“Fun casual spot to grab a bite before heading to a Nets or Liberty game! The chicken was my favorite! It was so flavorful and the spicy level was perfect for me. It was just enough to kick but not overwhelming the flavour. The sides are fantastic too.“

“Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

Seriously, the measure of great Caribbean food is the rice (cook up or rice and peas). If they can nail that, you know they know what they’re doing. Definitely recommend this spot.“

“I got stood up here, but that's not gonna stop be from writing an awesome review. I had the chicken burger and it was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The drinks were great/ ice cold beer and mixed drinks were on point. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. “I think I can honestly say, without hyperbole, that this was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. The only way I can describe the chicken sandwich is it was immaculate. “This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

“Probably one of the most excellent grab and go meals money can buy! Get a rotisserie quartered and point at the sides from the hot table to go with it. They’re all good, especially the Mac and plantains. Sausages, steamed veggies and ribs also slap. I dooooooo miss the sandwiches though :)“

“Yesterday was my first time eating there. I work across the street and went for lunch. When I left work yesterday evening I had to go back there to get more food for my daughter and for me. Delicious and pretty fair prices for the neck of the woods it’s located in. I had the chicken and waffles twice and my daughter had the chicken fingers combo with fries. “This is the only Halal spot around the area, relatively affordable, and relatively good tasting. Very good if you live around the area and feel hungry for some fast food.

One thing I liked about this place, is a while back, a worker gave me assurance that this specific spot was 100% Halal.

Workers are quite polite. I don’t think I ever had bad service. They used to not charge taxes for cash, idk if they started doing that or if it’s only for cards.

“Those place is great. Carrying and listening stuff. It is clean and you almost always can get parking. You will get freshly fried goods. Potato fries are crunchy and full of flavor. The chicken is juicy and crispy. One thing that I will not recommend is chicken wings. Very poor recipe. I selected sweet potato fries and rice and beans as the two sides. The sweet potato fries got soggy in the container. They could have pack the sweet potato fries separately to keep it from being soggy. The rice and beans were a bit dry.“

Arguably one of the best fried chicken spots IN Brooklyn. Just go in there and get yourself a plate of fried chicken “with the sauce” and you’ll be pleasantly delighted. Been coming here for some years. They used to be at another location but thankfully I found them here and hopefully they are here to stay.

My favorite dish from here is the garlic chicken with rice and beans, as well as the fresh juices. One can make a dish off of the snack foods and smaller dishes by themselves; the standard rice platter that came with the aforementioned chicken lasted me for a few days, there was so much. They also have a wide variety of breakfast dishes and don't mind customizing them as needed.“

“Chicken and rice is beautiful, best I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They improved a lot since I was in town a year ago. The marinated chicken is very tasty, I think they use tomato, and the chicken is very well cooked, not greasy or anything. It is a little spicy tho, but the rest of the food balances it out. Rice cooked perfect as well. I remember last year I came here the rice was dry.“

Then he went to order again today and I looked at their menu. I requested a buffalo chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll. It was delicious!!
