“Our son wanted sushi and he loved it! The pad Thai has a very different flavor that I was not a fan of, but they replaced it. I chose the shrimp Thai basil and it was phenomenal. The chicken habachi was also great as well as the soup that came with it. Very good, sweet server, will return to try more!”

“We visit Pisces Rising several times a year and love their food and drink, happy hour is great. They do need to alter their recipe for the Poke Stack.....it's all fresh, but had a huge top layer of wonton and thick bottom layer of rice, making the whole thing really dry. If they just eliminated those items, it would be much better.”

“We ate at the restaurant on 10/25/25 and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The homemade pastas and veal were fabulous. The services and atmosphere was also wonderful and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will definitely visit it again next year. They even took a reservation during the art & craft show which most restaurants won't do at that time. Delicious!”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“We’ve been coming here every time we make our annual trip up to Mt Dora for the past 4 years and love this bake shop! The breakfast options are always delicious and we love that they have seasonal baked to choose from. The lattes can be a little lackluster with almost no flavor coming through, but we’ll always come back for the food. Love that this is a privately owned shop, and the interior is always decorated so cute!”

“It was so nice to be able to go to a restaurant and sit down and have a "normal" meal without being terrified of getting sick. It's really sad that there aren't more 100% gluten free restaurants around. This place did not disappoint! I will definitely make the 1+ hour drive again sometime. Thank you for existing!!”

“I found my new bakery 🎀🤍🎀 The Le Petit Sweet ladies were super sweet and a pleasure to deal with. The cake was not only beautiful but was soooo delicious! The lavender cookies were also beautiful and delicious! I just gave a general idea of what I wanted and told them to just do whatever they wanted and they were absolutely perfect 🎀👼🏼🎀 Then, the rest of the desserts! Macarons, bourbon cream puffs, tiramisu’s, mini raspberry cheesecakes and mini blackberry lime cupcakes were all amazing!!!!! The food is well-portioned and tasty, the staff is very friendly (they were happy to re-seat us when we decided to switch from indoors to the porch) and the atmosphere is chill. “Went in a Friday night over the Arts Festival weekend. They were busy, but staff seated us fairly quickly. We ordered a veggie pizza - it came out huge, hot & delicious. The veggies were very fresh, the crust was not too thick or thin & it had the right amount of cheese. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. We feel like we picked a great place & wish we had more time to go back & choose one of their Italian dishes!”

Tonight I got the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and baked beans… even more amazing!! Best brisket I have ever had! Mac and cheese was amazing!! Sweet tea was amazing also! Highly recommend!!”

“Our server Jose and another gentlemen provided us with exceptional customer service. They welcomed our family of 5 with smiling faces and friendly personalities. They were patient while we ordered our food and provided quick service. The restaurant was extremely clean, floors were recently mopped and tables were all wiped down. The food was fresh, delicious and well seasoned. For reference, we ordered a combination of wings, subs, fries and pretzels. Our 2 year old was licking her fingers and she is a very picky eater.

Im a door Dasher and when it comes to picking up orders they have been on time ,which makes my day a lot easier ! Thank you guys keep up that Grind Justin that works the lunch shift is doing a very good job. He is working continuously handling customers with much respect. I just wanted to give him a shout out. “This is the worst bar in Mount Dora. If you want to have a bad time. Go here. We showed up to the bar at 10 pm on a Saturday and ordered one drink per person. While my friends went to the bathroom, the bartender walked up to our table and took away our purchased drinks for no reason. The "manager", Mark came up and told me that we weren't welcome anymore. I asked why and he had no answer. I asked why again and he had no answer. Then after multiple times questioning, he said , "your too intoxicated" We were literally sober. The manager then physically intimidated us and forced us to leave. I'll never go to this bar again I live in this town and frequent town regularly. I'll never recommend anyone go to this bar for food or drink. What a top to bottom terrible experience. If you enjoy a good time, skip this bar.”

This is one of those authentic places that you rarely find and I had a gut Feeling that their pizza was the best around there’s a guy named Cameron there. He’s always there. He goes above and beyond. I’ve seen him dealing with angry customers With a smile on his face, but most importantly, the ingredients and the pizza from the pizza shop is my favorite. They gave me a slice on the house and I will not order pizza from anywhere else in mount dora.”
