“When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

I tried the spicy beef pho -so good, however I think next time I’ll get the regular beef pho, so I can control the flavors a bit more. I also got the milk tea. We also had xiao baos and their dry noodles with peanut butter sauce which were both fantastic! I would recommend against getting their devils hot sauce unless you have like an amazing spice tolerance! I thought my spice tolerance was fine because i can handle tapatio and valentina easily but this sauce left me chugging my drink and feeling the chili under my tongue for hours!“

The Huarache of carne asada was Soo good my mom loved it and the tacos de lengua 💣 bomb .. we ordered agua fresca de Limon and it too was delicious 😋 not at all over powering of sugar it was perfect and I mean perfect. The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.“

“Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend ?“

“There are only so many Korean spots in Monterey Park, so I come to Lee's every now and then for some Korean comfort food. Even though the menu prices are a little higher than your average Korean meal, the service and taste never misses. I love the tofu soups, kimbap, cold noodles, and ban chan. Place is pretty nice and calm, making for a relaxing meal. Not the largest assortment of toppings but it has everything you need: veggies, seafood balls, noodles, mushrooms, etc. Really great meat portions per serving.
