First note: they have the worst Diet Coke I have ever had in my entire life. Completely flat and tastes like it came out of a dirty gun.

HOWEVER every time I come here I get the chicken platter, Mac and cheese, and a tuna melt. The chicken is succulent with a beautiful breading and is piping hot every time. It is served with a sweet honey butter that goes beautifully with the biscuits as well. The biscuits are good but not mind blowing, they are small and served 3 per order. The Mac and cheese can be dry depending on the batch but this most recent visit was perfectly creamy but still firm enough to slice. It is a baked style. The tuna melt is one of my favorites in the city. It has a massive amount of tuna inside but feels lighter than others I have had. It almost takes like the tuna is whipped. I can’t figure out what they do to the tuna but it’s great. The best part about this place is that the kitchen is open late. We actually came this time because the restaurant we were trying to go to had closed their kitchen early. It’s really great having this option in the area.“

“I am an avid Lula Bird customer. There are times where I order once a week because it’s is delicious and filling.

This is a pick-up/delivery only establishment. Do not expect a seat, but trust, it’s worth it!!! My tip is to order from their site directly, so much easier. I never have had to wait more than 30 mins for my order and that’s being generous. I see some people have had a bad delivery but I can’t say the same.

I’ve been ordering from here over 6 years and I love it. It’s one of my favorite places to order from because of their daily menu changes. I normally order chicken, half a chicken so I can get ~3 meals out of it! Love some good leftovers. The side options are all delish!! You really can’t go wrong with their usual sides / daily side options. My favorite sauce is the Green Sauce although I’ll mix it up with the Tzaziki Sauce.

“Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. It is rich in flavor without being salty or over seasoned. My second reason, there is such a huge variety of options to choose from. They have all the typical protein that you’re craving for on any particular day. My third reason, is the price is absolutely unbeatable. I mean, they offer incredible prices despite the current state of our economy. They have a couple of options for dessert as well whether that’s pastry or ice cream. Good amount of seats to dine in. They also have a wide variety of breakfast dishes and don't mind customizing them as needed.“

“This is the only Halal spot around the area, relatively affordable, and relatively good tasting. Very good if you live around the area and feel hungry for some fast food.

One thing I liked about this place, is a while back, a worker gave me assurance that this specific spot was 100% Halal.

Workers are quite polite. I don’t think I ever had bad service. They used to not charge taxes for cash, idk if they started doing that or if it’s only for cards.
