“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.
5 stars!!!!“

“What an amazing specialty coffee shop here in Brooklyn. The cortado was delicious and I also got a hot chocolate for the kids. The staff were so friendly and kind. The service was extremely fast. They also were generous and gave me some extra cups to give out the hot chocolate to my kids in different cups. There is some space to sit and work or meet but the place was already pretty packed back late morning. I’d highly recommend coming here if you like good espresso and specialty coffee“

“Such a gem! Their espresso is delicious and the hibiscus soft serve is a uniquely refreshing and delectable treat. Everything is fresh and natural (made from scratch, not syrup or junk). Cute, cozy atmosphere with warm, friendly owner and staff.“

“First impression: good coffee, music, and vibes.
It was my first time visiting this coffee shop… and it’s not just any coffee shop! They also sell a wide array of vinyls as well as their own locally roasted coffee beans! It’s also cool that they use the space as an event venue.
The owner was super chill and friendly :) I’d definitely take my friends here and this would’ve been my go-to coffee shop if I lived in the area!“

“The staff here are always super friendly, no matter what time of day you stop by, which definitely adds to the experience. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other local coffee spots like Variety. I paid $18 for a bacon (Canadian ham), egg, and cheese on focaccia. It was tasty, but honestly, not quite worth the price. The space is very small and can be uncomfortable waiting for food/drinks when there is more than three people inside.“

“Incredible espresso!! This place is the real deal specialty coffee shop. I really enjoyed my visit and loved the space. They have very good offerings here for coffee and espresso.
They also offer an iced green tea with the espresso as a pallet cleanser in a really cool setting. You can buy a lot of varieties of freshly roasted specialty beans here as well.“

Now its practically same staff bathroom remodeled and costs have increased but so as everuthing else same friendly and fulfilling breakfast no bells and whistles but simple good food“

“Been wanting to try this highly rated Banh Mi shop and finally had a chance to pick up a Mr. Banh Mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee to go. Gentleman handling our order was polite and friendly. Glad to see it’s a small locally owned family business. The banh mi was fresh and well prepared overall. The bread is made in house from my understanding which is impressive. In terms of texture and taste of the bread it’s about average and I’ve had better at a couple of other Brooklyn Banh Mi spots. The veggies are finely shredded which is different than other spots however I did find it lacking a bit of zest. The minced BBQ pork filling is a take from the OG Banh Mi spot that’s been around 40 years in Chinatown. Speaking about filling/cold cuts - it’s your usual except banh mi filling just a tad less amount wise compared to others. The traditional mayo and pate was definitely on the light side or lacking. On to the iced Vietnamese coffee pretty decent taste as some decent spots. Overall I give them kudos for baking their own bread and for prep/presentation but price is a factor comparing other banh mi spots in Asian areas as $13 for a banh mi in Bensonhurst vs $8 to $9.50 in Bensonhurst/Sunset Park/Bay Ridge is a tough bite to digest unless possibly yours is significantly better/bigger than the others. But I still wish their shop to prosper.“
“Wonderful iced latte! lovely staff, delish little breads and donuts.“

“Small café, but very bright, clean, and airy. There was was a small loveseat, a couple barstools, one or two cafe tables with 2 seats, a bench with a cushion and 3 café tables out on the sidewalk. Came in about 1:30pm, and were greeted warmly. Almost all of the pastries were gone, but the cheese with fig danish and the plain croissant they had left were good. We also tried the matcha lemonade, strawberry matcha and a hot black sesame latte. I liked the sesame latte A LOT, the strawberry was good, and I personally hated the lemonade, but that is a personal preference thing. The good thing about it is it isn't too sweet, but it was heavy on the matcha, so it tasted like liquid grass to me. I definitely like nuttier sencha tea better. The prices were average for the area, and since everything is pricey now, it is what it is.
There were other patrons there, busily working and looked like they had been there for quite a while, which tells me it may be a good place to sit and focus for an hour or two.
My party of three sat outside and because it is located in a predominantly residential area, it was a nice place to sit since there aren't tons of pedestrians. There were a few bees/wasps though, so we had to leave after a bit(highly allergic). There were also mosquitos and lantern bugs around--I suspect there is some standing water on a roof nearby.
I will definitely walk over here again to get that sesame latte, and maybe stay and pretend looking productive. But I'll definitely come back.“

“Little cafe but the brand and logo design are really cute and stylish. Nice to stop by a little bit since not a lot of seats.
Cappuccino was a classic. The flavor was in between bitter and light. The foamed milk was not creamy or smooth enough.
Vegetarian options: Plant-based milk“

“I have not had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Con Libros. However, this morning I placed a call for help with an order for a particular book and was connected to Sage(sp).
The service was immediately caring, patient, professional and set the bar for what to expect when interacting with a professional.
And while the book was not available at the location, I plan to make it a point to visit Cafe Con Libros based on the lovely and memorable service I received dyeing my call.
To all that have the opportunity to read this review, and you are deciding whether to give this spot a visit, I encourage you to do so.
Thank you, again, Sage and thank you to the team for hiring such great associates to represent your business!
Peace, light, laughter and balance ❤️“

“My boyfriend and I had intended to make ourselves coffee every morning — that was until we discovered Okka.
Okka coffee is the best way to start my day — their iced lattes with oat milk are truly out of this world. They also have delicious pastries and Turkish bagels if you’re looking for a treat.
The best part of Okka, though, are its owners: Onur and his wife, Sefa! They are so kind and brighten my day every morning. Sefa also makes beautiful bracelets that, since purchase, I’ve never taken off.
Thank you, Onur and Sefa, for welcoming Troy and me into the neighborhood — we’re so lucky to have such a wonderful coffee spot so close by!“

“i always stop into Nook when i need coffee in the neighborhood. the atmosphere is lovely, and there's plenty of seating inside & out. i LOVE that there's a proper cafe around here that is open late. if you're a caffeine fiend whose waking hours mean lunch at 5pm, you know what i mean!! service is quick and the drinks / food are delicious.
any given night, you might stumble into a poetry reading or group writing circle. if you're waiting on their one, very clean and spacious restroom, check out the bulletin board for local, non-livenation events!
last thing -- their to-go cups don't leak. it's a bigger deal than it sounds 😅“
