“If you're looking for a delicious classic Hispanic Diner this is the spot. Fresh Cafe de olla, delicious menudo and pozole, the flavor packed chilaquiles (my favorite are the red ones) and other great classics. This is a must when in the area. The kids pancake breakfast comes in the shape of Mickey mouse but without all the extra sugar (thank you from a mom). They use REAL eggs, not egg liquid from a box. They provide complimentary chips and salsa. And the Cafe de Olla is served in traditional Hispanic clay mugs.”

“The best place for a foodie !! Mom and I had a blast!! She ate the Governor Tacos I had the Black Tide. I ordered the Hibiscus taco and the Mushroom taco from the vegan section. Mom LOVED the tacos. The flavors vibed delectably. The Black Tide was fresh, firey, the mango and apple with the shrimp was diced to perfection. The vegan tacos were amazingly delicious. The Hibiscus was dipped in the dark sauce. WOW!!! The blue tortilla was a bonus. It was so romantically blended. There is something about Hibiscus ?. The mushroom taco blended perfectly with the dark sauce. The limonade was just right. What a spectacular lunch. See you next time.”

So I mixed both sauces together and it came out good. Stream rice was too soft, felt like eating sticky rice, I won’t get rice again next time. Overall food was ok to have once in awhile.”

I got the Cajun plate my bf got the coco tempura roll along with a California roll . They have self served sauces on the side which are very good as well. The dining area is clean and pretty spacious the tables come with sriracha and soy along with utensils and napkins. Over all it was a great meal , I recommend.”

“Taco Boy is definitely a hole in the wall mexican joint. Breakfast here is definitely the best in the area especially for the price. Its a walk up to the counter and order type restaurant. No wait staff just a cashier and the chefs who are always on top of their game. My fave plate is the chilaquiles rojos. The chips and salsa alone are great. That's how you know the food is good.
It can sometimes take about 20/25 minutes for your order to be ready due to the early morning rush. Finding a table isn't too bad but again they have a loyal fan base of early bird breakfast customers who will wait in line to order. Give it a try it's definitely worth a try. Friendly on the wallet too!”

“Found this hidden pho spot in Pico Rivera and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a small restaurant but very clean with a fresh, modern vibe and trendy music. Everything looks new, which made the experience even better.

The server was attentive at the start, though he didn’t come back to check if we needed additional refills. The dumplings were on the smaller side and a bit pricey, but they were packed with flavor and definitely worth trying. The pho itself was hot, delicious, and very satisfying.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. This place is worth checking out if you’re in the area!”

The taste the quality of the food and the fact that I’m able to stay on my diet plan or healthy eating plan I should say rather than diet it meets all my needs. Some people may not like this but it felt like they used what they could easily access. Also the ice creams were good. My picky sister who only wanted McDonald’s enjoyed it. I am writing this on the way back in traffic because the road was shut down and we can’t leave. Supposed to give my brother ice cream but it will probally be melted when I have back home late.”

“Visited La Mano Tortilleria recently and honestly had such a great experience. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh tortillas, carnitas, and homemade Mexican food hits you immediately and makes you hungry before you even order. The restaurant has a casual and authentic ambiance that feels very welcoming and traditional. You can tell this is the kind of place locals love because everything feels homemade and fresh.

The food was absolutely delicious. The carnitas were juicy, tender, and full of flavor with the perfect crispy edges. Their handmade tortillas make such a huge difference and taste fresh off the grill. We also tried the consommé with the tacos and it was rich, flavorful, and perfect for dipping. The chicharrón was super crispy and fresh, and the guacamole tasted homemade with fresh ingredients. One thing I really loved was the huge variety of salsas they offer. From spicy red salsa to creamy avocado salsa and molcajete style salsa, every option added so much flavor to the meal.

The portions are generous and everything tasted authentic and high quality. Even the rice and sides were flavorful and fresh. The drinks paired perfectly with the food and completed the experience.

The staff was also very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the visit. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was fast and organized, and everyone made us feel welcome. The atmosphere felt lively, clean, and comfortable, making it a great spot for lunch with friends or a casual family dinner.

Definitely recommend La Mano Tortilleria if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, fresh handmade tortillas, flavorful carnitas, amazing salsa options, and friendly service. This is one of those places you’ll keep craving after you leave.”

I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken.
