“Popped in for a latte (first time) and it was delicious! They were out of almond milk, so the barista recommended I try macadamia... and I'm glad he did! It was very good. Hamlet made the list of neighborhood cafés I would continue to visit.“

“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.
5 stars!!!!“

“Lovebirds was the perfect spot to have my son's first birthday party! We served hors d'oeuvres and dessert which were all amazing! The ceviche and the espresso cheesecake were my favorite! I loved that we didn't feel crowded in the space but it also felt cozy. I will definitely come back and would love to use the space again in the future for another event!“

“What a wonderful place! The staff was so fun and the atmosphere extremely warm and inviting. The cappuccino was foamy and so smooth. They were even nice to my service pup and had no issues with us inside. Seems like the perfect place to be a regular. Will be back 110% also the in house baked goods where 🤌<3“

“I am obsessed with Café Miguel's café de olla. I have been chasing the taste of that Mexican coffee since first trying it in Mexico City years ago, and theirs is incredible. The brunch line can be long, but it's worth it; the chilaquiles are delicious. I have no idea how they make so many different things so fast in that tiny, open air kitchen.“

“Incredible espresso!! This place is the real deal specialty coffee shop. I really enjoyed my visit and loved the space. They have very good offerings here for coffee and espresso.
They also offer an iced green tea with the espresso as a pallet cleanser in a really cool setting. You can buy a lot of varieties of freshly roasted specialty beans here as well.“

“Really cool mix of coffee shop and chinatown pork buns and other chinese style pastries
I got the cream tart and the pork bun. Both were really good.
Only downside is the entire place was full of people sitting with their laptops so wasnt able to sit anywhere inside.“

“This was our second time going there. Our daughter goes to Pratt and it's walking distance from the school. It's a small diner but friendly staff. On one of the coldest days of winter the host made sure people were not waiting long for tables as best as she could. The food was good and service was really good. I'm glad my daughter has a place like this close to her dorm.“

“Been wanting to try this highly rated Banh Mi shop and finally had a chance to pick up a Mr. Banh Mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee to go. Gentleman handling our order was polite and friendly. Glad to see it’s a small locally owned family business. The banh mi was fresh and well prepared overall. The bread is made in house from my understanding which is impressive. In terms of texture and taste of the bread it’s about average and I’ve had better at a couple of other Brooklyn Banh Mi spots. The veggies are finely shredded which is different than other spots however I did find it lacking a bit of zest. The minced BBQ pork filling is a take from the OG Banh Mi spot that’s been around 40 years in Chinatown. Speaking about filling/cold cuts - it’s your usual except banh mi filling just a tad less amount wise compared to others. The traditional mayo and pate was definitely on the light side or lacking. On to the iced Vietnamese coffee pretty decent taste as some decent spots. Overall I give them kudos for baking their own bread and for prep/presentation but price is a factor comparing other banh mi spots in Asian areas as $13 for a banh mi in Bensonhurst vs $8 to $9.50 in Bensonhurst/Sunset Park/Bay Ridge is a tough bite to digest unless possibly yours is significantly better/bigger than the others. But I still wish their shop to prosper.“

“This coffee place has such a cute, cozy, vintage vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s exactly the kind of café I love going to — whether to work a bit, grab a coffee on my own, or share a moment with a friend.
It’s a small spot with limited seating, which actually adds to its charm. There are no restrooms, but the coffee is truly excellent. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and it was really good, and my friend had a latte that was just as great.
A lovely little café with amazing coffee and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“This is such a beautiful, warm and welcoming space. I feel like a just unearthed a new treasure! Now my favorite cafe. Best atmosphere and the treats are fresh and delicious —albeit a bit pricey, even compared to other cafes in the area. I think the reason for this might be that it is one of those very few places left in the city where one can really sit comfortably and peacefully for hours without feeling rushed to leave so the table can be turned. We should be ready and willing to pay a little extra to help keep these places open; I definitely am. Love this place!“

“Great spot! I got a strawberry milk tea with Boba and loved it, the Boba was fresh and the milk tea was delicious! I will say that the milk tea was on the sweeter side and had more if an artificial strawberry taste, (which I personally like) but if you don't like that kind of taste maybe get something else, there is an option to get get less sweetness as well. I really liked it though! The server was really nice too! Also, random but the ice was really tasty for some reason. 🤷♀️😅“

I tried a colombian sweet cheese bread called Pandebono for the first time ever and I was blown beyond means.
I ended up packing two more to snack on later.
The interior of the cafe is soo cute as well. I really had a great time just chilling by myself here
I'd definitely visit again when I'm back in Brooklyn.“

“Ariana taught a class at my house with my fiancé and I. She taught two recipes and was more than friendly. She gave us a personalized recipe, extra items to cook with later, and two tasty desserts!
