“The best place for a foodie !! Mom and I had a blast!! She ate the Governor Tacos I had the Black Tide. I ordered the Hibiscus taco and the Mushroom taco from the vegan section. Mom LOVED the tacos. The flavors vibed delectably. The Black Tide was fresh, firey, the mango and apple with the shrimp was diced to perfection. The vegan tacos were amazingly delicious. The Hibiscus was dipped in the dark sauce. WOW!!! The blue tortilla was a bonus. It was so romantically blended. There is something about Hibiscus ?. The mushroom taco blended perfectly with the dark sauce. The limonade was just right. What a spectacular lunch. See you next time.”

“The Beer is good! But the vibes and the staff are Top notch! It’s a great watering hole where you can bring the kids and your dog and enjoy some brews and live music or loteria night. “Last week we took my mother for her 70th birthday to Los Amores de Julia. We were visiting from Seattle, and went in just based on pictures and reviews. I can’t tell how amazing our visit was: from the beautiful atmosphere when we walked in; to friendly staff; to delicious cocktails and dinner; to a surprise special birthday song with a sombrero, a serape, a light show, and a flan being kissed with the torch right in front of us to give it a lovely crunch as a crème brûlée has. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and served the most delicious Mexican food I’ve had. Thank you, Los Amores de Mexico, for a perfect evening of celebration for our family.”

“This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.

This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.”

For my parents wedding anniversary I dropped by to get them a cake and it turned our extra cute because they had wedding cake toppers and the lady helped me choose the cutest one that had a 90s vibe because my parents got married in the early 90s :).Then I got a custom made cake for my 6th month anniversary for my boyfriend and I showed them pictures of what I wanted for inspiration and they made it even cuter!! “Love this place for amazing bionico! The crema is delicious, not too sweet and very savory. It can get busy from time to time but that is rare. It can also be a little noisy, but the place is bare bones. They make almost everything in front of their customers.

There is usually parking and the spaces are right in front.

This is my go to place for bionico and turmeric/ginger/lime shots. I will always return when I have my craving!”

“This place is a great spot for delicious Mexican food and catching a game. Three big flat-screen TVs hang from the ceiling, showcasing various sports, and we were there to watch part of the Dodgers vs. Mets game. They offer a 2-for-1 deal on fish tacos on Tuesdays and other tacos on Thursdays.

I tried the seafood burrito, which is loaded with octopus, shrimp, scallops, fish, rice, beans, and a white sauce that tastes like diluted sour cream. I was blown away with the first bite—there’s plenty of seafood in every mouthful. The lemon, slightly pickled purple onions, and seasoned jalapeños complemented the burrito perfectly.

The restaurant isn’t very large, but it has a cozy ambiance. The parking lot outside is small due to the plaza's size at the corner of the street. I’ll definitely be back on Tuesday or Thursday for the taco deal!”

There were notes of pineapple, it was so tender and flavorful mmm! Asada was well seasoned and tasted very good as well. I'll pass on the carnitas next time, it was dry and no flavor. And they have a good red sauce that's not too hot and adds a nice little kick and flavor. A little over $2 for most tacos, and it was .$3.50, I believe, for lengua (worth it). Seven tacos = $20”

“Brings back memories. I lived in Hawaii and eaten at L&L Hawaiian BBQ many times. So my expectations were a bit high and displaced did not disappoint. I ordered the mixed grill and it was delicious. The meat and macaroni were excellent. The white rice was white rice. Definitely taste at the food I had in Hawaii. If I had one negative view, it would be the price, $17 for the plate, but I guess it’s a sign of inflation in this economy.”
