“frequently go to this place to pick up food orders. I haven't had the pleasure of eating here, but it's certainly an excellent place. The staff is amazing, always welcoming you with the greatest disposition, respect, cordiality, and kindness. There's a very young woman who wouldn't be able to scoff if someone made a mistake with their order or a drink. The lady who serves as host is undoubtedly a great employee. I hope her bosses value them highly because this place might not be as pleasant without them. Thank you for your work and effort.“

“Elims has been apart of the Ewa beach shopping center for as long as I can remember. mom and pop shop, cardboard everywhere but still nicely intact, food counter is clean cold drinks are laid out nice and the banchan area is always filled. I thought to come here instead of pearls chain restaurant just to support local cuz id be sad to see them fold.I ordered the classic kalbi & meatjun combo. Now, the reviews may be right about the meatjun. It’s not the best, meat was kinda tough but flavor wise was ok, I’m all about having a good sauce to cover that so i ordered extra meat Jun sauce.Kalbi was freakin good. Way better than pearls because the marinate and smoky taste from the grill comes thru. It’s also not overly sauced up like some places, it just tastes like homemade kalbi cooked on a grill. You don’t need to get the meat Jun, but you gotta get the kalbi.4 sides: 2x mayo potato (always good lil sweet) noodles, and seaweed. Didn’t taste old, very good flavor!Price: $23 and some change cuz I ordered 2 xtra big cups of meat jun sauce lol. Free parking. **NOW TAKES CARD**“

“So far this is my favorite L&L. We had just arrived in the area and decided to stop for lunch in-between lease signing and venturing the staff was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The food was great. Highly recommend this L&L Location.“

Literally within 5mins of leaving but my food ain’t hot. Y’all literally just pulled the chicken out the fridge and warmed it up. I literally thought I was paying for a HOT PLATE.“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

“Fantastic #4 BBQ chicken. Lots of food for a good price in Hawaii. This isn't a great sit down place but I was planning to take food to go. I loved they didn't take 30 seconds to get my food. They cooked the chicken fresh on the spot. I waited about 15 minutes which is how long chicken should take to cook. Great spot.“

“Hanna and Ming are so awesome. The food is soooo yummy. They make special requests for me without batting their lashes. Their curry is really good and matches well with... well... everything!!! I usually ask them for salt and pepper chicken with curry. They add fresh spicy peppers, jalapeños I think, and onions. Its really amazing. I wanted to change it up and asked for steamed fish with curry and just peppers and Ming was like "Sure, I can do that." I didn't want rice or Mac either and he said no problem. This is what I got! Nice and spicy, fish is so tender and their curry sauce is always my go to. I'm serious, its pretty amazing!!“

Vegetarian options: You can order just the side dishes as a plate mix. They will let you chose 4-5 side dishes items. I love their broccoli and bean sprout side dishes. They also have plain tofu as side dish.

Parking: There's always plenty of parking. We never had a time where we would go looking for parking.“

“Sunset Lanai ia a great bar with an awrsomr view. They have a really nice bar area and outdoor patio that overlooks pearl harbor. The bar tender was very friendly and prompt. The wings were great, just crispy enough. The fries were really good, seasoned well, and crispy to perfection. Defineftly would go back.

“Kau Kau is serving up delicious grinds consistently. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is some of the best I've ever tasted. Mac salad is kept separately so it doesn't get warm sitting next to the ribs and rice. Prices are fair. If you have never been, I strongly suggest you try it. The whole menu on point.“

I ordered one serving of the special set and kimchi pancake, and 2 adults and a 3-year-old child ate it together. I packed the leftover rice and side dishes well and was able to eat until breakfast. When you order a dish, you can choose four side dishes, including kimchi, seasoned seaweed, stewed potatoes, japchae, seasoned bean sprouts, seasoned cabbage, etc. All four we chose were delicious and both the ribs and kimchi pancakes were excellent restaurants. “Nimitz Korean Bbq is a very mom and pop Korean Restaurant. It might not have the best service, but it does have great and authentic Korean food! I am Korean-American, so I encourage you to please enter with a gracious mind as I believe the husband takes orders and the wife cooks in the kitchen. The man up front is nice, but I can tell that when he speaks English it can sound like he is being rude/harsh, but that is not his intention. It’s simply language barrier! When we started speaking Korean, his demeanor was more comforting! The food is large portions and can be on the pricier side, but the amount definitely makes up for it!

“Came here today and never knew there was good huli huli chicken just a 5 min drive from me! The aunties were very nice. Aunty at the register took the time to tell us what kine ribs they use and how the huli huli chicken plate differs from the chicken pieces.
We got the huli huli chicken plate and the meat was soft and juicy, good spice. Def coming here more often 👏“
