“Best masa I’ve had on the west coast. They grind the corn flour right there and make every single taco fresh each order. There divine fresh homemade hot sauces! The al pastor was excellent - flavorful, juicy, and even lean! FWIW, I have a sensitive tummy to high acid and high fat foods, and I had no problems what so ever. My bf has zero stomach issues and also thought it was divine. Even the sangria was creative, thoughtfully crafted, and delicious. Going back!“

“The surf and turf burrito is well worth the hype here. All of the cocktails are delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Playa has a great atmosphere inside and a back patio. Good clean classic Hispanic favorites like the carnitas plate, all kinds of tacos, and various plates. My only feedback…$19 for chips and guac…cmon guys. We are definitely regulars here. “My girlfriend is celiac, as well as allergic to dairy and most meats. The owner came over and went through all of her allergies and guaranteed they would all be covered with no cross contamination in the kitchen. He recommended a few dishes for us and it was truly the best Indian food we've ever had, all with being gluten-free and dairy free. We'd be very regular customers if we weren't just in town visiting.“

“Looking for a coffee to go in the area we ended up in shoreline coffee shop. As we were walking towards the Cafe we preceived the aromas of the food coming to us and inviting us to stay and eat. The food was good and freshly cooked. It's a traditional breakfast place. It was sunny enough to sit outside. Coffee was good.“

It was delicious and packed with meat. The salsa which came with our chips was also fresh and tasty. As good as the burrito was, it paled in comparison to the service we received. "Leo" is an energetic and hospitable worker and we later found out that he is the owner. What a genuinely nice person! We will definitely make this a regular stop when we're in the neighborhood. The flavors were balanced and savory but it lacked in spice for someone who really enjoys spicy (and it was extra spicy they said).For me it beats something like Chipotle in flavor and price. “My first visit to Mi Pueblo, but it's a favorite of many friends. One taste of the green salsa and chips while waiting for my order and I knew why. I ordered a chimichanga with carnitas. I had seen photos of it before ordering, but was not prepared for how big it is. Easily 2 pounds and I could only eat half. Plus a horchata. Last chimichangas I had were fried crispy. This was soft like regular burrito. But the flavors of the ingredients and toppings were all first class. I particularly liked the red chile sauce that covered the dish. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. I'm looking forward to visit again to try tacos and enchiladas.“

“I recently moved from Texas and my neighbor recommended Lucinda's to me. I went for the first time and the staff was very kind, they helped me figure out what to try for my first time. I ordered a taco and a carnitas burrito with guac it was super delicious the tortilla was nice and crisp. The places from Texas can't compare if i'm being honest. The only things were that there wasn't a lot of parking because of how busy it gets and the salsa wasn't too spicy but there was still flavor and it didn't matter because the food was still good. I will absolutely be going back.“

The staff was super friendly and they even gave our kids crayons/activities.The food was excellent. Special shout out to Maribel, last time I was there there was a dude in the restaurant who was absolutely unhinged and angry and yelling and cursing (specifically at Maribel) which was completely unwarranted and even still she kept a smile on her face for everyone else in the restaurant and drive through. “I wanted to give this place 5 stars. The service was great when I came in they greeted me and the order went fast and the food came out fast. But the carne asada tacos weren’t as good as the place I usually go to. The meat wasn’t seasoned very well and it just had onions and very little cilantro on each. They didn’t add much to the meat in each taco, and each taco is pretty small. The atmosphere, specifically the music, is really good. However if I were to come here again I would probably spend a little more and get an entree plate or burrito or something a bit bigger and more filling, now that I know the tacos are on the small side.“

“I dgaf about ambiance in a Mexican restaurant. Not part of the category. Looks like a hole in the wall, but its got places to sit and they play mariachi. The food is really good. So far I've only had burritos and a bite of a taco. I am a huge HUGE fan of their pastor super burrito. The pastor is awesome. The chicken was still really good but less good (imo) comparatively, but that's probably because it's not as fatty & delicious. The taco was a chicken taco and it was well done, too. Pretty basic in terms of primary ingredients, but the chicken is marinated well. They don't try to be anything but what they're supposed to be. But they do it well. Best burrito in San Rafael if you're looking for what the kids call Mexican food.“
