“Elims has been apart of the Ewa beach shopping center for as long as I can remember. mom and pop shop, cardboard everywhere but still nicely intact, food counter is clean cold drinks are laid out nice and the banchan area is always filled. I thought to come here instead of pearls chain restaurant just to support local cuz id be sad to see them fold.I ordered the classic kalbi & meatjun combo. Now, the reviews may be right about the meatjun. It’s not the best, meat was kinda tough but flavor wise was ok, I’m all about having a good sauce to cover that so i ordered extra meat Jun sauce.Kalbi was freakin good. Way better than pearls because the marinate and smoky taste from the grill comes thru. It’s also not overly sauced up like some places, it just tastes like homemade kalbi cooked on a grill. You don’t need to get the meat Jun, but you gotta get the kalbi.4 sides: 2x mayo potato (always good lil sweet) noodles, and seaweed. “Oh is great to come back to this monumental Korean restaurant in Salt Lake. Love that thin sliced Meat Jun. I was craving some Kalbi so must try the Kalbi combo with Meat Jun. The Kalbi was seasoned perfectly and the Meat Jun was great as usual. I definitely recommend phoning in your order for that quick pick up. There's A couple of picnic tables outside the restaurant, but be prepared to shooo away them flies.

Parking: The restaurant it’s in the back corner of Salt Lake shopping center. Next-door to Pizza Hut there’s lots of free parking right in front of the restaurant.“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

I would suggest it as an alternative to the cellphone lot when waiting at the airport and you are hungry.

Kim's special is good. You get two choices of sides. I had kimchee and chap chae. Kimchi had good spicy flavor.

I ordered one serving of the special set and kimchi pancake, and 2 adults and a 3-year-old child ate it together. I packed the leftover rice and side dishes well and was able to eat until breakfast. When you order a dish, you can choose four side dishes, including kimchi, seasoned seaweed, stewed potatoes, japchae, seasoned bean sprouts, seasoned cabbage, etc. All four we chose were delicious and both the ribs and kimchi pancakes were excellent restaurants. “I found this place on a whim, and I’m really glad I did. I ordered a lobster roll, the brisket and fries. The lobster roll was huge and delicious. The bun was steaming hot and the flavor very well balanced. The brisket was delicious and melted in your mouth. Fell apart as you picked it up. The fries were a little soft but that’s a preference and I didn’t ask for them to be well done. Don’t hesitate to get down here and try it absolutely delicious.

“This restaurant is on the Marine Corps base and you cannot get on base and to the restaurant without a military ID. Google maps takes you to a closed side gate. You need to enter through the main gate. This used to be a military club. Now, it is an all ranks facility. The setting is almost second to none. You can sit outside under a huge spreading tree and watch the sun set from one of the highest locations overlooking Pearl Harbor. The panorama of the entire area is spectacular. The menu was limited, but well prepared. Given the setting, we'd have come if all they were serving was hot dogs. They have Mongolian BBQ on Wednesdays. Suspect that would be a hit.“

“Bob's BBQ has character, a small shop with good food. My brother-in-law was craving meat and they have it. Great pork ribs, beef ribs and chicken. Comes with rice and mac salad. We also had burgers. Crispy bacon made it perfect. The fries were piping hot. Service was nice and efficient. Other customers ordered fish, if we have time before we leave, we csn do another stop.“

Kid-friendliness: Since this is only takeout the kids wouldn't stay in the shop, they ask everyone to wait outside standing or sitting on the bench they provide. Safe big space for kids to zoom around.

“This L&L restaurant by Costco Iwilei is the best of the many L&L's I've visited. The food is always well prepared, tasty, and nicely portioned. The restaurant is well kept, clean, and inviting. “My daughter and I had the food at this amazing little mini golf place and I’m telling you it is fantastic bbq!!! The staff is friendly and the owner Scott does a phenomenal job smoking his meats to tasty perfection. You don’t have to golf to enjoy the food and if you go by there the food is an absolute must!! “Overall, Buffalo Wild Wings is a fine food establishment that is reasonably priced for its food and has a very nice set up of seating that most wing places don’t offer. The service was efficient and very kind, making all their guests feel welcome. The wait for the food was also efficient. During my dine in I ordered the House Sampler and the All American Cheeseburger. Overall the food was delicious the burger was juicy and evenly cooked. The House Sampler had its ups for the most part but the nachos the sampler came with were off. They weren’t the best nachos but still edible, if you like dry food. But the sampler came with wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings which were all fantastic. For my first time ever being there I’d say it was pretty successful and I would definitely want to eat there again.“
