“I have been going there since middle school, and every day when I get out of school, the first thing I do is go to the teriyaki (after that, it changed to super teriyaki), honestly. The food was amazing, what I remember. There's one lady who has known me for over 9 years and sees me coming to pick up or order food. to eat, knowing how much I love this restaurant. I know it can be overpriced, but I surely love the food.“

“Bento boxes are of great quality here. The attention to detail of this curated meal definitely lets your eyes feast first. All the little sides taste amazing, especially the candied sweet potatoes. The vegetables alternate between sweet and salty to balance out the meal. The Scottish salmon and mackerel are cooked to perfection. The little yolk in the rice also adds a nice touch to mix in and eat.“

He even gave us his honest opinions on a lot of stuff which helped spend the best money on Chubby Cattle. I highly recommend coming here for the food, since all the meat was super good, cooked tenderly by the cooks if it comes pre cooked, the prices are good, and especially, coming here for our server Kevin.“

“The tuna and salmon sushi rolls that Te and Lisa served me this evening were absolutely fantastic. The fish was fresh and perfectly seasoned, had firm texture, and was expertly sliced. The sushi rice and vegetables in the roll were tasty. Te and Lisa kindly explained my sushi roll options and obviously put their heart and soul into make awesome rolls for me. “This place was delicious! My boyfriend always comes here and it never disappoints. This was my first time here and I have nothing bad to say , the food was very flavorful and fresh . I got the Cajun plate my bf got the coco tempura roll along with a California roll . They have self served sauces on the side which are very good as well. The dining area is clean and pretty spacious the tables come with sriracha and soy along with utensils and napkins. Over all it was a great meal , I recommend.“

Service was good but it was really hot inside and the propped door just wafted in pot smoke from outside. Didn’t see any off-street parking but it’s only steps from the little Tokyo metro station which makes it easy to get there without a car, something Angelenos could learn a thing or two about.“

We got the special and regular omakase, and the special is absolutely worth the extra $20 because it comes with an amazing toro collar and tiramisu, along with more sushi, soup, and a carpaccio. “A friend who frequents this establishment brought me for lunch today with another friend. Being a vegetarian I was impressed by the selections I would love to try. I ended up ordering the salmon, scallop, spinach cream pasta with capers. It was delicious! My friends ordered the pork katsu and hamburger combo and it looked awesome. The portions are so generous and it comes with soup and salad for the combo and mine came with a small salad and homemade bread. “Really liked this place. It offers quick prep moderately priced sushi that tastes good for moderately priced sushi. The only weakness was the shrimp nigari which was skimpy on the shrimp. My meal included miso soup, salad and roll, wrap & funnel sushi. I had 2 bites of the roll and drank some soup before I took the picture. I was hungry!“
