“Drinks are extremely unique and delicious. Loved the use of the shrimp paste in their drinks. It adds just the right amount of nuance in a drink. Banh mi was also delicious and it was great that it came with a side of truffle soup. Earth and Nicky were fantastic at the bar. Cant wait to come back with friends soon.“

“I've had Bahn Mi's all over NYC but this place is the most flavorful. They pack the sandwich with well marinated veggies, the meats are always tender and bread is nice and crusty. The prices are reasonable too at $11. I wish they offered appetizers too like fried spring rolls.“

“Saigon Social is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in the LES of Manhattan. Owned and operated by Helen Nguyen who uses her wonderful restaurant to prepare food for those in need for various organizations in NYC. She is a wonderful person and an amazing chef using her classical training to prepare amazingly authentic and forward thinking Vietnamese dishes. It’s a must visit!!!!“

“We really enjoyed our experience at Mam! We didn't have reservations but they were able to accommodate us within 10 minutes of our arrival. I know we werr very lucky, but the team seemed incredibly efficient which I am sure was 80% of our luck. ;)
The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining what we were eating and how Vietnamese people typically eat the items. Each dish we had was fabulous in its own way. I particularly enjoyed the eggplant and fried vegetable rolls.
I don't think I have ever had Vietnamese food, but based on my experience at Mam I will plan to sample more.“

“I love this place very much. I have to write a review because this place is very special to me now and I have to express my gratitude. I've been coming here with my father for some time now, and today we had the super delicious crepe, calamari, and pho, SO DELICIOUS and after finishing the meal with my father, he said that it has been a while since he ate so deliciously. Because of things that have happened to our family in recent years, meals that feel warm don't come as often anymore. So him saying that today filled me with relief. We always leave Sao Mai smiling because we eat so much and laugh about how full we are. In this restaurant, I get to have a meal with my father that feels so welcome, and provides me with a comfort of being in the moment with him.
Every single meal we have here is met with the utmost care, not just because we are customers, but because we can tell that they really do care. I truly truly truly cannot recommend this place enough. The pho is so hearty, their apps are unmatched, and seriously a gem. Also their Vietnamese iced coffee? OOOOOOOOO it is so good. It is strong AS IT SHOULD BE and just refreshes me everytime. SAO MAI MY DAD AND I LOVE YOU!“

“I honestly can’t remember how many times I’ve been back to this place, but that probably says enough on its own. The food here is genuinely excellent, especially the chicken pho. The chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and I really like how a squeeze of lime lifts the broth and makes it taste even brighter and fresher. The portions are generous, the service is consistently good, and the restaurant is always clean, well-kept, and nicely decorated. I often come here for lunch with my coworkers, and it has become one of those reliable spots we keep returning to. If there’s one downside, it’s that the restaurant only opens from lunchtime onward, so sadly it’s not an option when I’m craving a good bowl of pho in the morning.“

“The food here is soo good. Every now and then I stop buying food outside because food is way too expensive and sometimes it’s just not that good. I was so hungry and walked by and wanted to finally try it after having passed it a few times… No regrets at all!!! The staff there are so patient and chill. I got the lemongrass chicken rice bowl and it was just so good. Decent prices, clean shop with seating, good flavorful food. Dk when I’ll be back but I’m excited to try some other stuff“

“Tried their OG Banh Mi, and WOW.... the baguette was incredible, easily one of the best Banh Mis I've ever had. The coconut cream coffee was also delicious and paired perfectly with the sandwich. Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.
One tip: instead of waiting in line for hours, I ordered online for pickup. super quick and convenient. That said, I'd love to dine in next time to enjoy the full experience.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a cute and cozy spot! The food was super yummy, the vibe was chill and comfortable, and the staff were so kind—especially Pim, who made us feel really welcome 💕
I had the crunchy spring rolls and shrimp summer rolls (no pics because I was way too hungry 😅), then the Pho Dặc Biệt, Hanoi-style Banh Mi, and finished with the most perfect Flan Cà Phê.
💥 I dare you to try the Pho—the portion is HUGE and totally worth it! Trust me, you’ll leave full and happy 😊“

“EDIT: I take my pho reviews very serious. I’ve been here 3 times. The first 2 times were great. The 3rd time on April 4, the broth was not the same. The meat was not tender. The service felt unwelcoming. I brought my friends from out of town here and was disappointed. For 5 stars you have to be consistent. After this time, I may not go back.
To be fair, below was my first review:
I’ve traveled the world looking for different pho spots. This place is what you’re looking for. Their coffee is also great, not too sweet.“

“My friends took me here and I honestly enjoyed everything we ordered. The flavors felt fresh, balanced, and very comforting from start to finish. Every dish that came to the table disappeared pretty quickly, which is usually a good sign.
That being said, I do not have enough experience with Vietnamese cuisine to judge how traditional or authentic it is compared to other places. I can only speak as someone who simply enjoyed the meal a lot.
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and it felt like one of those places people come back to regularly. I would definitely return to explore more of the menu next time“

“Found a solid spot inside LIC Food Hall — Pho Vital 🍜
They have lots of options and combo meals that are actually worth it. We got the lemongrass chicken rice and grilled pork vermicelli, both super flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken was so juicy and well marinated, and everything came with fresh veggies on the side.
Also tried the warm ginger apple tea and Thai tea — both hit the spot. Perfect place for a refreshing meal when NYC weather gets hot ☀️“

“I have to say this place is now one of my absolute favorites. It’s been a week and I’m still obsessed with the food. I’m heading back as soon as I finish this because it was that incredible.
We found it by accident—the amazing smell pulled us in while heading to a nearby café. We both got brisket pho: my husband with extra noodles and meat, me with lemongrass spicy broth and extra meat. The flavors were perfect, tender brisket, just the right kick. We were too busy savoring to talk at first.
Our server was so sweet and offered us free sodas on the house when she heard it was our first time. The vibe was cozy and relaxed.
The french fries looked amazing next door—next time we’re sharing them for sure.
If you love Vietnamese food, go! Everything was spot on. Can’t wait to be back 😊“

“Twin Tails is excellent Thai-Vietnamese fusion. Excellent-tasting natural food every time with great sauces, spices and textures. I've tried probably close to half of their menu by now. Relatively fast service even when busy. Availability is good - have always been able to get a seat with no or minimal wait (but we'd like to keep it that way so don't share this place with too many people). Convenient location. Not too noisy or crowded. Nice interior decor and vibes. Very reasonable prices given all aspects including food quality. Some tables are slightly small (depending on how much you order), but if you sit on a sofa or next to the windows there's at least more space to place unchecked belongings, etc. Something for essentially everyone on the menu, whether you're pescetarian (like me), a regular omnivore, carnivore or herbivore (vegan/plant-based).“

“First off, omg, Bruh!
I went there when I was feeling under the weather and wanted something warm so I paid $20 for a bowl and thought it was expensive because near my house, a bowl of pho costs $14 at max with extras. Then the bowl came and the portion changed my first impression. Not bad at all for a $20 bowl, very big portion. The moment the soup entered my mouth, I realized why they charged $20 for a bowl. So rich in flavor and tastes like a bowl filled with nutrients. The beef slices, etc etc, the ingredients compliment each other. I knew it was worth it when I finished the bowl.
Verdict: Totally worth it and will come again.“

“I love the #5 but it’s almost never available whenever I visit. Ugh. But I’m still giving tenten 5 stars because when I am lucky enough to order #5, I forgive them immediately. Other menu items are super flavorful, too. Also I love their condiments. Please please please sell your hot sauce separately!!!!!!“
“We picked up our beef pho as usual it was very good. Place is great for takeout. The broth and temperature were perfect. We have ordered three times and they have always been consistent with the seasoning and service. In terms of atmosphere, they have a small seating area the place was clean . Takeout in my opinion is the way to go. Highly recommend the Pho“

“Vietspot Pho Noodle and Sandwich is one of those small NYC Vietnamese spots that feels simple at first, but delivers more than expected once you actually sit down and try the food. The place is compact, usually busy during lunch, and focused on quick counter service rather than a full dine-in experience.
The banh mi is the standout here: crisp bread with a good balance of fillings, fresh herbs, and a slight kick from jalapeños if you add them. The pho is decent, especially the broth when it’s served hot and fresh, with generous portions of meat and noodles. It’s not overly complex, but it’s comforting and satisfying for a quick meal in the Financial District.
What makes it work is consistency and speed. Even when there’s a line, the staff moves efficiently and you rarely wait long for your order.
Tips: avoid peak lunch hours if you want a smoother experience, as seating is very limited. If it’s your first visit, try both a banh mi and a small pho broth on the side—it’s a good way to experience their best combination. Takeout is often the more practical option.“

“Came here after a failed trip to Sojourn Social.
Got amazing service for my takeout order. The woman taking my order answered all of my questions and they immediately began working on my order. Once I ordered, she immediately walked to the back to make the coffee I ordered.
I also always feel at ease when I see staff taking their lunch break inside. One person (out of many!l was taking their break, and they were enjoying the food.“

“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“
