“The best place for a foodie !! Mom and I had a blast!! She ate the Governor Tacos I had the Black Tide. I ordered the Hibiscus taco and the Mushroom taco from the vegan section. Mom LOVED the tacos. The flavors vibed delectably. The Black Tide was fresh, firey, the mango and apple with the shrimp was diced to perfection. The vegan tacos were amazingly delicious. The Hibiscus was dipped in the dark sauce. WOW!!! The blue tortilla was a bonus. It was so romantically blended. There is something about Hibiscus ?. The mushroom taco blended perfectly with the dark sauce. The limonade was just right. What a spectacular lunch. See you next time.”

“The place was super busy and you can easily tell that the place was WAY understaffed to accommodate the business. With that said, the entire staff was amazing and were super friendly while taking care of everyone who was ready to feast along with the crowd who was waiting to sit. They even had a moment to answer stupid questions from me being from out of town wanting a seafood fix.

Owners: please praise these folks and add some bonuses to their paycheck! They aren't getting paid what they are worth and I’d love to pay their expenses to come work for me in another state to continue their magic. Also, please add a non-butter based sauce in an effort to accommodate diet restrictions and better flavor profiles like competitors.”

“Last week we took my mother for her 70th birthday to Los Amores de Julia. We were visiting from Seattle, and went in just based on pictures and reviews. I can’t tell how amazing our visit was: from the beautiful atmosphere when we walked in; to friendly staff; to delicious cocktails and dinner; to a surprise special birthday song with a sombrero, a serape, a light show, and a flan being kissed with the torch right in front of us to give it a lovely crunch as a crème brûlée has. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and served the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had. Thank you, Los Amores de Mexico, for a perfect evening of celebration for our family.”

“I want to start by saying that I am a Carne Asada critic. Almost every place you might order Carne Asada is serving you a cheap version of thinly chopped cheap steak. Carne Asada is ONLY, Flank Or Skirt steak. End of sentence, period. That said, this place has the best tasting Carne Asada in my area and that goes for East LA as well. It is not skirt or flank but it is the best tasting I’ve had in a very long time. I will come back for the CA burrito at least 2 times a week. My new Favorite place👍👍👍👍🥩”

“Came on a Monday at noon and all seating was taken up along with there being a line. Love to see it. No old ingredients sitting around when you're cranking out food at that rate.

Eat here if you like Mexican food. I pray it never ever changes. This places energy, environment, patrons, employees and most importantly the food are all just amazing. It reminds me of the best part of every Mex spot I ate at in LA county growing up in the 90s. It's straight forward honest eats, large portions and extremely flavorful. And I hope it lasts forever!”

“Found this hidden pho spot in Pico Rivera and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a small restaurant but very clean with a fresh, modern vibe and trendy music. Everything looks new, which made the experience even better.

The server was attentive at the start, though he didn’t come back to check if we needed additional refills. The dumplings were on the smaller side and a bit pricey, but they were packed with flavor and definitely worth trying. The pho itself was hot, delicious, and very satisfying.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. This place is worth checking out if you’re in the area!”
