“My husband and I were in the area after watching a movie and wanted to grab a drink before heading home. We found this spot and it turned out to be such a great experience! The tiki-style cocktails were delicious, well-balanced, and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere was incredibly unique—it truly felt like being on a boat, with the captain making announcements, background sounds, and even bubbles adding to the immersive experience. Last call was well organized, and overall the vibe was just fun, and memorable.“

“Rosevale Cocktail Room is the perfect spot for a date night! It’s super cozy and I love their jazz nights. They also have great cocktails and food. The atmosphere makes me feel like I’m no longer in NYC. We had a really great night here. I highly recommend checking it out!“

“We did a walk in and it was a very cool awesome themed bar. It was quite loud but the atmosphere was great. Got a few drinks and some food and it was all good. The theming of the drinks was cool too. I got the “Flash Me” and it came with a Polaroid. The prices weren’t horrible compared to other places in NYC either. The only thing was the servers were slow. I had to go to the bar every time to get them to let a server know we wanted to order food or more drinks. Besides that, the servers were nice.“

We came in a group of 6 and we got seated right away, we were supposed to just get a quick drink but after checking out the menu, we ordered their booognese and risotto! Also we shared the pizza and arancini and burrata! Oh! The fennel salad was delish! We ordered their green gimlet and paper plane! Was a blast! We ended up staying there for a couple of hours! “We had a party of about 30 guests, so we reserved the lounge area which is in the back of the bar. We all had such a great time! No fees/minimum spend and the area was very nice! “5/24 Update, the restaurant invited me back for a meal to redeem their service. To be fair, the restaurant was busy for yellowtail season so understandable.

The food was amazing, we got the scallops rice, salon pasta, Wagyu ribs and the clam soup. I prob would do without the scallop rice for future but everything else hit the spot. Esp my favorite, the clam soup.

Thank you Won and the Capitan of the restaurant for taking care of us! I will definitely be back soon again.

Previous update: Came as a party of one, was seated immediately. Sat and waited for 30mins, no one came to serve me or take my order.

“Honest thoughts on Bar Moga:
1. The omelet rice presentation is really cute, felt like a little surprise moment.
2. Overall, most dishes were a bit under-seasoned.
3. It’s pricier than Google suggests, ended up around $75 per person (including 2 drinks).
4. Spicy sauce is available for an extra cost (tasty though).

“Finally made it in to see the remodel. The look is fantastic and worth stopping in to see all the artwork. Although I can't remember his name, the day time bartender was a walking history lesson and offered some great tips for our visit to the city. He new his drinks too. Maybe the most informed and knowledgeable mixologist we have encountered.“
