“The first time as a European tourist in Boston, of course, was also on my wish list to try a "lobster roll" for the first time in my life.\n\nOn a walk to the harbour, I came across JAMES HOOK & Co, where I was simply approached by the charming house, the decoration, the planting and the information that it was founded in 1925. \n\nMy credo is always "If a business has been on the market for such a long time...they know what they are doing, do it with passion and just have to be good + if someone values the external design, they also give value to their food and will prepare it well and create an appropriate ambience for them to shine and taste".\n\nUnfortunately, I had to realize that I was there three minutes before closing time, the employees were in the middle of cleaning up and cleaning. So I took a heart and asked one of the employees if I could still order a Lobster Roll quickly as it would be my last day in Boston and I would like to try a Lobster Roll once in my life. So he asked a colleague, who in turn went into the house and asked someone there. \n\nHe invited me to come in and I quickly ordered the original ...which I received within a minute and ate outside.\n\nSometimes simple compilations can be so good...even if you as a European can't imagine that at first and initially feel pity for the lobster that landed its triggered meat in simple mayo on a warm light simple bun...but honestly: \n\nIt was really delicious...and the composition was coherent. \nThe lobster meat was of very good quality...you could just taste it. It was nicely mixed with the delicious majo and pulled through, plus the warm bun....simple but damn delicious and authentic. \n\nI can wholeheartedly recommend it...and obviously many others. Because as I only read later, when I looked around on their website, JAMES HOOK & Co even received several awards.\n\nBesides, it is an owner-managed family business in the third generation..and such businesses that are an original and bring a lot of work and passion to their actions, I think it is important to support!”

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.”
“We went on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. There were so many options to choose from but my husband decided on a pizza from Lala’s Neapolitan-ish Pizza. The size of pizza for the price is good. I got the Cheesy Ramen from Ms. Clucks Deluxe. It was delicious!! My husband saw their chicken sandwich and already decided what he will be getting next time we go and we don't even live in the state (lol). It wasn't crowded at all at the time we went in. There were plenty of open seats (both bar top height and regular height tables). We can't wait to go back.”
“Had an awesome meal here! We ordered the Polpette Sandwich, Salsiccia Pizza, and the Bianco, and honestly, they were all amazing. The Bianco pizza stole the show—it was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and bursting with flavor. The staff is super friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and inviting. The vibe of the place is casual and fun, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. Everything felt fresh, tasty, and just done right. I can’t recommend it enough if you love good pizza, friendly service, and a chill spot to hang out. We’ll definitely be back soon to try even more from the menu!”
“I attended an event yesterday at this amazing Restaurant. The atmosphere is so inviting, the drinks were delicious. Food was absolutely scrumptious. And the staff all so kind and friendly. I highly recommend stopping in for a cocktail or dinner, you won’t be disappointed!!!”
“Great service and fantastic food at Little Sage. I walked in for dinner and was seated real quick. The waitstaff was very helpful and shared details that made my selection easier. Loved their casarcce pasta and the olive oil cake. When I was at the restaurant I saw someone come in just for the olive oil cake so you know it’s solid! Their limone cocktail was terrific! Great spot for dinner or date nights. Definitely recommend.”
“The service was awesome (shoutout my server, Stella🩷, she gave a great rundown of how the restaurant works and the menu). Loved it!! Def worth coming in. Really liked how they served each handroll at a time.”
“Had dinner at Lucy's while adventuring and it was hands down incredible! Everything was outstanding. The staff, the food, the environment, right down to the ice cold water and beer! 🤣 I will definetly be going again, because I wanted everything on the menu! Thank you Lucy's!”

“Yummy! And dog friendly patio.”
“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!”
“Popped in on a visit to Boston and was thoroughly impressed. Very intricate list, with adventurous but thoughtful picks and a staff knowledgeable enough to guide you through it. The half bottle allowance is a game changer - could easily splurge without feeling guilty here. Super happy for it to be on my radar and grateful for their suggestions for other wine hubs in the Boston area.”
“We had a wonderful experience! Food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Our server was awesome 👌 such a fantastic atmosphere Filet mashed truffle fries asparagus mac with added lobster wedge salad martini wine cookie skillet EVERYTHING was superb”
“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.
Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.”
“Really solid tasting menu! I was full by course three, which isn’t a bad thing, but the portions could be balanced a bit better. I enjoyed the meal overall, some courses were great, though a few didn’t quite wow me as much as I expected. Still, interesting flavors and a good experience.”
“Dining in a cozy yurt surrounded by freshly fallen snow was fun winter experience for our family. Great ambiance, and the food and service were exceptional. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable outing!”

“This is the perfect spot, especially since it's in Boston Children's Hospital. Good for what you need in the morning or afternoon, it's up-to-date, clean, and moves very quickly, so you don't have a long wait. They've got everything you need on the menu—great coffee drinks, the whole nine yards.”
“Not sure why there are so many bad reviews as we found this parking garage to be just what we needed. It was close to our hotel (3 min walk) and the hotel wanted to charge $70 per day for valet so $80 with tip. PI Alley was only $28. Just scan QR code when entering and leaving. They clearly stated that you can't go in and out during the stay. As noted on other reviews it is a bit tight so may be challenging for large trucks and suv’s. We would certainly recommend.”
“This chain coffee shop located outside North Station offers affordable and delicious coffee as well as a variety of donuts to choose from at affordable prices.

“The combination of refined cuisine, attentive staff, and an elegant setting made our visit exceptional. An ideal choice to enjoy a sophisticated meal with clients.”
“Took my 9 year old son here today for lunch When we were done, he said “Daddy, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had!” My 9 year old is a major pizza snob”

Takeout Restaurants
“The best place for lunch in Boston! Don't miss the Turkey #2 sando; the Turkey #1 is also very good and tasty. It’s the only place we ate at twice during the week we visited Boston. The service was nice in general, and especially the guy taking orders was helpful and kind. I don't know his name, but I know his brother is also named Jorge.”

“THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.”
“Amazing! Every bite was delish! First visit and will be back for sure!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Definitely worth the hype. The food is exceptional. Pizza Bianca with the tomato relish is delicious bite and the bread is so perfect, the pepperoni pizza with hot honey is probably the only thing we ate that you can skip but it's still really good, clams and guanciale is cooked to perfection and the sauce is addicting, the bucatini with chilli anchovy butter is one of my favorite dishes I've had, perfect chew and flavor. The sausage cavatelli was a delicious change of pace again a perfect cook on the pasta, finally the taleggio signature dish, absolutely delicious, if you're going with a group I'd probably get it as a shared plate because it is so so rich. Service was also stellar”
“In Boston during FB season and searched for a Packer Bar - BansheeBar kept showing up and when asking around they were the #1 recommended place. FUN atmosphere, met Packer fans from all over, bartender Joy was amazing and took great care of everything! Would absolutely recommend. BansheeBar Boston Packers Everywhere”
“Our first time at Baleia, and we’d absolutely recommend it and return. The savory cheese tarts, Portuguese sweet bread, and Whole Roasted Fish were the stand outs for us. In general, everything was cooked to perfection. The Mozambique Shrimp were the definition of succulent. My husband is not a huge fan of saffron, so the sauce wasn’t to his taste, but I found it delicious. The octopus carpaccio was bright, acidic, and so tender. A glass of Vinho Verde made for a well-rounded dinner.
The restaurant is beautiful, but it can become rather loud due to all the hard surfaces. We arrived at 6, but when we left at 8, the volume had increased significantly. Just a note for any of those that may need or prefer a quieter space.”

Fine Dining
“I want to commend the service of two servers, Nick and John. I was dining here for the first time with a business colleague who highly recommended the restaurant. Nick came and greeted us and my friend warmly and expertly curated a delicious meal with sold recommendations, providing constant care and attention. John also assisted us throughout the evening and was making sure we were well taken care of. They took the dinner to the next level.
Highly recommended the candied bacon and porterhouse with mashed potatoes. Will be bringing future dinner guests to this establishment.”
“Wou-wou wouuuu! This place is absolutely stunning from the view to the amazing people who work there!! The food is absolutely delicious 🤤 Our server REDINA is one of a kind, very professional, positive and pleasant… She recommended some of the best pastas and we loved it!
Absolutely coming back!! Very highly recommended 🤤🤤”
“The food is delicious, the environment is fantastic, the best is the service, everyone is warm and nice, we came on Saturday night which was busy time, we waited for a while, the waitress politely apologized for many times. Our server is Diego who is a very nice young man, he is a polite, warm, nice guy, he made us laugh, and we spent a very happy night in mistral because of him! We definitely will come again”
“We got there at 5 when it opened and that's the way to do it! Noise level was fine but by 6 it was LOUD and the place was only 75% full. My wife and I ordered a total of five dishes plus two desserts, and everything was really good. I especially recommend: - The burrata - The egg and potato omelet - The Brussels sprouts (but be sure to ask for extra sauce) The sliders were good, but they could have used more flavor. The flan for dessert was great. The chocolate churros were okay. Service was exceptionally good.”
“We went to Sorellina yesterday (Saturday night) at 5:30 pm as that was the only reservation I could get at one of the top restaurants in Backbay Boston. Boston has some good restaurants but getting reservations on a Saturday night if you don’t have one is going to take a miracle.
Sorellina is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant and it is also a one of the romantic places to dine with beautiful ambience. They are known for their fresh pastas and seafood.
Their service is impeccable and they really go overboard with it.
The food was amazing as well. We tried the tuna tartare, the oysters for appetizers. We shared the mafaldine a mushroom pasta for primi, and the veal chop Milanese for entree. Just one thing was that the veal was a bit overcooked.
We tasted the non-alcoholic Negroni count-me-in and the Guinness zero stout which were almost like the real thing.
Most of all I was impressed by their wait staff and their service so we gave them a very big tip.
I am sure I will return here for another meal.”
“Asta delivers a thoughtful, technique-driven tasting menu grounded in seasonality and restraint, favoring intention over theatrics.
The food is precise and carefully composed. Dishes emphasize balance and progression rather than shock value, with flavors that unfold quietly and reward attention. Technique is evident throughout—clean execution, measured seasoning, and a clear editorial hand guiding the menu. While the experience rarely aims for dramatic highs, it maintains a consistent level of control that keeps the meal cohesive from start to finish.
Service is calm and knowledgeable, supporting the menu without overexplaining it. Pacing is steady, transitions are smooth, and the room feels managed with care. Hospitality here is understated, aligning with the restaurant’s thoughtful tone rather than competing with it.
The space reinforces that sensibility. Intimate and composed, it encourages focus on the plate and conversation at the table. Nothing distracts from the experience, and nothing feels unnecessary.
Asta earns four stars through discipline and clarity. It may not chase spectacle or grand statements, but it executes its vision with confidence and consistency—an experience defined by precision, balance, and quiet ambition.”
“Came in jan 2026- we had made reservation reservations for five of us however these were ultimately not necessary because there’s only one other group here- our waitress did clarify that it is slower in the winter and on weekdays. In terms of the food, I thought it was a good balance between meats and veggies, and the portions were great, and we all left full and content. Highlights from me were the octopus and the salad.”

“It matches the hype. The Sicilian Pizza is…perfect. There’s not enough superlatives to do it justice and if there were, even then it wouldn’t reach hyperbole. Craziest thing of it all is the pricing. Four slices, arancini, and a drink for $16.00? How? In today’s economy how are they keeping the price this low? Also amazing. Just go. Don’t think about it, don’t pass go, don’t collect $200…go get your dang perfect slice.”
“One of my favorite restaurants in Boston i never would hesitate to recommend. I like the atmosphere, the service is always friendly and pretty quick, I’ve always found everything delish eating in or take out! I keep coming back for the Tom Kha Noodle Soup. Gotta take a pic of mine next time.”
“Tiny place. But they know what they’re doing. Went in one of these freezing days. Thankfully there wasn’t too many people waiting, a lot of DoorDash orders I noticed. Was able to wait/ eat inside at the little counter even with the bulk of my jacket. Probably the most delicious breakfast sandwich I ever had/ will ever have. The bacon was perfect and the sourdough was insane. I was worried about it being too greasy and heavy but it was actually fine. The two guys working were great and friendly. Heard the cashier giving recs to everybody.”
“I haven’t bn for ages although I know it’s the same owner who knows who’s who, I had great times in there with my father n his friends and many a nights with my friends , The IV is a Brighton treasure never any trouble and great ppl have always worked there . You cannot go wrong anytime of day or night . You won’t get a bad Guinness in there well I nvr did. I miss the Village I’ll have to stop by for a pint! NC 5 Starr”
“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back”
“Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.”
“Great experience, our waiter Brian gave us Great service and recommendations. The food was AMAZING! Steak melts in your mouth!”
“First time in the city and this was an amazing dinner for us. The food is delicious.”
“Piatti buoni e curati , cucina meditteranea ben interpretata”
“Went to the Bell in Hand to have dinner with my son for his 21st birthday. The food was outstanding, the service was outstanding and atmosphere is unbeatable. Pretty amazing getting to have a brew and dinner in America’s oldest tavern”
“extremely attentive staff, our meal was brought very promptly. bathroom could accommodate my wheelchair easily. we loved spending a special night there, and are already looking forward to our return visit”
“I liked this enough.
Went around late lunch so the venue was mostly empty and service was fast.
My chips and guacamole were the highlight. I could the beef birria taco to be dry (it shouldn’t be at $6.99).
Everything was slightly overpriced but one of those situations where it’s because of the decor and not so much the food you’re eating.”
“The lobster stuffed mushrooms were made to perfection and truthfully the best I’ve ever come across! We both enjoyed our meals and the portion to price ratio was worth it. I do wish the lights had been just a tad bit dimmer to bring in a more intimate atmosphere. Overall 10/10”
“My husband and I had dinner last Sunday night. It was a beautiful experience with impeccable service. I am going to remember my quail dish for a very long time. Highly recommend”

“There's not a lot of places in seaport that have a fun soul to them. This place provides good food for great conversations with friends. Ask for the wine poor”
“Great food and pet darn fast actually. My wife had the shrimp scampi with linguine and I had the stuffed calamari over black squid ink linguine. 🤌🏽👌🏽👍🏽”
“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. My new favorite spot for lunch or dinner in Boston.”

“This place is truly phenomenal. From the presentation to the balance of the drinks, everything was superb. Saul was very knowledgeable and was able to cater to everyone’s needs, and this place is so unique. Couldn’t recommend enough!”
“This was sincerely our favorite activity while in Boston. Bonnie expertly guided us through the meal, and her attention to detail enhanced the experience. They can accommodate a variety of diets; the vegetarian option was absolutely delicious, and clearly well curated. Entire tea service was charming.”
“Left another place to come here because the customer service was bad. What a 180. Citizen staff was friendly, great w/suggestions and helped secure me a seat at their busy bar. Had two great cocktails and a delicious pepper seared filet. Well done Citizen Pub!! I will be back!”

“Best pizza I’ve had in Boston. Broccoli pizza was phenomenal and tasted very fresh 👌”
“Food was great and delicious and the staff were excellent”
“This place doesn’t get enough play, (selfishly) I’m ok with that. I don’t need Mai to get busier than it already is.
Drinks are awesome. Food is unreal. Service is top notch…never a bad time/meal.
The host/hostess, bartenders, runners, and everyone here are the best. Ashley is THE best. Cannot recommend this place enough.”
“We booked the private dining area and had a great experience. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. Food and drinks were good and the overall booking process with Zoey was easy and transparent.”

“ShuDaXia was really good! It has an expansive menu, and all the broth options we've tried so far has been delicious! It's also in a convenient location (next to Allston / across the river from Cambridge).”
“I had the Hot honey glazed chicken sandwich. It was the best vegan sandwich I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had a lot of vegan sandwiches.”
“Great ambiance here and the prices were great for the experience you get. I had the lamb burger because a friend of mine recommended it and it did NOT disappoint! Loved it!”
“I had lunch there today with a colleague and was blown away by the service and the quality of the food! Everything was delicious. The charred rosemary bread was so good and we loved the short beef gyro and falafel. We finished off with an amazing chocolate tres leches tart that was out of this world. I cannot wait to go back!”

“There’s no better place to hang out for a drink in our Nation’s Capitol than The Dubliner. Before we get to the food and the atmosphere their Whiskey List deserves a special shout out. Divided up by Irish Whiskey style/category the list is like mini lesson in Irish Whiskey history. And do they have a great selection? YES Blended, Single Malt, Single Grain, and Single Pot Still - they have it all, and in a beautifully bound list. The Guinness is a very good pint here - 4/5 - with some grip of the head to the glass as it slides down the glass. I had Shepherds Pie for dinner and it was nicely charred on top with a well balanced gravy from first bite to last. Get in here! Sláinte”
“First experience at LFG and wont be our last! Food was ON POINT! So much food and everything was delicious ! Fantastic gluten-free options and super mindful of allergies/safety. Michelle our server was fantastic and accommodating and helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday. LFG has a whole new meaning! Let’s flipping go (LFG) to Lla Familia Giorgios (LFG)!”
“Husband and I went to Maggiano's for the first time today. The food was fantastic and the portions are huge. Our waitress Marisa was very attentive and made sure we had everything we need during our meal here. Highly recommend and we can't wait to come back!”

“Probably one of the best meals ever. From oysters to bread pudding! So amazing! A burst of flavor in every bite! Go out of your way if you have to , you won’t regret! 💕”
“Out of towner who googled ‘casual bar near me’ The food, service, vibe, decor, clientele all first rate.

“Oh man this place is delicious! Had the General Tso’s Chicken and the sichuan dumplings to start. Everything was excellent, chicken was perfectly fried, but did not feel heavy, soo flavorful. Would recommend, come again, and try more menu items.”
“This is an excellent restaurant 100% Greek food and drinks Excellent menu and service Nice vibe and atmosphere- tables inside and out (with heaters) Our daughter is coeliac and therefore cannot eat gluten. The staff were 100% up to speed with a marked up menu and awareness of cross contamination etc Well done p.s One tip for the owners - you have done all the work on GF - why not put the GF menu on the website or mark up the main menu and get the extra custom”
“We absolutely love this place! 10/10 food, service, atmosphere, truly everything! Highly recommend - meatball app, calamari, chicken parm entree, scallop dinner! Can't wait to come back for more.”
“really nice spot. ❤️❤️❤️ to Alex. Great server! Wish you all the best. If you're ever in Northern NH...look us up in Milan/Gorham.”
“By far the best food and atmosphere! Cheryl was our server and was simply outstanding! The portions are huge and the food is fresh and inspired!”

“the service is a bit slow. However, this can be attributed to the fact that Cool Shade's quality of food is fresher than its competitors. The quality comes out it the taste of the food. The dining area is small and cozy. If the service can be improved the restaurant would be around for a long time.”
“Heidi’s House of Coffee is an Oasis in a Food Court full of Fast Food corporate types of restaurants. The coffee is great, pastries are great, and the service from Heidi is second to none. Everything is individualized to your liking. Start your day with a friendly hello, the best coffee, and a genuine smile. You won’t go wrong. Dave”
“Great food. The Pattie’s were made to order and the soup freshly made. Great service and food.. This place is a breath of fresh air in Mattapan. If you haven’t tried it yet hat are you waiting for. Don’t look at the negative reviews as they are just disgruntled competitors looking to create a bad reputation for a hard working business. Give the place a try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”

“we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.”
“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!”
“My wife and I visited Bricco during our first trip to Boston, and let me tell you, it was amazing! Top notch service provided by Manuel Machuca - He was outstanding, and incredibly helpful. The food was upscale and delicious and the atmosphere cozy, inviting, and perfect for date night.”
“Riccardo’s in Boston’s North End was absolutely fantastic for our large sales group. From the very beginning, the team made the entire experience seamless.
Michael, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. Coordinating a large group can be challenging, but he made everything easy — from organizing the space to ensuring every detail was taken care of ahead of time. His communication and flexibility really stood out.
During the dinner, Jordyn did an amazing job taking care of our group. She was attentive, friendly, and somehow managed handling so many people effortlessly while keeping everyone happy and taken care of.
The food, atmosphere, and hospitality were all outstanding, and the level of service truly made the night special. If you’re planning a group dinner in the North End, Riccardo’s is a perfect choice. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“This was our first time going to Ramseys Kitchen, I made reservations on New Years Eve for Valentines Day. It was busy during this day and with the reservations we were seated quickly, we didn't feel rushed at all. Our waiter (David) was friendly and attentive really added to our experience here. The tables had a little wobble to them but wasn't too bad but noticeable. The food was outstanding, we got the Ribeye and the Beef Wellington (out of this world) and looks bigger on tv lol every bite was so so good. The drinks we went with the specialty options the peach drink was very refreshing where you wanted more, and the RK old fashion was velvety smooth and could drink those all the time :-) And the deserts were very tasty. I highly recommend eating at this location anytime you get a chance. The price is what you would expect for a high end eatery the pricing was not inflated on just the name its all within market pricing.”

“What an awesome experience. On our anniversary, we totally lucked out with a last-minute email offering a reservation. We had no idea that was gonna be the best part of our celebration. Everything was great, from the cocktails to the courses that came with our reservation, and the bartenders were super friendly. Totally worth it! We sat at the bar and had such a lovely time.”
“Very flavorful sandwiches and salads. I had the chicken pita, my family members had the vege chikn hummus dip with pita, and the falafel sandwich. All of which were delicious and full of flavor. Very friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. Will definitely be back if I come back to Boston. Very small inside with only a couple tables so be mindful of party size if trying to sit. The to go boxes for the sandwiches were very convenient though!”
“Fine pastries made by chef Sharif and his team… great espresso with a French vibe all the way down to the bistro chairs and marble top tables situated in a picturesque cobblestone alley overhung by ivy and beautiful trees. Portsmouth’s greatest hidden gem that everyone seems to know about.”
“Came to 89 Charles the other day, walking in my first impression was rlly impressed. Low lighting to create an intimate/sexy kind of cocktail place. Our server Crystal, was great even though my date and I came in a little bit later on & stayed until close, they were able to fulfill our request for a cucumber martini which is so appreciated because not a lot of places do… if you can believe it. Everything was timely and not rushed at all. It was such a good atmosphere and I loved the seating, it really makes the space & It’s very easy to stay for a long time. Interested to try more things on the menu! Great place to come on a date or with friends”
“Went for pre-dinner drinks. Had stylish wide leg jeans and a beanie (it was 9 degrees out). All good until our server told us we were only allowed in because they were not busy and jeans and a beanie were not their vibe. They were more going for a Miami nightclub vibe. It was 6 pm - in Boston We were one of two tables there. Unnecessary information.”
“Yummm- I went here for the first time tonight and the food was fabulous! My partner & I have been looking for an elevated pizza place with cocktails, and we finally found our new spot. Loved the paper plane and the homemade pepper dirty martini. For apps, we tried the crostini which was fabulous, & the doc/sausage pizza. Great atmosphere & will definitely be back! A must try.”
“The team at Levain Bakery helped make my son's 16th birthday extra special, and I'm so grateful! Sixteen can be such a hard age to celebrate in a way that feels meaningful, but they completely delivered. From the beginning, they were so easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about making his day memorable. Though mom wasn't cool enough to tag along, they kindly sent videos showing just how happy and special he felt. It's clear they put real heart into what they do, and their warmth and attention to detail turned a simple bakery visit into a cherished birthday memory. Thank you for going above and beyond!”
