“We came in a group of 9. Two ladies came and started taking drink orders and it was very confusing as to being asked the same thing twice. They brought our drinks but forgot one of the kids drinks. 25 minutes passed and still nothing - the girls disappeared. We then met Shimeko Cooper and he saved the day. Saved the experience. Super friendly. Super attentive. I would recommend this place and ask only for Shimeko, he definitely is the best. Thank you so much!“

“Had Pho and vermicelli. Food quality was very good though the brisket and rare beef portions in the Pho was noticeably less than comparable restaurants like Pho An Ngon. Staffs were ok. Had to wait 10 mins for a designated staff in order to pay my bill even though was standing right at the counter. The floor had quite a bit food crumbs.“

“Delicious and fresh. Ordered the spicy beef. The noodles have a great texture and the broth itself is flavourful and does not feel too oily. In terms of spice, you can change the broth to suit your level of tolerance. After leaving the restaurant I did not feel full or have that heavy feeling with my stomach. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. The service was very good and all were friendly who came to the table.“

“I’ve been to this restaurant several times. Food is absolutely amazing and for this reason alone I will return. But as far as the owner is concerned … was very disappointed how he treated us. He basically kicked us out of our seats. The couple sitting next to us who were there already when we were seated were still there enjoying their time yet Walter asked my friend and I to leave because he had the next guests waiting. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. Long story short, not impressed with Walter to say the least but food is exceptional!!“

“Lina and staff are amazing! We had them cater our building Christmas event for 100 people and the food was a hit with everyone. It was fresh, tasty and more than enough. “We were down in the area, as we moved further north. This place makes the best Veal, sandwiches, etc. delicious. 😋The different types of coffees ☕️ etc. Are delicious, as well. Such a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. It may cost a bit more but worth it. You pay for what you get, good quality. Worth the wait. If you want good freshly made foods, this is the place to go. Went in the early morning, at 10:30 am, when they just opened up. So glad we stopped here. Definitely worth the drive to come back. With plenty of food on the menu there, I ate the Phở Dặc Biệt / Special Soup as well as the gỏi cuốn and enjoyed every part of it. I felt welcomed and looked after. The prices were very affordable, and made me feel very full!“

For all the reviews complaining about esrly close time, obviously they're used to consuming the subpar products available from everywhere else in the city, and havent been to Berto's often enough. They sell out of stuff all the time since they keep their products fresh, Only buying their projected amount so as not to waste and have top quality for their customers. If you want to be sure that what you want is there, get there BEFORE 2PM or CALL AHEAD and place your order for pickup.

You could taste the spices from the skin down to the meat. Bone included! The plantains were soft, sweet, juicy and when you bit into it, the flavor just exploded in your mouth!
