“best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.

The fish is so fresh, melts in your mouth, and seasoned with great combination of flavors. My boys like the mushroom and California rolls sushi while I enjoyed the spicy hot fish poke bowl a lot. The staff and owner were super friendly and nice. The place was stylish, neat and clean. The sashimi was fresh and delicious! The food was served fast and the price was reasonable too. We are definitely coming back!“

“Their lunch specials were great value and absolutely delicious. I got the onigiri special, which was the perfect amount of food for a lunch. My girlfriend got the other lunch special with the katsu, which was well-cooked in a world of too-dry katsu. The Thai tea the meal came with was tasty too“

“This place deserves 10 stars! The Sushi Sashimi Bento at Neta Sushi is fantastic with chef’s choice sushi and sashimi that melts in your mouth. The California roll and salad complete the meal perfectly. I also ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, which had a beautiful balance of citrus and truffle flavor. The Wasabi Tuna roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna was bold and delicious. Amazing sushi spot in Park Ridge!“

“A really great lunch spot to dine and chat with friends!! I came during the “lunch special” hours of 11-3. Service was immediate and very friendly. Both specials we chose also included a rich miso soup. The tempura batter was perfection, crispy and light but not greasy. Everything was presented in a way that was pleasing to the eye. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one.
