“I've been here several times to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff are friendly, kind and welcoming, and the food is tasty and well proportioned! It's a great place to spend time with my friends. On our most recent visit, the restaurant owner came by our table to chat with us and he shared some memories of the restaurant with us. It was very touching and heartwarming, and helped make this place one of my favourite restaurants!“

“The food was really good. Was meaning to come here, and im glad I did. They gave us complementary jeon and definitely love the korean platter. I highly recommend coming here during happy hour to enjoy their deals. It's a sick spot to come for late night eats and drinks. The vibes are always fun, and they have an amazing spots to take cute pictures.“
“I love this place. The staff were very warm and welcoming. They brought out appetizers immediately upon sitting and helped us with our order. The meat cut selection was rather diverse compared to other bbq places and the food was very good.“

“Nestled in the heart of Yorkville, 156 Cumberland is a must try. The food was delicious and I had a great server recommending what to get, and if it was enough for the table. I could not think of a dish I didn’t like! Highly recommend the tartar, potato pancake and banana milk tiramisu. The atmosphere is also perfect for date nights, casual and special occasions. Will definitely comeback.“

“Not the best fried wings I've had, especially Korean-wise, but overall most of the menu is pretty good and the portions they give are generous to share with friends for the price. The atmosphere is great for us students, lively and fun! only downside is the service. Everytime you need something you have to use the ipad to call a server and choose one of the default prompts or else you'll have to wave one of them down which was difficult for us since they don't make eye contact when they walk by lol.Came here on a whim with friends because it was one of the few places open with shareable food, probably will only come back for another one of those moments“

“I went there last night and they were closing in 20 minutes and had turned off their fryers. They were so kind and still took my order and prepared me some delicious chicken. I manage businesses and I know what it feels like when someone shows up fifteen minutes before closing to get food. Great people and great food. I would have given them higher ratings if it was possible. If you are looking for some delicious chicken and are tired of the old kfc/popeyes generic flavor, give this place a go and you won’t be disappointed.“

“"Absolutely phenomenal experience at 100 Chicken! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of deliciously seasoned chicken filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of my order was just right. As for the chicken itself, it was cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a fan of classic fried chicken or prefer something a bit more adventurous, their menu has something for everyone. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your visit to 100 Chicken!"“

“Honestly, as a Korean myself, I have to say their soondubu stew is really delicious! I could definitely tell some extra love was put into it. I can't believe this place has such a low rating! It's completely undeserving of 3 stars! I even got my order to-go and it was still so good.“

“I recently came in for a weekday lunch with a friend and tried their set lunch for 2 (ssam-bap jungsik). The servers were very friendly and helpful with ordering and they made sure that banchan refill (limited to 2 times) was done promptly. The banchans were all were prepared; my friend who tried Korean food for the first time loved the eggplant side dish. I loved that they offered the soybean stews in individual earthen bowls. Their spicy and non-spicy pork bulgogi were also very well done with just the perfect amount of marinade. Accompanying veggies for wraps were also plentiful so we didn't have to ask for a refill. We also ordered steamed Korean dumplings which were packed with meat, tofu and veggies. This was so delicious! I don't normally order dumplings when I go out because it's usually the store bought ones that are steamed or friend but here, it was made in house and the quality was definitely there. I am looking forward to returning to try out more of their new menu items soon.“

“Gotta get the Rose rice cakes dish! (note: it does come with sausage and bacon and I'm not sure if you can ask for a substitution) I'd be happy to have plain fried chicken and just dip it into the sauce all day long! Also recommend the galbi flavour (tastes like honey garlic sauce) and it's soooo good!“

“A very enjoyable experience all around. The atmosphere upon entering was very welcoming, my partner and I were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. The food was tasty and well made and the drinks were very refreshing especially the cocktails. I enjoyed the truffle potato and beef tartare. The service was also very well, I would definitely stop by if you’re in the area.“

“Always love the food and service at this location. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. I like that it is more spacious than other locations so I never have to worry about waiting too long for a table. It is my go to spot for authentic and tasty Korean food. Some of my favourites are KamJaTang, JapChae, Bulgogi and LA Kalbi. Next time will try the Korean friend chicken!“

“My wife and I went there for the first time on a recommendation and boy.. we weren't disappointed. We ordered the small portion table top hot pot style Porkbone Soup called Gamjatang. It was this fantastic broth that came loaded with vegetables, noodles, potatoes, and a portion of meat that would serve a family of 4 easily IMO!!To make it even better, they brought side dishes to eat with the dish that they kept replenishing for us!! Even when the soup was looking low they brought us more broth!!!My wife and I were astonished with the Service, the flavor and the portions!! We will be back again to try other things on the menu. We feel that for your money, you are getting extremely good value“

“This establishment exudes warmth and hospitality! Upon stepping inside, I was immediately greeted by friendly faces inquiring if I had visited before. Upon informing the proprietors of my unfamiliarity with their sandwich shop, they graciously guided me through my options, making the decision-making process a breeze. “Visited for the first time on a Thursday afternoon and they still had a good selection of items but I feel like they have more items earlier in the day. The staff was friendly, answered peoples questions, and made sure everyone who bought something knew how to reheat the items at home if they weren’t eating in store.Loved that they had samples where you could try their injeolmi which I appreciated! I mostly took my order to go but had an iced injeolmi latte in store and loved the flavours. I wished I asked if they had different milk options before ordering though, I asked after and they do have whole milk or oat milk (unsure if oat milk is extra though)They have a second floor seating area that I’ll check out next time. From the looks of it there is municipal parking available on the street. It’s not wheelchair accessible sadly. Will update this review when I try out the salt bread, dacqouise, and other items I purchased.“

“This is a wonderful little sushi restaurant in Scarborough. My friend and I prefer to come here on our own, and a couple of times when Niji was too busy. The food is great! Both the sushi and the Korean dishes are tasty and have good portion sizes. The customer service is excellent. Our server was so attentive, constantly pouring us tea and checking in with us to make sure we were satisfied. We came back not just because of the food, but also because we remembered the wonderful service ☺️ Thank you!“

They also have gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options! The sushi is on point, very fresh and flavourful. I would definitely suggest trying the crunchy roll and japchae. Bento boxes are great too. “I recently visited a new restaurant with some friends during their soft opening. They had special combo orders available, so we decided to order the Godeunguh Gui Jeong sik, Korean-style sausage soup, and Bo Ssam. We were particularly impressed by their kimchi. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't yet have an alcohol license. However, the service was quite attentive, with a call button available for assistance. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation, with background music at a comfortable level. I plan on returning to try their lunch special, particularly their bibimbap.“

“Authentic food and fast service! Fried chicken's marinade could have been better, but it was still solid. “Not sure why people are complaining about the service unless they got the wrong place. I did see an older woman working but It was the younger one that served me. The younger one was super sweet and pleasant. I got the wasa mayo crab because I wanted something fast to eat before going to Casa Loma. For the size, it was reasonable. It was about $10.99 CAD but since I’m from the US, it was about $8 USD. This was about the same price as one of the shops near me. Very inexpensive if you work full time. The toast was very tasty. Bread was crispy and soft. Large chunks of crab meat. I would come back. Limited seating. Two tables and one booth.“

“Such a good hidden gem with fresh, made-to-order gimbap. The prices are quite affordable and the food is always fresh. They're hidden in the Aura food court, and while it's quiet there, this stall still gets quite busy during the lunch hour. You can call ahead to avoid waiting there.“

“This restaurant was highly recommended so tonight I finally decided to check it out. I ordered the quarter chicken which comes in six pieces for ten dollars. I was told by the very professional server at the counter that it would take about fifteen minutes. Now some people, those used to fried chicken restaurants where you walk in and you can get your chicken most of the time instantaneously, may be disappointed to have to wait. I on the other hand, welcomed the short wait ( ended up being ten minutes) because it means the chicken was just fried up for me! Not sitting waiting under a heat lamp for someone to show up!And, the size of the portion was extremely generous and the quality was perfect. Proper fried chicken. I had the classic. Fantastic quality and value. Professional service with a smile. I will definitely be back and recommend.“

“I have to highlight that the customer service is definitely excellent, they were always friendly and very attentive, In addition to the fact that the portions are large and everything is very delicious, we ordered sashimi and everything is very fresh and with large pieces. “The portion is big, good service? try to be attentive. I was served with only 3 side dishes and yellow pickles, non of them are good, like the average one you could get from mart, in fact Galleria’s kimchi might be better. If you want spicy seafood noodle then Korean village would be a much better option.I came visit again after 6 months, and have tried their beef rib soup. The soup is phenomenal, the beef ribs could be more tinder. Conclusion: I basically licked the plates and bowls, including their side dish! I am so surprise this time with the quality of their side dish, unique, fresh, and refreshing taste that is different from other place. Really happy with this visit.“

“If you like braised pork I highly recommend ordering takeout from here. You also get wee little discount if paying w cash. Few parking spots available in front of the restaurant.- Food: 9/10 (I ordered spicy one and bbq one. Overall loved it but wish bbq jokbal had more smokey flavour)- Portion: $55 half & half was enough to feed 3 ppl imo. I also ordered rice ball in addition.- Price: a bit pricey but thats kinda expected as Jokbal is also expensive in Korea too (not sure why but it's just like that?♀️).Anyway given the portion and the quality it was worth it for me.-Condiments&lettuce: 10/10 i was impressed with their thoughtfulness in including many sauces to pair with jokbal. Also lettuce was fresh fresh ? no wilted old lettuce-Side beansprout soup: 10/10 spicy but addictive fr.“

“The staff named Lia was very nice and very accommodating with our request to lessen the spicyness of the best seller pork bone soup. “Wish I could give 6 stars. Our first time here tonight, party of 3. Cozy and private booths in a bustling atmosphere (don’t come here for a quiet date night!) The service was incredible and very quick, several servers asked us how the meal was or if we needed anything. Generous helpings of meat, we had to tap out before we finished. They also introduced all the side dishes. I loved the variety. Even my 8-yr old is excited to go back again. Such a great experience!“
