“Paige was an amazing server, she continually checked on our party and made sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, the Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger was THA BOMB! Although the burger could have been cooked just a bit longer, but it was delicious and the bacon was flavorful. Thanks, Paige, for your service, it was impeccable! Hope we have the pleasure of having you serve us again!

“Tried this place for the first time, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been wanting to check them out, and they did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back—the flavors were amazing, and the portions were generous. The white sauce and spicy sauce were both incredible! I had the chicken bowl, and it was absolutely to die for. The mac salad was delicious, not too heavy, just right. I also tried the chicken tenders—super crispy and made with real chicken, though a bit on the salty side. Overall, a great experience!”
“Want to share my experience here food is awesome had the Louis burger combo and i was fully satisfied freshly made burger size is what u expect fills u up pretty good. Taste was absolutely delicious fully recommend this place if u in town or craving for some great quality food.”
“Had a DELICIOUS 🤤 😋 breakfast with my dear friend!! I love you girl! 🥰🌸😘. AV FRIENDS!!! I highly recommend this cafe, not only for its excellent food, and affordable pricing, but for its outstanding customer service! They did not disappoint! I don’t think my coffee cup ever made it halfway, empty! I had the apple, pumpkin pecan French toast. Drooooool worthy!!!! Breakfast and lunch only. 💛💛💛💛💛”

“Lately, I've been checking out all the fried chicken spots, and this time, I found one after work. It's open almost every day until 11pm. The staff was truly friendly, the food looked good and tasted awesome, and the prices were, to my opinion, fair. I got the double slider with fries and what seemed to me like a street corn on the cob. The fries were fat and crispy. The chicken in the sliders was awesome. Personally, I always prefer some toastyness on my bun, whether it's a sandwich or a burger. Definitely stop by and have a bite! I almost forgot one of the best things!...they make some awesome homemade lemonades! I tried the strawberry (I wish I had ordered a jug!) and I also tried the raspberry. Great combo for the food! Try it!”

“The food here is truly top-notch. I've gotten the chicken kaarage and chicken teriyaki bento box so many times it's difficult to count at this point. The food is always just so good, and their gyozas are out of this world. The macaroni salad on the side is also pretty nice. Overall, pretty good food.”
“Excellent Taiwanese bubble tea chain with good quality tea made with good quality ingredients (think organic milk, vegan milk, cane sugar, and other natural ingredients). Many establishments use premade flavored powders to create your bubble tea. As far as I know Raretea does not do this. The staff are polite and thoughtful (like most workers in Taiwan and Japan) and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I've had the Hokkaido Milk Tea and Coffee Milk Tea so far. Both are delicious. Coffee Milk Tea was a surprise as most bubble shops don't make good coffee but this was great.Be aware that they don't use as much sugar as other bubble tea shops, so 50% sweetness will taste more like 20% sweetness. If you're looking for a more "grown up" version of bubble tea that is better for your health without compromising flavor, this is the place to visit. Rartetea is truly a rare gem!”
“My Wife and I went here and will say the people are super friendly, and even the customers were easy to talk too. We have gone back twice now and just feel very relaxed there and the prices are the best in town...Highly recommend this place.”
“Zelda’s 750 West is my new favorite spot! Chef Karen is doing her THANG in the kitchen and everyone one on staff is A1. If you are in the AV area looking for an upscale restaurant that allows you to come as you are look no further. At first glance the menu might seem a little basic with just wings and pizza but ba-beeeeeeeeee let me tell you something, we ordered three different types of pizza and each of them were FIRE 🔥. You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients down to the dough. The garlic parmesan wings were fried just right and had a good flavor. The ambience was a vibe for sure from the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory gates that surrounded the patio entrance to the private room in the back where we celebrated my sisters birthday. If you haven’t done so already go check them out, I promise it will be worth it!”

“You did it again!!!! My husband and I went last night on taco Tuesday and of course, I had to have the chicken, pork and asada street tacos and hubby had the brilla tacos with the dipping sause. I must, say everything was exceptional! They even give you this bean dip when you first arrive with salsa that was so fire!!!!! Shout out to Bernie. He is truly a wonderful guy and very friendly.”

“I f-king love real wasabi. It absolutely beats the pants off that super green horseradish paste every single time. And guess what folks? This is the place you’ll find it. Legit. I sat down and asked for uni, my go to, then for Otoro, the love of my life. Neither were to be found this night, but I discovered something more. After pouring a beer at the bar, I filled out the usual form, mostly chose the usual things, and sent a beer to the chef as well. He casually asked if I’d prefer to skip the menu and just let him cook, I obliged. This man wants be a legend, he wants to be remembered for something great, his passion burning fierce as his hands move the blade, steady and focused, slice, rice, squeeze, plate, sauce. All so meticulous, formless without form, thoughtful without thought. The plates were handed over the bar, 2 pieces at a time, art work for the senses and the mind, fortune fame jealousy and lust over steamed rice from tattooed forearms. Indulgence. The heat of a smooth beer buzz rising through my veins, an ode to Ichiban and a prayer to the gods who hold reverence for spirits, as the tuna hit my plate while he shucked an oyster behind the bar. These moments are treasured, yet lost, as the curse of being in the moment itself is fleeting. As per the usual when you see a chef coat, don’t ask for a menu, instead be bold, be curious, and ask for creativity. Two thumbs my guy. Smoke. Cook. Eat.”

“Ordering on their QR code app at the table makes things quick and efficient. We had kung pao chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, and lo mein. Everything tasted and looked fresh, and very yummy! The inside was quiet, clean, nice vibe, and good temperature. We asked for adding spice to 2 items and they did it without fail. Friendly waiter and waitress who brought food and cleaned table quickly. Great place and service, will be back 👌🏾”
“I have been here on multiple occasions and I must say the food is amazing... I was a little skeptical at first because of the restaurants location and the outside. I was pleased when I actually went inside, the restaurant was nice and clean. Their macaroni salad is amazing, also on one occasion I ordered the Katsu chicken and it was cold when I received it. I explained that it was for my kids and if they had somewhere to heat it because I didn’t want to serve it to them cold. They were actually really friendly about the situation and I handed the plate back and they remade the chicken. I was pleased the way they handled my situation and always with a polite understanding attitude. Will be back.”
“I truly like this place for Salvadorian breakfast. Food has never disappointed me. Service has alway been good. I can’t really complain about this place. The owner is very friendly and attentive, communicates well and food what can I say but delicious to look at and taste. My hubby loves this place and I too. I highly recommend it. Maybe just one minor thing sometimes the music is a bit loud.”
“The pizza is soo good freshly made . Definitely recommend and will be going again!!”
“An amazing little jewel of a resturant. The chef's choice Sashimi was delicious, both scallop and spicy scallop sushi were awesome and all of the tako tasted great. Very creative fresh, fried, and baked rolls and a nice atmosphere with talkative chefs! Try the Candy roll for a delicious fresh roll or the Rattlesnake for a fried bite with a crispy finish!”

“Definitely had a good experience this morning. Completely messed up my mobile order on the app and Alfred and Katelyn resolved it without giving me issues and accommodated my request. Came in a little worried I wasted my money on the wrong order I didn’t and left a satisfied customer 👍🏽”
“I usually use the drive-thru. I have always had excellent service ordering, even though I frequently ask a variety of questions. They genuinely seem to have personality, meaning they are personable? And gracious when I ask a question. And yes, I try to be quick, especially if someone pulls up behind me. Which makes the employee that much more appreciated for their knowledgeable and quick answers! Thanks to the staff at 50th Street West and Avenue N.”
“I forgot to take a picture. What I ordered was the 6 dollar all you can eat 🥞 pancakes. I was really hungry and thought I could do a second helping! Well, was I in for a surprise 😁 Those 3 pancakes 🥞 were Huge! The pancakes were nice, fluffy 😋 and tasty. Defeated by the Huge, delicious pancakes and hot chocolate. I was ready to leave. Now, this Denny's also accepts AARP. Unfortunately, for me I could not find my AARP card. The waitresses were very helpful helping me to look for my card that Thursday morning. Anyway, when I went home. I found my card fell into the bottom of my 🛍️ bag. Very 👍 nice staff.

“When I visited seen a man that seemed to be down in his luck and short on cash for his meal so I offerd to pat for whatever he wants.. we ordered and when it came time to pay the cashier seen what I did and took it upan himself and only charged me for 1 of the 3 sandwiches that were orderd. Do good and good shall be done on you always good food also..”
“The food is pretty good, though on rare occasions I find one of my items lacking in terms of fillings (inside of the burritos, tacos, and etc.). The employees are very friendly and welcoming for the ones I have meet. They have a relevantly big dining area, but sadly it is not as kept up as I would wish it to be and because it's not in the best area, on rare occasions, some unsavory people may show up. I know this is not the restaurants fault, but it does ruin the experience. None the less, I will still come by for a quick bite when I can :)”
Takeout Restaurants
“I discovered Rancheritas Mexican Grill a few years ago, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. Their Carnitas are hands down the best in town—if you’re a fan of perfectly cooked, flavorful pork, you have to try them mixed for the full experience. What really sets this place apart is the hand-made tortillas, which bring that authentic, homemade touch to every meal. Plus, knowing that the owner is one of the cooks means there’s an extra level of care and pride put into every dish, and you can taste the difference.
While there’s no table service—it's a casual walk-in, order-at-the-counter kind of place—don’t let that fool you. The food more than makes up for the simple setup. Once your order is ready, they’ll call your name, and you can dive into some of the best Mexican food around. If you appreciate quality, authenticity, and a personal touch in your food, Rancheritas is a spot you’ll want to keep coming back to!”

“I really liked this place. It had a great selection of wines and very friendly helpful service. Good selection of entrees. I would like to see an expanded menu. I would certainly visit again. Nice for brunch.”

“Looked for Thai food with vegetarian options and Thai cafe was perfect. Tofu, veggies, mock chicken and duck are all options. We had the Thai salad, spicey vegetarian noodles with mock chicken, and the yellow vegetarian curry with mock chicken- all were extremely delicious!
Vegetarian options: Mock meats and tofu available as proteins. Entire vegetarian section of menu”
“I loved everything about this place. I ordered 15 minutes before they closed and the food was still amazing customer service was a 10. My family of four ordered 2 chicken and beef large bowls, beef loaded fries, noodles, and crunch sushi roll. I’ll definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be back for more❤️”
“Been coming to this Restaurant since I was 9 from what I can remember. Still in the same spot, food STILL amazing! Listening to the owner talk about the decline in the area is absolutely heartbreaking. Hearing him talk about the potential of shutting down because of the issues after nearly 40 years in insane. I really hope this state, county and Local governments pull their shit together soon. Roca del Mar in Lancaster will forever have 5 stars in my book. Hopefully I can keep coming back here when I visit for years to come.”
“Wheelchair accessibility: If you don't mind a dirt parking lot and a friendly fast moving line of hungry folks from all walks of life this is your Mexican food spot ...it reminds me of a good no great hole in the wall small restaurant I remember growing up going to in my youthful days...do yourselves a Huge favor and your mouth give these folks a try”
“Kyle was amazing. We had a blast celebrating my daughters birthday. The food was cooked to our liking and the service was on point. Kyle was an absolute blast and entertained beyond expectation. Thank you Kyle for the effort and the laughs. If your looking for a place to enjoy a relaxing and entertaining meal, you’ll be pleased with this place. If your looking for a black tie affair your an idiot to post something negative about this place because this isn’t and never has been that type of restaurant. I see some reviews on here that are just wrong on so many levels. This is by far an entertaining and enjoyable place to spend an evening with friends and family. Moses is another great chef that does a great job and has been there for a long time. We have enjoyed so many occasions at Tokyo steak house and they have always been great food and good service. I have been going to this place for almost 30 years and I have never been disappointed. Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to the chefs that make it just over the top fun.”

“This diner is a solid 4.5 of 5 as far as diners go. Twice I've eaten breakfast foods here and both times the restaurant was spotless and the staff was super friendly. This is a text book diner with all of the typical foods. My eggs were cooked correctly and the regular hash browns were browned on both sides making them steaming hot in the middle. It's the cleanliness and consistent food and service that really makes this place shine, well done!”
“First time going since it was Casita Lopez. Decorations and ambience are the same. I was hoping to meet the new owner, but he wasn't on shift today. The service was fast and polite, exactly what I would've expected in previous visits! The food is satisfyingly tasty, albeit not very authentic. The menu is essentially the same as before, but everything is prepared differently: ingredients, portions, etc. 5 stars, definitely recommend!”
“Not only is it a good feeling to build a bond with your local people but to have good people making doughnuts is 5 stars in my book
Parking: Big spacious and convenient for front door access
Kid-friendliness: Very sweet people employed there that know how to communicate with the youth
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy and convenient”
“Great food, feels like Raising Canes but with extra spice and pickles. Honestly had a better experience with Daves than Raising Canes. The fries felt a bit soft but still good with the sauce by its side. Make sure to get extra sauce if you can but. Double check though as we ordered a large sauce but received a regular sized one instead. No big deal but it happens.”
“As always, the food is good. I'd like to see a little improvement on the service. I have a particular hang up when all the tables are high tops because I prefer a low top. Always worth coming back for more here”
“The 3 meat is where it's at, you get your choice of brisket, TRI tip, links or ribs with 2 sides.BBQ is cooked to perfection but sides are the weakest part. Prices are a lil high but I'd pay it again gladly.”

“Best donuts in the AV. I go there quite often and I love this donut shop. It always feels very "homey" and the regulars that hang out there are the best. I can not recommend any one donut in particular because they are all fantastic! Prices aren''t bad either. Definitely give this little shop 5 stars!”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! LIVED OFF THEM WHILE STAYING WITH SISTER ,WALKED OVER SOMETIMES, I MISS THEM SO MUCH!!!! MY GERMAN UNCLE WAS A BAKER, AND THEY ARE AD GOOD!!! IM GONNA CALL AND ADK IF THEY'LL SHIP ME SOME BAKED GOODS. TRUST ME, THE RETIRED NAVY GUYS BEEN GOING HERE FOR 40 YEARS, YOU KNOW ITS GOOD!!!!!”
“Attended another concert at the lovely lpac tonight. Been going there for a little over 24 years. In fact I was on the construction crew that built the place. That however is of no use when trying to get a decent seat. Time after time I have paid for a front row seat, second row seat, or even third row center only to find that the eight rows in front of me that magically were added to the venue by removing part of the stage I guess had been pre-reserved for RX Paris any member of City council any local businessman or anybody with more juice or money than I have. What do you have to do to get an actual front row seat at this place? Do I have to go to City Hall and genuflect and kiss the Ring? This is the type of capitalistic secret payoff crap that has existed in Lancaster for years. I'm done. I'll go back to driving to LA to see something if I want to”

“Chick-fil-A offers undeniably great food with consistently high-quality service. Their chicken sandwiches are iconic, the waffle fries are perfectly crispy, and the sauces are so good they deserve their own fan base. The staff is polite and efficient, making dining in or going through the drive-thru a pleasant experience. However, their overt religious stance can feel like it overshadows the business at times. The most obvious example is being closed on Sundays, which can be frustrating when you’re craving a chicken sandwich or planning a Sunday event. While their right to close is entirely understandable, it feels like a missed opportunity for both customers and their employees who might want the chance to work. In the end, the food and service are excellent, but their religious-driven business decisions can sometimes be a drawback for those who value convenience.”
