“Came into this pub looking for a stiff drink and maybe a fella with a pension and low standards, and brother, this place delivered. The lighting is dim enough to hide the crow’s feet but bright enough to spot a wedding ring from across the bar. Exactly how I like it.“

“Came here for a birthday party. I guess you can rent space for a private event. There was plenty of seating - both tables with chairs and high tables where you stand. It's a cozy neighborhood bar. Outside seating was still available for the public to use. The collection of beer was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They make pretty thin crust pizzas.“

I came in and was immediately met with some fun vibes within the squared circled bar with a divey feel. Lots of people and fun vibes. Reasonable prices. I'd definitely come by if you're a local and have a look, I definitely did as a visitor in my two occasions I came here. Had my shot of delicious malort here too.“

“I really loved this place, it’s a great spot to get a drink and hangout with friends. The main reason why I think people should come here is because I’m a local and there is not a dive bar in the area that provides this level of service. The bartenders are kind and attentive, you will get a drink without waiting too long and you will feel comfortable and safe. Yes it may be slightly pricier but not by much, this is the kind of place that makes it worth it. I am not a regular but I will be after tonights visit. My local bar being Mr. Cs has disappointment me with their management but this place will treat you 10x better. Please come and visit Jennifer and Colm, they were the best bartender and I’m sure they will treat you well also.“

“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

“Cork & Kerry is a Southside iconic pub. It has a great atmosphere, beer & drink selection. The service is great. It's the type of place you will run into someone you know. They don't serve food there, but they will let you bring it in. There is a great party room for any occasion. There is plenty of room for at least 75 people comfortably. You can bring in your own decorations, food, and desserts. They will let you run an open bar tab or customize the occasion to your price range. Parking can be tricky depending on what day of the week you visit. There is only free street parking. You may have to drive to a side street unless it's not busy. Overall, Cork & Kerry is a great Southside Irish bar to visit.“

“Hands down, the best bar food in the neighborhood! Pretzel-crusted walleye is ridiculous along with the olive-sized steamed mussels. But as good as the food, the bartenders crush it even more. Responsive, accommodating and authentically friendly.“

“I discovered R Public House when Honeybear Cafe had a 2 hour wait this Sunday. So grateful I heard about R Public, and got a fantastic window table right away. The service was fantastic, the food excellent, the prices reasonable. They have beautiful outdoor seating as well. This is a wonderful Roger's Park gem, with an eclectic menu, artsy/homey pub vibe, and a quiet location on a street with no car traffic.“

“I wish I lived closer so I could come here more. Amazing service. Everyone was so kind and my drink didn’t go empty. The pozole might have been one of the best I have ever had. The burger and chicken tinga tacos were fantastic. I had a great time. I’m gonna order another drink. Tip your bartender. Tip your server. Wow.“

“Lovely Korean karaoke pub with solid food, spacious rooms, and great service. The only downside was that the karaoke setup runs through YouTube instead of the classic karaoke systems with built-in music videos and. It still worked fine, but part of the nostalgic karaoke fun was missing a bit.“

“Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. The bartender Morgan was engaging and her service was quick. Got to play golden tee and darts which never misses. The bathrooms were cleaner than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend any day of the week“

I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

“I gave them 4 stars for the friendly and quick service. I believe I paid 18.00 for 2 shots of some peanut butter tasting shot. Thats a hefty price, which is why i hang out in the burbs. Regardless, fun atmosphere. I would drop by again for a beer or two. Did not eat.“

“THE cocktail bar to go to in the neighborhood, especially if you're going to a show at Aragon or The Riv. Doesn't have a kitchen but you can BYO or have something delivered, and they also have a partnership with the deli down the street so you can order some truly delicious sammies at the bar and they'll deliver. Really great cocktail program from Luke who runs the bar, and really great staff that'll help you figure out what'll really wet your whistle. Also has a huge patio open in the summer, and lots of cozy couches and seating in the lobby.“
