“White rice red beans and teriyaki chicken yum yum.
The place is clean and smells good. The servers speak both Spanish and English very well, which is great as you cater to the majority of the customers.
The setup is nice as you have a sitting bar for a quick grab (eat and go area).
The food layout is good. No flies, no bugs seen.. I love it...
Again, that food is delicious, not salt at all... very good, and thanks
Visited again and got white rice red bean and teriyaki chicken, and it tasted awesome just the same. The food was hot and it looked good.
Different people serve food and different people handle money... very good“

“Classy place, very friendly staff, starting with the nice hostess. Got a booth in the back. Ordered black label and regular burgers, bone marrow, French onion soup. Had a great server who told us fries were cooked with refined peanut oil since a guest had a peanut allergy. Refilled waters and drinks and checked on us a few times. Oysters are amazing, not a single bad one and no grit either, so shout out to the shuckers. One of my favorite places in the city, can’t wait to go back.“

“Went for brunch. Good food but not great, pricey, with slightly over salted ham in the Croque Madame for my liking. We had a reservation for 4 but that changed to 6. They really couldn't accommodate that change, but it was last minute so I don't hold that against them. Very busy place with lots of energy.“

“Had to swing by the new Boucherie and see what this new addition was bringing to the Chicago scene. My visit on a Sunday at 7:30pm was way different than my visit on a Thursday night at 8:30pm. Sunday was calm, spacious with a very moderate noise level but Thursday night was oddly the complete opposite - it was loud, busy and had much less space! 😂 I’d definitely say be cognizant of that when you go; the vibes can vary. The drinks were good - my favorite was “La vie en rose” and the French martini was tasty as well. Loved the escargots and the garlic butter sauce they were drowned in! I also had the saumon roti and that choron sauce on top was delish! I wasn’t a fan of the Paris-Brest for dessert, but the crème brûlée was good! The interior is so beautiful! 😍 Stop by for a visit and see how you like this new Chicago restaurant! Ask for Manuel to be your waiter - he was the best!!!“

“This restaurant blew me away, which I was not expecting. Everything about it was magnificent. Plus top end food and service without any stuffiness. Plus they had a wonderful restaurant week menu on top of a legitimate strawberry shortcake. Will definitely go again and take friends. What a place!“

“Delicious 3 course lunch. The calypso cocktail was smooth and strong. Scallops were large large and perfectly cooked came with a delicious butternut squash sauce favorite part of the meal. The octopus also came with the sauce. The steelhead trout had a super crispy skin with a beautiful flake to the fish.“

“As return customers, each visit continues to exceed our expectations. From the moment you walk in, the service is nothing short of impeccable: warm, personable, and genuine.
We have enjoyed almost every dish on the menu over multiple visits, and not a single bite has ever fallen short of phenomenal. This most recent experience was no exception with memorable standouts including the Madai and Zebra Tomato starters, and Black Bass main. We always find a fantastic bottle of wine from their extensive wine list and their sommelier staff is highly knowledgeable.
It’s not just a meal here—it’s a culinary experience we look forward to every single time. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!“

“The shrimp and lamb were delicious and tasted very warm and homemade. Don’t skip on dessert, the corn cake was very good with some of the freshest ice cream I’ve had. The service was also really good, I recommend this place for a casual dinner!“

“LeBernardin is the kind of dining experience you'd dress up for, book in advance, and immerse yourself in for hours. If you're looking for a taste of New York City dining elegance or a memorable evening, this is the place to be. “We had a wonderful experience at Little Rock on Saturday. I made the reservation a week or so ago so we were very fortunate to get a table. However, we were a little disappointed to realize that our table was at the bar and not in the main dining area. That would be my only criticism, particularly since there were so many open tables in the main dining room for the entire time of our meal. Other than that, it was exceptional. “

“An incredible dining experience in Brooklyn. The tasting menu feels like a theatrical performance — beautifully choreographed from start to finish. The French-Japanese fusion dishes are refined, balanced, and full of surprises. Service is attentive, the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the location is very convenient by subway (but parking is nearly impossible). The duck pie is a stunning presentation, though the other dishes impressed me more in flavor. Perfect for a special occasion — they even offer a small cake if noted for a celebration. Would definitely return to try a new menu.“

“Honestly, La Ripaille is fine. The wine selection is good, the servers are very nice, however the owner is exceptionally rude and uncomfortable to be around. He openly scolded servers doing a fantastic job in the middle of the dining room for no reason. The food is good enough, but a bit overpriced. That being said, the fries taste remarkably like fries that I'm sure you've had before... that's all I'll say about that if you get what I mean. Overall, pretty good, would consider going back.“

“Sometimes you have an experience that makes you wish you could clone yourself and align your clone -so that your clone... could eat everything on the menu that you didn't pick the first time around. What a fantastically funky ride!!! Classic Bistro French with NYC attitude. There is something transcendent about those soufflé potatoes, it's like... the greatest elevated deconstructed, sour cream and onion potato chips...and at the risk of sounding like Moon Unit Zappa...”totally tubular!” What I loved most other than the food, (I wish I had another clone who could go back and order all of the other desserts, but I had my heart set on the Ile Flottant (nobody does that anymore!) which was a cloud of vanilla) was the VIBE. Its FUN! Dare I say...convivial? Like my experience recently at Wild Cherry- your sister funkified watering hole of splendor-it is a restaurant that is almost designed to force conversation with the people sitting next to you, which is a decidedly Parisian experience-marrying a New York experience that has long since gone away with the advent of horrible things called cell phones. By the end of the night? The couple who were seated next to us were clinking glasses and cracking up with my husband and I. Turns out? They had an identical order appetizer main course and dessert to us just in the opposite order!!!! It is my hope that this incredible restoration which both honors old New York gastronomic history with Parisian tradition is here to stay because I've gotta come back and try a whole lot more !“

“We didn't make a reservation, but we were willing to sit outside, which was enjoyable. We were able to observe New York walk by as we ate the very tasty food. The escargot, halibut, duck and banana caramel dessert were all so good. Definitely a restaurant to try and get to when visiting NYC.“

“I had been wanting to try HOUSE for a while now, being a regular shopper at Dashi Okume. However, had been wary of fine dining experiences in Greenpoint after trying 2 so-so places that privileged novelty over flavor. Well let me tell you, HOUSE did not disappoint.
Picture this. You arrive in a quiet street in Greenpoint, with the typical warehouse-y yet clean, modern and minimalist vibe. You see the interior through giant bay windows of a dimly lit store with Japanese products and ceramics. You see people waiting inside and other patrons dining at the café. By then the store is closed, so you ring the intercom to get in. You wait to be called to the HOUSE, in the back of the store. It feels like you are at your friend's house, and your friend is a sophisticated person with a beautiful house and he cooks for you. The atmosphere is quiet but elevated. There are 10 seats. And you are hosted by 4-5 people. It feels luxurious. You may start the dinner as perfect strangers, but you certainly make friends along the experience.
And the food is incredible. Your friend is an amazing cook. From start to finish, the story is coherent, with subtle development and transitions that never miss a beat or take you somewhere uncomfortable. Flavors are predominantly Japanese forward with some international ingredients and techniques. Noting for example the Monaka filled with ricotta and corn or the french tuile on top of a burrata with berries, reminiscent of Scandinavian flavors.
The highlight of the menu for me was the noodles. With a fragrant Dashi and rich egg noodles covered in egg yolk and fish roe, the final dish on the meal is an unmistakably Japanese grand finale, with an explosion of flavors.
Fantastic experience. Thank you team.“

“We fancied a light brunch on our way up to the Broadway theatre for a matinee show of The Buena Vista Social Club and as we had enjoyed our brunch at the Tartinery café & bar in Greenwich Village last week, we decided to try their branch on Park Ave.
The café was very busy with a lot of office workers having lunch, however, we were shown to a small table for two without having to wait. The menu at this branch was very silmilar to the one at Greenwich Village, however, they didn't have the eggs benedict my wife really enjoyed there, so she had the avocado on toast with the additional of a soft poached eggs today, which she really enjoyed, and a latte. I went for the lunch combo deal of a delicious creamy chestnut & mushroom soup with a fantastic chicken salad petite tartine with celery & pistachio. We also ordered a very tasty ham & cheese croissant to share whilst we waited for our main courses.
We were served by a very friendly and helpful waitress and used the male & female toilets at the back of the café. There's also a takeaway counter near the entrance selling pastries & hot drinks to go.“

“Dining at Le Rivage has become a family tradition. My MIL would eat there when she lived in NYC decades ago. She returned with her son (my husband) when he was young. Now, in 2025, we took our boys there on their first visit to NYC. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is always wonderful. Highly recommended.“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. We were both very pleased and we will be dining here again very soon. If you have not been here, you should definitely give them a visit. Peace and Love, Chele from the Block.“
