“Lilian’s in Rancho Santa Fe made for such a fun date night spot. The whole place has a romantic, polished vibe without feeling stuffy. My wife and I started with the spicy tuna crispy rice and honestly could’ve ordered three more - perfectly crispy with that melt-in-your-mouth tuna on top. She went with the wedge salad and spicy rigatoni alla vodka, which totally lived up to the hype, while I had the warm crab and avocado salad that was super fresh and refreshing. The 1/2 roasted chicken sealed the deal for me - hearty, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of those dinners you keep talking about after you leave.“

We were so happy our trip last week included California English! Right away the decor & atmosphere draw you in, being both chic & comfortable. “It actually did not start off on a good note. Once we receded. We were next to a family with two horrible parents that let both their children scream and bang on plates the entire time. Not athe restaurants fault but the place should not be for children although I know it's resort so it has to be. Maybe they should put them in the back room or something . I got up after 15 minutes of being unable to take it anymore , talked to our amazing waiter Alex and he immediately moved us to the beautiful outside deck . From that point on everything was amazing, the service, the view and most of all the food. Alex was a great waiter, even singing some amazing ballads for us. “On a recent visit to the San Diego/Escondido area, we ate at Craft and Taco Lounge. Since I’m vegan, it was my pick for dinner, and the Vegan Pastor ended up being my favorite. It was so good that I went back the next evening for takeout. I’ve had tacos across Texas and Mexico, and these were among the best I’ve had.“

We ordered two EPIC hot lobster rolls (Connecticut style, warm with butter) and although they were delicious, for the EPIC PRICE OF $39 PER ROLL, it was very skimpy compared to what you get for that price in New England. They stack it high in the middle and don’t fill the bun to the ends to make it look super full. It’s not. The New England clam chowder was great though.“

Initially went to Cava but the wait was horrendous, so we quickly left and came here. No line. No wait. We were immediately greeted with a big smile by a young gentleman at the front.
I had a poke bowl and my bf ordered the salmon plate with a side of brussel sprouts. Everything was full of flavor and healthy I was very satisfied. This is going to be my new favorite spot.“

🏆 Noah is Off the Charts!
The true star of our dining experience was our waiter, Noah. Vegans and vegetarians are understandably discerning and often face menu anxiety, but Noah completely melted all of that worry away. He was incredibly astute and thoughtful, proactively ensuring every dietary need was flawlessly met.
Noah is a phenomenal ambassador for the restaurant. I actually tried to speak with the manager to rave about him, but they were unavailable. I truly hope management reads this because Noah is an absolute treasure—I would return again and again just to sit in his section.
