“My friend who is Jewish wanted to try Honduran food for the first time, we drove an hour to this restaurant. The entrance is the same door as the Red Iguana, towards the right door. It was clean and though it was slow, the food quality did not disappoint. This is an authentic Honduran flavor (I am from Honduras) and the servings are very good for their price. I also bought fresh cheese and sour cream, 100% recommended. My friend's favorite was pollo chuco but we also tried yuca Frita, baleadas and enchiladas, their refried beans are delicious. Waters were fresh. Excellent place!!”

“I came here thinking it was an “asian market” and I suppose it is, but east asian! Was super impressed by the service and the Indian food selection. They didn’t have all the ingredients I wanted to make my Chinese lo mein noodles but I picked up some chai and masala packets. If only my eating window were open I would have stayed to try some of the home cooked food. It smelled delicious! Will be back!”

“Walked into this unassuming warm bright place asked the young lady cashier was the food good.. all smiles she and her fellow coworkers assured me that it was....I was with two other people and I ordered three tacos, two steaks one chicken and a hortcha and one friend ordered one chicken steak and pork taco another friend two steaks rice ... there was a mixed up with pork taco it was straighten out and resolved and the food was delicious!!!”

Things can add up pretty quickly, but I’ll definitely keep coming back for the sushi! The Foxy Roll is my new favorite. I wish they had more desert options though. It’s never hard to find parking but the roads to the parking lot could use repairs.”

My younger brother usto work there. Unfortunately now they are understaffed i think i saw a total of 3 employees just now 😳 sandy and the crew are really holding it down. Even so i still got my order in a timely manner and they even offered to bring it up to my car but i didnt want to bring them out into the cold. Out of all the burger kings in waukegan this and the greenbay location are the best. Thanks Sandy for yet another positive experience.”

“Ive only been here once so take my review with a grain of salt but I have to say, this is one of those "food>environment" establishments where the heart and purpose is in the food. I had ordered the Kung Pao Chicken w/ Rice. I waited about 7-10 minutes in the lobby waiting for my food. I loved that my container was full to the top but do have to note that I wish the meat to rice ratio was a bit more balanced, but nonetheless, not enough to knock off a star. What I also did note that was different, was that my chicken was mixed in within my rice instead of how I've been accustomed to, which is receiving it in 2 separate portions. Which in no way is to be taken as a negative, I just thought It was different and gave the meal a sense of solidarity throughout the flavors which really let the sauces stand out and play their role really well. Going back to what I had said about the food slightly overshadowing the environment, I firmly believe that the food here is made with love as it seems to be family owned and operated, but I would love to see some improvements to the dining room and hospitality. But then again, I do understand that this is one of those 'in the cut" hidden gems that capitalize & rely on their faith in their good wholehearted food, which I do not blame at all. I definitely do see myself coming back and am excited to try out the rest of the items there. I give it 4 stars as I cannot in good faith give it 5 without trying their pepper steak or orange chicken but look more than forward to updating it in the future.”
