salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a little fishy, but overall they were very good. Bulgogi and King Yubu were overall favorites.“

“Been here many times before, mostly weekdays during lunch hours, never knew they get so busy on weekends. But lines moved quickly, plenty of various prepared takeout sushis in the cold storage areas. Regular customers often recommend food items to try for newbies. Overall, a pleasant place for fresh sushis.“

“I found Temaki Society after the iHeart R&B concert because it happened to be nearby, and the concept looked different enough that we decided to stop in. It's located inside The Grayson, so at first it feels like you're walking into a bar, but the temaki counter is right in the front.

The ordering process is easy. You seat yourself, grab your own water, and they bring the food out. One thing I really like is that each hand roll comes with the plastic separator that keeps the seaweed crisp until you're ready to eat it.

The first time I came, we ordered a set of five so we could try a variety. This most recent visit, I came back specifically for the Cut with caviar, uni, and toro. Definitely on the pricey side, but look at the quality they give you. It was delicious.

The staff has always been nice, service is quick, and you toss your wrappers into the little trash bins at your seat. If you want good hand rolls Downtown and something different from the usual Grand Central Market stops, I'm a fan. I'd definitely come back.“

“Seabutter, in the heart of Glendale lies this sushi restaurant that is a masterpiece. It is right next to Americana, sadly it has horrible parking but near places like Shake Shack, bourbon steak, In-n-Out, Capital One cafe, BJ’s brewhouse, and I’m quite sure a Starbucks as well Joe & The Juice literally next door.

Every sushi is fresh and tastes delicious, the atmosphere is like you’re a Roman patrician arriving at his Villa where his luxurious life is. It doesn’t look so fancy, but it feels comfy. There’s no trash nor dirt on the floor just clean and has a nice modern look.

The service here is very quick, the wait time is non-existent and the staff are very kind-hearted and quick with orders. When we come here, we are usually give On the house meals which is nice. There’s also a bar area and you can watch them make your sushi!

The food here is the spotlight in the show, it is the best sushi I have ate in my whole entire lifetime as well my whole bloodline. The sushi here is fresh delicious and it’s nice. I showed pictures of non-sushi items like Chicken Teriyaki, and Garlic Edamani, but most of the pictures are just sushi.

In the end, after coming here 50+ times I can agree this is the best sushi place I will ever touch on earth. If there was sushi in heaven, Seabutter will be there.

They also have another restaurant place called The Bar which I will review one day. But other from that, this place is a must-go and is very underrated and overlooked.

PS: before you go here, the parking is absolute garbage due to Americano and other popular places!

““Oh wow” the first words that I could come up with when my wife asked me how the food was.
We ordered: Japanese ceviche, Y-not roll, Salmon roll, California roll, yellowtail sushi and halibut sushi.
Everything was absolutely fantastic, fresh and full of flavor.
I highly recommend the yellowtail sushi if you want raw sushi
I recommend the y-not roll if you want a specialty roll, it is a little spicy so beware.
If you want to try something new we recommend the Japanese ceviche, it has the perfect mix of sweet and salty.
Overall you could tell the fish are fresh and not old mush, and even the plating of every dish was admirable.
The service is also fantastic, we were checked on regularly by our servers, had all of our questions answered and even got solid recommendations.
This place is definitely worth traveling for, decent prices too!“

Modern style design that’s chic and comfortable at the same time. We ordered the Wagyu Cheeseburger and Uni Pasta. Both of the dishes were good with flavor but the Uni pasta could’ve used a little more sauce but it’s a preference I guess. The cheeseburger came out looking like a hot mess but it delivered with flavor. The Basqu Cheesecake was the dessert we ordered and it was perfect with flavor and the presentation. Service was attentive and on point most of the time. So if you’re looking for a nice place to have a delicious bite or drinks then definitely check out this place, especially the gorgeous looking bar.“
