“This place is perfect. The servers are always an alert and helpful. I work nearby and sneak out to grab some caffeine and an enormous perfectly soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie on the daily. If the chocolate chip this good I can only imagine how good the other baked goods are. 10/10 if you’re looking for something that tastes great and is quick, this place never fails. If you’re in the neighborhood def choose this spot. I think there is a 15 percent off local work promo too.

Parking: You can pull over even if it says no parking til 6pm. They don’t really ticket the area. But don’t quote me on that.“

“Had to swing by the new Boucherie and see what this new addition was bringing to the Chicago scene. My visit on a Sunday at 7:30pm was way different than my visit on a Thursday night at 8:30pm. Sunday was calm, spacious with a very moderate noise level but Thursday night was oddly the complete opposite - it was loud, busy and had much less space! 😂 I’d definitely say be cognizant of that when you go; the vibes can vary. The drinks were good - my favorite was “La vie en rose” and the French martini was tasty as well. Loved the escargots and the garlic butter sauce they were drowned in! I also had the saumon roti and that choron sauce on top was delish! I wasn’t a fan of the Paris-Brest for dessert, but the crème brûlée was good! The interior is so beautiful! 😍 Stop by for a visit and see how you like this new Chicago restaurant! Ask for Manuel to be your waiter - he was the best!!!“

“Everything about Le Bernardin was excellent. Our every need was anticipated by the service staff. The wine list was spectacular, we had a Napa Valley Semillon that was excellent. Cocktails were perfectly balanced my husband had the 57th Manhattan, I had the Magnolia Lane and my cousin the Tigre Valley, all superb. We had the four course Prix fixe menu - all of our selections were excellent, every bite and flavor simply made sense. All four of us chose the pistachio dessert which we all declared to be the best bite we had ever had. Zero regrets about dining at Le Bernardin for our Anniversary. It made our trip to Manhattan truly complete. We were blessed to see Chef Eric Ripert twice in the dining room. Zero complaints, truly spectacular in every way.“

“We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Le Jardinier. The food from appetizers to entree to dessert was beautifully plated and excellently prepared. My duck entree was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and among the most tender I have had, and the blend of carrots and carrot purée, orange reduction, and wine sauce worked perfectly. The chocolate cremeaux was delicious - chocolaty yet light. Notably, the vegan ice cream was superb - I would not have known it was vegan if they didn’t say so. The service was very attentive and thorough, although the waiter was a bit inexperienced about the food. They were very generous helping us celebrate our anniversary, which I really appreciated.

Dietary restrictions: One member of our party has celiac disease, and they were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable.“

“When you book at a Michelin 3 Star restaurant expectations are pretty high. Especially when you fly in special to New York for your wife’s milestone birthday. Could it be that good? The short answer is yes. Amazing view. I couldn’t believe our table overlooking Central Park. Wait staff. Totally matched our vibe. Attentive, funny and the right mix of leave me alone with a hint of answering questions and lightheartedness. Shoutout to Eric!!! The food. It’s all about the food, right? Upon the first bites in your mouth you wonder what you’ve been chewing your whole life. It certainly wasn’t this. I have the palette of a kindergartner and even I was blown away from the flavors, textures and sensations. To top it off a few special extras for my wife’s birthday. Worth the special trip. Couldn’t imagine having done anything else.“

This restaurant offers a wonderful experience with a touch of Japanese delicacy and precision, along with unique Japanese ingredients. I also discovered the excellence of wine pairings here; the synergy between the food and wine makes everything even more delicious. The final dessert is outstanding as well.
