“We eat at Hot Fish quite often, and usually order the same dishes. I was lucky enough to be their "Tasting Panel Foodie" winner, and was invited to try some different items from the menu. If you want to indulge in an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you have to try the Fresh Striped Bass. I ordered it with spicy sauce, but there are six different flavors to chose from. We also ordered the Sliced Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was so tender and juicy, paired with onions and bell peppers in a savory, black pepper sauce. Then we ordered Dry Pot Cabbage, a mouth-watering Sichuan dish that you have to try. For our last course, we had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, Hot Fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff and service were exceptional. I highly recommend dining here when you are looking for a great Sichuan experience.“

“We had such a great meal at Pig Heaven! The BBQ spare ribs were so tender, flavorful, and perfectly glazed. We also really enjoyed the soup dumplings, Peking duck, Sesame chicken, noodles, and Mapo tofu. Everything came in generous portions and was great for sharing. The staff was friendly and welcoming too. Definitely a great Chinese spot on the Upper East Side. We’d love to come back!“

However, my expectations were surpassed! There were 4 of us dining - we shared 6 pork and scallion potstickers, cold beef and cucumber, 6 pork soup dumplings, grandma braised pork belly, sesame chicken, and dry pot chicken soup. Everything was incredible. Meat was tender, everything was flavorful, came very fast and tasted fresh and hot. Highlights were the soup dumplings, potstickers, and sesame chicken. Give this place a try - amazing value and great experience, especially with the price of the surrounding establishments!“

“Found this gem today and quite happy we did! We had lobster with pan fried noodles and young chow fried rice. For a party of 3, it was more than enough and with one order of the har gow dim sum we even have enough to take home! The lobster was fresh and the noodles delicious, the young chow fried rice is very tasty and not oily. The staff are very courteous and attentive and the place is clean and welcoming.“

“Waited an eternity to get in - almost 2 hrs. We got our names down for an hour later, came back at that time, and then had to wait down in the lower level all over again before finally getting a table. The food itself was just okay, nothing too bad or too good based on what we ordered (steamed dumplings, spicy noodles, and chicken fried rice). Overall, the wait is definitely not worth the food.“

“I was craving some dumplings and I walked by Chairman Sun and saw their menu had just what I wanted!

The Pork Soup Dumplings were a 5/5. Full of flavor and the perfect texture. The soy sauce and flavor of the pork matched perfectly.

My Scallion Cucumber salad was a perfect flavor profile for me as a I love a garlic moment. The dressing was drinkable…and the cucumber cuts were hardy and a perfect fresh bite.

Lastly, the spring rolls, solid and great flavor.

“You know, I'm not from NY, so maybe my standards aren't as high, but I feel like the place was possibly the best Chinese food I've ever had! Staff was nice and efficient and food and sauces were just a step above everything I've ever had.“

“So much better than your run-of-the-mill Chinese takeout place! Their hot and sour soup is extremely flavorful and not watered down and uses quality ingredients! Their cold peanut noodles are wonderful. The sweet and sour pork is lightly fried and so crispy and airy. It is one of the rare places to get quality sweet and sour pork where they serve actual meat instead of stuffing it with fat... it's so delicate and melts in your mouth. The servers are very helpful and kind.“

“Went to Moon Kee This past Friday. (8/21/26) I had the Garlic Shrimp and Scallops, Shrimp Rice Roll and some dumplings. The food was prepared well; and the portion sizes were generous. Flavor was decent.

My partner and I arrived at 9:40PM. When they say they close at 10:00PM, they really mean they close at 10. The service definitely suffered based on that and the food probably does too, considering that we were told it was too late to order certain items. If you want to eat there, I suggest getting there earlier, and you'll likely have a better experience than I did. I definitely plan to try them again at an earlier hour because I feel like it may be better than what I had.“

I say at the bar and had Soup Dumplings, Shumai and Steamed Rice Roll with BBQ Pork… it’s like a Pork Bun without the Calories! Afternoon Happy Hour large Saki 1/2 price!!! If you’re in Gramacy, you don’t need to take the trip to China Town for excellent Dim Sum. Additionally, they have a Japanese Hibachi Table upstairs.“

“Not only is the Happy Hour fantastic (a rarity nowadays truth be told where you would get a super watered down drink/mediocre HH bites), but the service is impeccable. In particular, the bartender Matt is fantastic. I’ll be honest, I’d come just to see him & every bartender should aspire to have his candor/attentiveness- he makes ending work on a good note, what’s not to love? Circling back, all the bites are great. My particular favorite is the Peking duck. All in all, this place is a gem in the midst of chaotic/overly touristy Midtown East restaurants/bars.“

“We are from Australia here on vacation, and we stopped in to grab some dinner while walking back to our hotel. Their food is absolutely delicious. Generous servings, well priced and great service. You cannot get good Chinese food like this in Australia these days, despite the large Chinese population. This place is a gem and highly recommended. The General Tso's chicken was sooooo good. My wife's pork noodles were also really tasty.

We will be back before we travel back home.“

We had the crabmeat soup dumplings, haw gow, pork/shrimp shu mai, Singapore noodles, spicy shrimp, Chinese broccoli, half order Peking duck, bbq platter and Sapporo beer to wash it down. The duck was fresh with crispy skin and portion was just right for 2 people. Soup dumplings were flavorful, bbq platter was on the small side but tasty, spicy shrimp were great. I've order take out before but this was the first time eating at the restaurant. I was not disappointed and will be back again.“

“Been here a few times for to-go orders. the quality is solid - dumplings are mostly consistent, as are the chicken dishes. The entree portions are good for the price. Very bare-bones seating area (2-3 small parties tops) but that doesn't affect the food.“

“Tangy Noodle is not the typical Chinese restaurant that New Yorkers are used to ordering from. We are accustomed to the traditional looking and tasting fast food menus that we grew up with. Just one look at their menu with the variety of photos of the dishes, makes your mouth water with anticipation. They are visually new and inviting, well-crafted, and taste far better than the average Chinese takeout. I highly recommend Tangy Noodle for the experience of a home cooked Chinese meal. The staff at the 8th Ave and 15th street location are so nice and friendly. Ask for Cloe, Yumi and the manager Mailin. You won’t be disappointed. Tell them David recommended you.“
