“Number one I’m a huge Vietnamese food fan growing up in Seattle I got to eat it all the time and I absolutely love this place they’ve done so well to make the food convenient and easy and it’s perfect to enjoy outside. I had to of course had to have the pho with beef and tendon it was the number two on the menu I was greeted immediately and by the way everybody is very friendly, even the interior of the restaurant makes me excited for the days when we can actually go back inside again. They kept everything very clean sanitizers available at the front desk if you want good cheap food then you need to come here this place is beautiful they’re working very hard I am coming back!! One thing I love is to get the extra peppers of course in hot weather that’s not desirable but vitamin C and healthy content load up the bean sprouts let the broth soak in through the super mouth watering I’m going to try many other items on the menu!“

“The food here is pretty good. We ordered Pho, sandwich, chicken egg rolls and vermicelli. Take awhile for the food to come out but it’s worth it. Chicken egg rolls are surprisingly taste very like pork egg rolls. Recommend this place if you want to try Vietnamese food in Little Tokyo.“

“I've been visiting this hidden gem for over a decade, and I can confidently say that their bánh mì remains some of the best I’ve ever had in Chinatown! The #1 option with cold cuts and Vietnamese-style meatloaf is incredibly flavorful. I might be mistaken, but I detect a lovely smoky note that elevates the entire sandwich.
The bread is truly exceptional—fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly crunchy on the outside. It’s the ideal baguette to complement the vibrant fillings. “Sister's cafe is a lovely place, where one can reliably get good food, no matter when you come. We've been going there for years now and have never been disappointed.

Staff is super friendly and the best of all, it's actually still affordable compared to the majority of places around LA.

They close a bit early, so I recommend to make sure to arrive no later than 8 pm. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! Can't go wrong.

This is a perfect place to enjoy dinner out during the work week and not go broke while doing it.

“The food is excellent but they have an 18% dine in fee on top of their already expensive menu. So yes, a bowl of pho is 30 dollars which is insane since there’s not a ton of service and the restaurant looks a bit run down / not aesthetically good. I asked him to remove the mandatory service charge and he said if he did, he would have to pay it out of his own pocket which is wild. Idk it’s kinda strange, but the soup was really delicious.“

“It’s a simple pho restaurant with neat interior.The food was what I would expect from a pho place. Broth was good, Ingredients were fresh. Their Thai ice tea was also decent (- little watery but not too bad). There was a lot of room in the restaurant. Service wasn’t anything special… the server wasn’t mean but not nice either.I don’t know, it was good but nothing special…Parking is valet only $3. I might come back if I have a craving and it’s close by but nothing made me think that it was my new and only pho place.

“First review - absolute gem of a restaurant.
Clean, luminous, good service but especially fresh and delicious food.
Pho is made with love, and you can taste its heartiness. Special Banh Mi is delicious, fresh baguette bread, freshly pickled vegetables and deliciously marinated meats.
Even the teas are a delight!

A true diamond in the rough. I recommend to anyone that enjoys good Vietnamese food. Cheers“

“Nong La has a dedicated Canto Viet man diligently directing the back of the house day in and day out, making sure the food hits their level of comfortable consistent cuisine, which won’t exactly blow minds or taste buds, but fills an exotic unfamiliar question mark into a manageable modern meal. But there’s this really Skinny Canto Viet lady bossing a bunch of diverse ppl around… she’s kinda scary at times and fiery at times… I suspect Nong La (Nong La means Burning) was named after the hot heat came from her own… hot… …..!😉🤓🔥🥵)“

Servers very nice and attentive but didn't have same taste (recomendations). We ordered the spicy tonkatsu and the another 3rd infantry division spicy soup, and the octopus balls. The food is great. Love the individual hotpot. Yet, I prefer more traditional hotpot without hotdogs, cheese, and spam. I will never order that 3rd infantry division soup, LoL. But definitely the tonkotsu one. I recomend this place.“

“The best thing going on at this place definitely has to be the atmosphere! DiDi is just a really vibey place with dim lights and great decor. The food was good, too of course. All family style so definitely great for a group of four or more. I loved the fried shrimp, which was nicely fried, savory and sweet. For entrees, the garlic crab noodles and fried rice were really good too. The fish sauce chicken wings could’ve been better, though, as they were a bit salty. Oh, and definitely don’t skip on the veggies! They were nicely seasoned and fresh— an integral part of a meal that would’ve otherwise been only meat and carbs! Good place for a special event.“

“The Pho is enough for 2 people and it's delicious! We have had both the chicken and the Wagu beef. Also, the rice plates with fried rice and either Wagu beef or spicy pork is really good. “My experience at Spire 73 was far from impressive. While the view was stunning, the overall service and quality left much to be desired. The evening started off on a disappointing note as it was quite cold, and though they provided blankets, it was still uncomfortable. My fiancé and I ordered appetizers, but they took an unreasonably long time to arrive. In the meantime, our drinks felt watered down, lacking both flavor and strength. To make matters worse, our burgers were nearly served before our appetizers, indicating a clear lack of coordination in the kitchen. When the staff realized their mistake, they held the burgers under a heat lamp, which only compromised their quality. By the time we finally received them, they were lukewarm and lacked freshness. The final frustration came when the bill arrived. For a party of two, an automatic 18% gratuity was added—something I find completely unreasonable given the level of service provided. It felt like an undeserved charge rather than a token of appreciation for good service. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I left feeling that the atmosphere and view were the only redeeming qualities. With subpar food, slow service, and unjustified charges, I wouldn't recommend Spire 73 to anyone expecting a high-quality dining experience.“

“My partner and I came by spontaneously when we were out. I got the vegetarian rice dish and my partner got the chicken Bahn mi. The tofu in my dish was some of the best seasoned, best cooked tofu I've ever had, and to quote my partner through a very full mouth, "I've had Bahn mis that are pretty meh, but this is absolutely fire."

“I’ve been to Thailand several times and it’s one of my favorite places in the world...mainly because of the food!!!! I ordered the vegetable soup and it satisfied my cravings I’ve had these cold LA nights!!!! Also ordered off menu, a pork omelette...and it was just like in Thailand!!
