The seafood pancake was crispy and amazing, the Yukejjang beef stew achieved just the right amount of spiciness to heartiness, and the Jjokbal was so tender. This is one of the most authentic and delightful Korean food experiences around Chicago!”

“Love this place, best around. If my 230 pound ass has to say “half portion meat” you know damn well they give you generous portions. I’ve been to plenty of “all you can eat” Korean bbq places that give you very little portions at a time and take 30 mins in between rounds.

“We have been going there for over a year on the first Friday of every month to see the free live music! It is always a great time and family friendly. The kids really get into the music. The band is excellent, providing music of all genres. If they have live music every Friday, we would be there every Friday! The staff is great and the food above average! See you the first Friday of every month!”

“I stopped by K Teriyaki in Niles and tried the Chicken Teriyaki lunch special. I placed my order at 11:46 and received it at 12:02, so the wait was pretty reasonable. They also have an online ordering option if you’re short on time.
As far as the food goes, I’d put it on the higher end of middle-of-the-road for me. It’s not the best teriyaki I’ve ever had, but it’s certainly not the worst. The chicken had a slight char, which I enjoyed, and the steamed vegetables—cabbage, broccoli, and carrots—were still crunchy rather than overcooked.

I also like that the teriyaki sauce comes on the side instead of the chicken being covered in it. You can add as much or as little as you want, which gives you more control over the calories and can be helpful for people with dietary restrictions.

It’s a family-friendly spot, too, with high chairs and booster seats available right by the door.

They have five lunch specials, and I’ve decided I’m going to work my way through all of them. The Chicken Teriyaki was a solid start and landed on the higher end of middle-of-the-road for me. I’m looking forward to trying the other four to see which one comes out on top.”

I ordered a classic cheeseburger it is a great option for anyone craving something savory and satisfying alongside all the pizza and appetizers.

I also ordered Mango Habanero Wings these wings were a must-try for anyone who loves a sweet and spicy combination! The mango brings a fruity sweetness, while the habanero adds that extra kick for a flavorful balance.

Also ordered a Greek Salad which was super refreshing addition to the meal. a Greek salad is a great way to balance out all the heartier dishes and add something fresh to the table.

Has to order Cheese Tavern-Style Pizza! You can never go wrong with a classic cheese pizza. I will be back to order the deep dish Pizza along with a few different other flavors of pizza. I just wanted to get a little taste of everything this time around. Anyway the Tavern-style pizza is perfect for sharing, with its thin, crispy crust and bite-sized squares that make it easy to keep reaching for another slice.

Had to get some Mozzarella Sticks I love a classic appetizer this belongs on every group order when you stop by! These are perfect for sharing and dipping into marinara sauce for that delicious combination of crispy coating and gooey cheese.

Finally I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap which is one of my favorites from my order! The buffalo chicken wrap was SO good. The combination of flavorful buffalo chicken wrapped up in a tortilla makes it a satisfying option for anyone who loves a little heat and bold flavor.

I really loved being able to try such a variety of items, from classic pizza and appetizers to wings, salads, and wraps. Nanny’s Pizzeria is a great option when everyone in your group is craving something different! I want to say it was extremely cozy in this pizzeria. I can’t even put into words how relaxed and happy I felt it gave me this feeling of nostalgia and comfort I have not felt in a restaurant in years!!

Save this spot for your next pizza night or casual dinner with family and friends. They have a bar area. They also have slot machines as well. I will be back again the service was spectacular!! As I mentioned before in this review, I really wish I stopped in sooner like years ago and I know there i a large amount of people who have driven past this place in the Nile’s area never realizing how amazing this hidden gem truly is.”

Stopped by The Arvin Place and was genuinely impressed. Ordered the khuushuur (fried meat pies) and a traditional meat platter with boiled beef, potatoes, carrots, and a delicate dough wrap. Portions are generous, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the khuushuur came out golden with a thin, crispy shell, exactly how it should be. The broth on the side was a nice touch.
The space is clean and welcoming, with photos of the Mongolian steppe on the walls that set the mood. Friendly service, fair prices, and a rare chance to try real Mongolian cuisine in the Chicago area. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​”

“This is located in Park to Shop. The food court area is pretty spacious. It’s one of the nicest looking food courts I’ve ever been to at any grocery store. Decoration is key. We ordered chicken satay, fish cakes, boat noodle, basil crispy pork, Thai iced tea, crab rangoon, and wonton noodle. Service was friendly. Overall, it’s a solid 4. I would go back but try more dishes.

-chicken satay 5 - chicken was very tender and well seasoned.
-fish cakes 3 - they were okay, nothing to wow you. I think the curry paste could be stronger.
-boat noodle 5 - it is served in a large bowl. The broth has a sweet and spicy mix. There is beef, noodles, pork rind, bean sprouts, and meatballs,
-basil crispy pork 3.5 - I feel like the pork was too crispy and chewy. I would have liked it to be a little bit softer, crispy, and juicy. No one likes eating tough meat.
-Thai iced tea 5 - standard, not watery.
-crab rangoon 5 - pretty standard. It had a lot of crab imitation and cream cheese.
-wonton noodle 5 - the wontons were very meaty. Don’t sleep on that broth, it’s very savory.”

“We went here to celebrate birthday and at 5pm on a Saturday, this place was already crowded. Food was good and would want to go back and try other things. Service was good and one thing I didn’t like is that you have to use the valet for parking.”

“This place won our hearts during our 4th July long weekend visit to Chicago this year. We were 3 days in Chicago and for all those days, this was our spot for lunch.

The ambience was nice, place was clean & beautiful and the food was just DIVINE! From everything we tried, our favorite dishes were Paneer Lollipop, Malai Kofta, Chicken Chettinad, Benne Dosa, Malabar Parotta, and of course, filter coffee. Must must must visit this place while in Chicago.”

I love the place coz it's not that busy in comparison to H Mart and other Asian Grocery store that has a food court. Or perhaps today is day after Labor Day, that's why its quite. Plus ASSI got tons of Asian Ready hot/cold foods to go and you can eat at their food court. 🥰, Love the Spicy Noodles i ordered its just the right spice though I ordered extremely hot and spicy stuff. “Happy 2026! This is my first video review, and I’m starting strong with Vince’s Pizza in Niles, IL. Hands down, this is the best pizza spot I’ve had in the Chicagoland area. In my opinion, it’s as good as, if not better than, Pantaleone’s in Denver, Colorado. The quality of the pizza is outstanding. It easily surpasses every slice I tried at Pizza Fest Chicago 2025. Vince uses incredibly fresh ingredients, and it shows in every bite. The crust is exceptional, honestly on par with some of the best pizza spots in NYC. Service is top-notch. Vince himself is the owner, chef, cashier, and server, which adds a personal touch you don’t find often. He’s friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations based on what you like. It’s no surprise he’s been a multiple-year Pizza Wars winner. On top of that, the pricing is unbeatable for the size and quality, easily better value than places like Rosati’s, Viccino’s Pizza Company, and Giordano’s. The ambiance feels like stepping into an old-school neighborhood pizza shop. It’s nostalgic, warm, and refreshing, something that’s becoming harder and harder to find. Final recommendation: Try the pizza by the slice (it’s massive basically a quarter of a pie), the Vince’s Special, or the Meat Lovers. Came with portion of beef blugogi (good flavor and came with extra sauce), rice (normal rice), tempura shrimp, egg roll, and fried potsticker (all were standard and decent), salad (mayo on side i guess for dressing), Japanese (cold noodle dish, basically soy sauce with slight sweetness, very good). A few bits of kimchi and super small cup of egg soup. Took about 8 min to cook. Overall good meal, decent price.”
