“I had a wonderful experience here celebrating someone’s birthday! The staff were very attentive and every dish was a hit.
We splurged for the 14 day aged duck and it was so worth it — it’s now my favorite duck I’ve had in NYC! I’d recommend coming with st least 4 people if you order it.
The pan con tomate and frog legs were surprise hits for me, and I loved the chai tres leches cake for dessert.“

“Loved this place! I went with my friend for brunch, and it was a blast! The drinks were perfect, and the food was even better. I had the Eggs Norwegian, and it was amazing. The greens that came with this dish were not generic mesclun mix greens, which I appreciated. They perfectly complemented the dish, this is little but I appreciate the details. Our server was very kind, just enough bubbly and accommodating.“

“For us, the food was hit or miss. Right from the start, the Sardine toast was the star of the night, then there was aRazor clam special, which was 50/50... the clams were great, but we didn't prefer the melon taste to the dressing. After that, we had the mortadella and sourdough. Both were very good. Ate that we had the snap pea salad and the mitake mushrooms with garlic fudge. Again, both were excellent. It was the mains that just fell apart for us. The bucatini had slices of squash on top that were dry, and a bit too much basil, which overpowered the dish. Other than the basil, it was lacking in flavor. The other main was the hake and risotto. While the risotto was heavily citrussed, almost too much so, it was still tasty, but the fish, again, lacked flavor/ seasoning/ salt. Overall, the meal was a 3.5, but we bumped it to a 4, because worth the omission of the mains, it could have been a 4.5-5.“

“Easily our best meal in NY. An intimate and relaxed setting with the most delicious food. We were hosted by Natalie, Eamon and Ryan who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Every aspect of this place, from the food, to the venue, to the service has been carefully considered. We can't wait to go back on our next trip.“

The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“One of the best meals we have had in NYC. Claud completely delivered: intimate room, great energy, excellent service, a serious wine list, and food that was creative without feeling forced. The scallop skewer with lardo, spinach and artichoke mille-feuille, chicken liver agnolotti, and Dover sole with Chartreuse and lemon were all outstanding. We also loved the Boisson Rully, which paired beautifully with the meal. The devil’s food cake was a perfect finish. Easily a 10/10 date-night spot and one of our new favorite restaurants in the city.“

“Great wine selection by the glass with some really interesting U.S. options - the Sonoma Pinot Noir was a highlight for me. I had the Restaurant Week dinner menu which was fantastic value for money. Service was super professional and friendly. Nothing to complain about!“

“The perfect date spot. I cannot recommend enough. Came here for a going away party and the cocktails and wine list were so good I decided to come back in a date. The food surpassed my expectations and the wines were amazing. Although i forgot to take pictures, we had the escargot, shrimp, ahi tuna, and the duck tartare. So so good. Perfectly place to have a good conversation and good food. Service was just what I needed. Nothing over the top but kind, fast, and efficient.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in the West Village. The hosting / wait staff are insanely nice, accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The chef is an actual artist who has a unique knowledge of exotic flavors that mesh perfectly into well known dishes. The kitchen is open air and you can see the dedication that goes into prepping and cooking your meal. The menu is ever changing based on what ingredients are the freshest at the time and it's just really one of those great experiences where you feel like you ate a 10/10 home cooked meal. I am writing this review now because it came to my mind given I have a reservation there tomorrow and am surprised I haven't left a review given my historical experiences (I have probably been at least 10, if not more times). Thanks to the whole team for all the great times I have had at your establishment - keep it up and see you tomorrow :) !“

“I came here as part of a group of four and we ordered one of everything off the menu to share. It feels like upscale Chinese tapas, perfect for sharing with friends, maybe difficult to come as a solo diner for a meal. Everything was incredible, a wonderful spin on Chinese cuisine while still being faithful to classic ingredients. My only mild complaint is that the music is on the loud side, and the chopsticks are form over function. It’s hard to pick anything up with them.“

“Musette Wine bar is a great spot, be it in the morning for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich or later in the evening for wine and finger foods.
The wine bar itself has a rather intimate atmosphere where it's nice and cozy in the morning or down right romantic in the evening hours.
The staff are all kind, amiable and are very happy to provide service with a smile. With the owner himself making appearances and checking in with customers to make sure they are happy.
If you want a spot that you can grab a coffee and bagle before work and a after hours glass of wine to unwind with, look no further“

“Every time we take a trip into the city, we make sure to visit the Cookshop. Love the staff. So friendly and they make the best margaritas! Jiro (sorry if I’m misspelling) is a great bartender.“

“The pancake was 10/10 but could have used more sauce. Sauce was not too heavy and had a nice amount of lightness from the citrus. Also it did not get soggy even sitting in the sauce.
We also had the chicken adobo Filipino platter which was very good but the portion was a little small for the price.
Would definitely come back for another meal.
Drinks looked really good but we did not partake.“

“Our server Raffy and the food were amazing… only issue was with the front desk. I had made a reservation via Open Table awhile ago for my birthday, specifically for the rooftop/outside seating , but was told that my reservation had been made for inside seating and that all the tables outside were booked. I then asked to speak to the manager because I wouldn’t have made an indoor reservation. Suspiciously they were able to get me a table outside.“

“A fun and packed after party spot for us, with welcoming service and Florida weekend vibes. The fairly priced cocktails designed by pedigreed team were really good. No smoke bubble gimmicks here. Burger is also great. Heard happiest meal deal is excellent.“

“Delicious food and cocktails“
“Just ok. The wine was impeccable, we went with a chilled red that was completely perfect. The food however, was nothing special. It was good, fresh, and well-constructed but the dishes were just overly simple. I know the menu rotates based on who is the chef at that time, but I feel like the menu we got was on the more “meh” side compared to examples I’ve seen.
I would definitely do this place as a wine bar first with some light bites to snack on, but don’t know if I would return specifically for the food program.
ALSO— I found it really obnoxious that they let dogs in the backyard, you never really know who is allergic or what a dog‘s temperament is and either way I just found it really offputting that people were just letting their dogs go up to random patrons during their visit. For a $170 visit I’d hope for more sophistication.“

“Slow evening so may have been the night we were there. Food ok, tuna dish was well done vs rare but restaurant offered to correct and comped it. Shrimp appetizer was fresh and very good. Server disappeared for a while, for $100pp would like more service. Restaurant itself is very nice and like that it is easy to access from the street.“

“Vanguard on the Upper West Side has become a staple for us since we moved to this area 4 years ago. The interior is so charming, the wine selection is always great (and rotates every season), and the folks who work there are absolute gems! Getting to know Isabel and Jacob behind the bar has been such a joy, and they always give the best recommendations. Don’t sleep on the charcuterie board and other light snacks - they’re all delish!“

“Pizza was delicious (and larger than expected, which made the price point more bearable. Limited options, but love that they let you do half and half of pizza type. Alexis, server, was really great. Some of the other servers could learn from her.“

“Ruffian is a cute little wine bar with a deeply impressive wine menu. I tried their Greek wine flight, which was absolutely delicious, along with two of their tapas that did not disappoint.
Berkshire Pork Shoulder (4.5/5): Very tender, and the sauce paired well with the meat.
Smoked Duck Breast (4.5/5): I’m not usually a fan of berry-style sauces on meat, but this worked well with the duck. The smokiness really pulled through and balanced everything out.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“The Roxy provided an incredible evening from start to finish. Our waiter, Bruce, was exceptionally welcoming and brought a warm, inviting energy to our table. We started with the ahi tuna tartare, which was simply fantastic; the freshness and richness of the fish were unmatched, and every bite had the perfect firmness. Following Bruce's recommendation, we also tried the charred octopus, which lived up to its wonderful menu description. The overall quality of the products is clear in every dish, and the wine selection is elegant. We enjoyed a premium glass of wine that, while pricier, was absolutely worth it given the high standards and exceptional experience provided.“

“A true 5 star experience. I arrived early ahead of my 6 o clock reservation and I’m glad I did because thanks to our amazing server, we reserved one of the apparently only 12 available for each night, succulent, off-menu melty, umami in a bite burgers. Well worth the hype.
Along with the very laid back yet sophisticated British vibes and friendly service, we also ordered the oysters kilpatrick - another burst of flavor bite, the potato with crab and lardo, the crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside curried lamb scotch egg, rounded out by a perfectly cooked sirloin steak and chips which were fluffy and battered. Whatever special steak sauce they had took it over the top.
I forgot how I found this place, but I know it won’t be my last. Apparently they have a great lunch vibe as well.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“We had such a wonderful evening at Fleming's Edgewater. Sergio took amazing care of our family. He was so kind, friendly, and attentive, and he somehow always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask. The manager also came by several times to check on us, and you could tell everyone genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. There were six of us, and every single steak was cooked exactly how we liked it. Everything was delicious, and the view made the evening even more special. The best part was seeing how excited our son was. We were celebrating his birthday, and the staff surprised him with dessert and sparklers. The smile on his face was priceless, and it's something our family will always remember. Thank you to Sergio, the management team, and everyone at Fleming's Edgewater for maki“
