“Exceptional eatery! Diner style all the way. Had eggs and corned beef hash with potatoes. Grapefruit juice (tropicana) and took a cinnamon roll with me (the best). Hash was not crispy but LOVELY that way, eggs were done just right, over medium, the heavily buttered rye toast dipped provided excellent yolk dips. Potatoes were abundant, and had morsels of pepper and onion. Ketchup exploded on me a lil..(can't put the bottles in the fridge). However they were attentive and apologetic following the incident.
I made my return for a waffle, the way it had tantalized my nostrils on the previous visit was inspiring of such. Waffle with banana was perfect. Filling, fluffy, crispy, sweet and savory.
p.s. ask for the salsa verde :)

Even if the line is long the employees are very fast and the service is excellent. If you're in the area, stop by. There's indoor and outdoor seating if you don't want to take your order to go. They have different drink specials at different times so there's always something new.“

I ordered a produce box and a fruit box, plus proteins and everything was super fresh, minimally packaged and flavorful. I love the option of being able to switch out items in your produce box subscription. I spent here about 2/3 of what I would spend in the grocery stores on Manhattan. I'm looking forward to my next box already.“

lovely refuge from a rainy day.
i was biking along when heavens opens. searching for the nearest interior my clunky bike and i stumbled our way into this blue sanctuary. we were graciously welcomed in and patiently waited. Baristas were friendly but not overbearing and kind to each customer that followed after me.

The interior is endearing. The couch is super comfortable and the book selection is great! I had forgotten a book at home so i was especially grateful for this. I especially love that there is a book nook for a child too!

“This is the best coffee shop in the neighborhood. The staff (shout out Elvis) is incredibly kind and make you feel like the only customer they've ever known. He comes to my dog's birthday parties if that tells you anything. The shop is clean yet dog friendly, small but warm and sunny. The food is INCREDIBLE. “One of the best breakfast spots in Park Slope. The food is consistently fresh, portions are generous, and it has that relaxed neighborhood atmosphere that makes it perfect for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

My favorite is definitely the Eggs Benedict — always satisfying, well prepared, and one of those dishes I keep ordering instead of trying something new. They have plenty of other great breakfast options too, but the Benedict keeps bringing me back.

I’m really a coffee head and this is my go to spot EVERY SINGLE TIME. The Turkey Cheezzeee and the spinach and feta are my favs but everything else is just as delectable. Now, the service, TOP TIER! I popped in during a frigid December day and was delightfully surprised by the warmth and character of the space and the neighborly interactions between the baristas and customers. The drip coffee was great and the cookies delicious. The small space is a model of efficiency - it was fascinating to watch the three workers negotiate a tiny workspace and a steady crowd with ease. I've added this spot to my rotation of morning coffee spots.“

We enjoyed an afternoon treat at Enso - the Shaken Espresso and the iced London Fog (off menu) was perfect. Both were $8 but happy to support local.

We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! The coffee, as you can imagine, is excellent. A lot of people rave about the rocket fuel which is great as well, although I prefer it with oat milk over my usual whole.

The real standout is the service at Kaleidoscope. I’m not really one to strike up conversations with anyone, let alone when it’s early and I need to get to work, but the atmosphere here really is amazing. The owner, Adam (I think), has always treated me well and has on multiple occasions thrown in some free goodies for me and my partner. There is another barista there as well, she’s similarly friendly and skilled at what she does.

I guess this was all just to say that I do recommend this place, it was one of the first places I felt welcomed in Greenpoint not just as a customer but as a member of the community.“
