“SERIOUSLY, DO NOT SKIP THE CHICKEN SANDWICH!

This place is honestly one of my go-to's whenever I'm not totally sure what I'm in the mood for but I know I want something really good, and they never, ever let me down. Their wine list is solid too. The staff are always super friendly and on top of things. Everything comes out perfectly seasoned and the portions are seriously generous.

My usual order is the chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad and fries on the side. You can't go wrong with it.“

“Really good, i came and ordered 6 wings, unfortunately they weren't full wings but they were really tasty and had meat on them so i cant complain, probably the best wings i ever had. Highly recommend if you love wings. Also the cashier was kind enough to bring out the food to me while I was in my car, really appreciate that.“

“Never disappoints! My first Chicken Stop experience was when my kid's school served it at a PTA meeting 2 years ago. My life has never been the same!! The chicken and that Stop sauce are what dreams are made of! I stopped by in person today to pick up some of their epic tres leches cake for my son's bday and everyone there was so helpful and kind. Truly a neighborhood gem♡“

“Service was A+. Only one person working and he absolutely crushed it. Everything we ordered was excellent. Spicy chicken sandwich was juicy as hell and had just the right amount of heat, though I wish there were an option to turn it up one more notch. The food is delicious, the burgers flavorful, the lamb soft with a hint of common Halal food cart notes but with a twist that raises it to another level of culinary experience.

Remember when it used to be a fried chicken spot? The new place has not been lost in terms of service and comfort food. Trust me. There's still a lot of fried tasty foods for those nights when you want to stay in with a movie and appetizers.

They have platters for dinner nights or lunch dates.

The hummus and lentil soup are some of my favorite lighter things to order.

I'm making this review because a lot of people ask me about this place. They're mainly skeptical to go in because it's still a friend chicken spot in their hearts but they're always curious to know how good the food from their new menu.

Hands down, no bs, it's amazing.

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. “First time at The Commodore and we thought Labor Day afternoon at 4pm, how many guests could there possibly be if we showed up at 3:45pm? Well, to our surprise, a crowd was already gathered outside so that was a great sign of a great spot. We were there for their well-known fried chicken, great bar drinks and super relaxing Williamsburg bar vibes. This spot is bigger than it seems from the outside. Multiple areas including the bar, indoor booths, tables and outdoor seating as well. The Commodore definitely catered to everyone's desire.

We sat at the bar but note, The Commodore is self-sitting meaning order drinks and food at the bar, keep tab open or close tab immediately and you get your drink right away, but they do serve your food to your table. The staff is genuinely nice and service is very professional.

Located right near BQE and Metropolitan, this area is relatively easy for parking especially on Sunday and or holiday.“

“I frequent this Popeyes locations fairly often, and they never let me down in terms of quality and freshness. The quality of the food has always been good and never disappointing. What really stands out is the professional and excellent customer service provided by Umar (works the front counter taking orders and packing orders at the same time), not just for me, but also any and all patrons I witness coming and going while I'm waiting on an order. Umar is always courteous, professional, and efficient in what he does. He's always on top of his orders, whether it be in person or an online/mobile order making sure everything is in check, and whether the kitchen is on top of pushing out whatever is needed to fulfill an order. Always friendly, courteous, and professional with a smile. Takes orders, prepares, and pushes orders out as fast as humanly possible without any discrepancies. Occasionally, there might be something out of stock which was ordered ahead of time off the app, but Umar will always make every reasonable effort to make things right. Location has also always been clean and tidy. Overall, definitely would recommend this Popeyes location due to their cleanliness, quality of food, and the excellent service provided by Umar and his team.

“Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. Rice cooked perfect as well. I remember last year I came here the rice was dry.“

“The most authentic Dominican 🇩🇴 food that I have ever had in all of Brooklyn. I wish I can give them 7 stars! The first reason being is the flavor/seasoning. It is rich in flavor without being salty or over seasoned. My second reason, there is such a huge variety of options to choose from. They have all the typical protein that you’re craving for on any particular day. My third reason, is the price is absolutely unbeatable. I mean, they offer incredible prices despite the current state of our economy. They have a couple of options for dessert as well whether that’s pastry or ice cream. Good amount of seats to dine in.
