“We had an amazing lunch experience a couple of weekends ago. Nelly was our server and she was all around an absolute gem. She was very patient with my mother and chatted up my daughter when she asked Nelly about what fragrance she was wearing (we love a girl who doesn’t gatekeep). Our food was precise and delicious, and we never had to worry about refills on drinks and even got drinks to-go. We will definitely be back and definitely will be back to sit with Nelly!“

“This place is so good, I will definitely will make the drive back! I had the Beef with fat, octopus, tendon and beef with mushrooms. Despite it being a busy Saturday night the service was very accommodating. Very reasonable prices and they've got a pretty nice selection on Sake and Soju, too. If your looking for a unique vibe this is it. Parking can be difficult on a Saturday night but I lucked out and found front row.“

“Really cute little spot with fantastic Chinese food specializing with Chinese chilis. I had the spicy fried chicken and their spicy wontons.

The fried chicken was excellent, really crispy while not being oily at all. The breading to chicken ratio was also very nice and the fresh herbs on top really brought balance to the dish.

The wontons were also dressed very nicely with extra garlic (which I love) and chili crisp, and the skins were thin while maintaining its structure.

I was really pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic spot in Houston! Reminds me of home.

“It’s our first time eating here and we love the atmosphere and specially the food. Our waitress is very kind, accommodating and she knows the menu well. We celebrated Father’s Day here with our youngest son the foods and the service exceed our expectation. This restaurant is highly recommended and definitely will be back.“

“I was excited when I saw this place pop up on my search for dumplings. When I walked in the place was decorated with some really cool styling drawings of big goldfish that looked like they were swimming on the walls. The lighting was nice and actually romantic. My waiter walked up and kindly sat me and brought me a pitcher of lemon and water with this neat cup. I ordered the beef and shrimp soup dumplings and some mushroom and beef pan dumplings. The pan dumplings came with a dipping sauces that compliments them very well, there were other condiments on the table to make it spicier. The food was freshly prepared and the textures wowed me! The soup dumplings were delicate and great texture with lovely fragrant flavors. After the dumplings I got an order of sesame balls. They came fresh and hot. I took them to go because I could not eat another bite. This place is definitely on my favorites list. I have to come back to try more items from the menu!“

“I got off work after a long shift and placed an order around 8:15 not realizing they closed at 9. I was about 40 minutes away at the time so I called to let them know I might be a little late and the woman on the phone was really kind and said it was okay. When I got there around 9:10 they had waited for me and I really appreciated that.

I was first introduced to their food through Weee! The quantity is perfect for the next day. The hand pulled noodles were great and the cumin beef is a must, super flavorful and comforting. Thank you again, I will definitely be back.“

Years go by and interior looks and food improve. Good value overall.

No figures of dragons, no aquarium of goldfishes, simple tables, nice interior, plentiful food that tasted good if that is what you want they have it. If not, they have a drive up window for takeout.“

The atmosphere is hole in the wall Chinese, but you're not here for the ambiance. You are coming for the fabulous Chinese food with huge portions. The Kung pao beef is amazing. This place is truly a hidden gem.“

Both were spicy and very tasty. The portions were generous enough to get 2 servings out of each meal. This place is great!“

You start with a chicken dish (we got medium spice/size) and it was more than enough for two people to share. The flavor was phenomenal. I particularly liked the onions. After you finish your first dish, they come by and fill your bowl with chicken broth, turning it into a delicious hot pot. All sides you can add on are generous as well.
