“Came into this pub looking for a stiff drink and maybe a fella with a pension and low standards, and brother, this place delivered. The lighting is dim enough to hide the crow’s feet but bright enough to spot a wedding ring from across the bar. Exactly how I like it.“

“Great atmosphere for World Cup game Mexico England. Good Food. Great service. But I was a bit surprised by tip % on payment nachine starting at 20%. Essentially, choice offeted on payment terminal is 20, 22 and 24%! I had to insert custom because it is a steep choice. Would have preferred 18, 20, 22%.“

“Lovely Korean karaoke pub with solid food, spacious rooms, and great service. The only downside was that the karaoke setup runs through YouTube instead of the classic karaoke systems with built-in music videos and. It still worked fine, but part of the nostalgic karaoke fun was missing a bit.“

Burger meat could have used some seasoning, otherwise was bland.
The bacon was subpar mostly fat.
But it was cooked perfectly crisp.

And there were no fries included, which was surprising for a burger meal even a small amount.

I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“

“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

“Hands down, the best bar food in the neighborhood! Pretzel-crusted walleye is ridiculous along with the olive-sized steamed mussels. But as good as the food, the bartenders crush it even more. Responsive, accommodating and authentically friendly.“

“I really loved this place, it’s a great spot to get a drink and hangout with friends. The main reason why I think people should come here is because I’m a local and there is not a dive bar in the area that provides this level of service. The bartenders are kind and attentive, you will get a drink without waiting too long and you will feel comfortable and safe. Yes it may be slightly pricier but not by much, this is the kind of place that makes it worth it. I am not a regular but I will be after tonights visit. My local bar being Mr. Cs has disappointment me with their management but this place will treat you 10x better. Please come and visit Jennifer and Colm, they were the best bartender and I’m sure they will treat you well also.“

“We're from NY. We came to see a game at Wrigley. Awesome. We start at the parking lot and made our way south on foot. Don't dare take the bus and miss this place. We get to here and finish at Murphy's.

This place blows Murphy's away.

The atmosphere is your neighborhood bar, the service is personal. It set the mood and experience perfectly.

Next time in Chicago, I know there's no place else needed to go. Hats off to you.

“I went to hear Irish music and it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!“

“My dad and I came in for food and drinks before the sox vs. dodgers game, we had such an awesome experience. He had the grilled cheese cheeseburger while I had the Latino burger. The fries here are arguably the best type of fries which just added more awesomeness to my opinion of the place. The mac and cheese was great and super cheesy, the burger was FANTASTIC. The blend of flavors were so good.

Was also awesome to be there while they had representatives there for Super Lyte which was a plus.

“Honestly I love the red neon aesthetic, I only wish the white light from the lobby didn't bleed in as much. I will note, this place is small, like you're not gonna fit more than 20 people in here if you tried, more often than not you'll only find 4-5 people in here, but that's a vibe honestly too.

One thing I need to note is the food, omg how is the food here so good? It's ordered from across the street and some guy brings it over in a bag and it's phenomenal and well priced.

“Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. The bartender Morgan was engaging and her service was quick. Got to play golden tee and darts which never misses. The bathrooms were cleaner than expected which was a pleasant surprise. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend any day of the week“

They were so nice, engaged with everyone, and my son loved the men working and he’s two so he loved doing fist bumps and they even cut his chicken tenders up for me so they would cool faster.
