“Ordered the jhampong (짬뽕) and it was one of the best I've had outside of korea. Lots of seafood, noodles were cooked just right, and broth was favorable and spicy, but not too spicy. Service was also fast and courteous. Definitely going back to try their black bean noodles (짜장면) and the sizzling rice dish.“

“I can’t believe I slept on Pei Wei for this long.
Stopped in recently and tried the Firecracker Tofu bowl and yeah… it did what it needed to do. The tofu was actually crispy (not that sad, soggy situation some places try to pass off), and the spice level had a nice kick without taking me out. I like heat, but I also like tasting my food — this was balanced.
I was pleasantly surprised by how many plant powered options they had. It didn’t feel like an afterthought. You can tell it’s actually part of the menu, not just “here’s plain vegetables, good luck.” I already have my eye on a couple other tofu bowls for next time.
The place was clean, service was easy and friendly, and everything came out quick. Solid experience all around. Definitely adding this into my rotation when I want something fast but still flavorful.
Grateful for solid plant powered options that don’t feel boring. 👏“

“I love this place so much. I often order online from it, but this restaurant is actually great for dine-in. It has a relaxing, cozy vibe, it's never too loud, so you can actually talk and hear each other. Also, small detail, but to me that changes a lot: they use very beautiful Chinese dishes and tea pots.“

“It’s our first time eating here and we love the atmosphere and specially the food. Our waitress is very kind, accommodating and she knows the menu well. We celebrated Father’s Day here with our youngest son the foods and the service exceed our expectation. This restaurant is highly recommended and definitely will be back.“

“I enjoyed my experience here so much! First reason why is because the company I had with me was amazing however the food, service, and environment made everything BETTER!! The manager Sarah did a wonderful job making sure everything was running smoothly and our waiter, Victor who tended to all of our needs with no issues. I most certainly will be coming back and bringing more people.😊“

“I came here specifically for the dumplings and their signature fruit infused teas and I got to tell you after an hour and a half of stuffing my fat face. They did not disappoint ladies and gentlemen. They start off by bringing you a pitcher of lemon water and the holy trifecta which consists of soy sauce Chinese black vinegar and I'm talking about some legit chili oil 🪔 that you mix to your liking. Now I like my dipping sauce a little sweeter and since I'm not a complete barbaric animal by asking for sugar I asked for a little sweet and sour sauce and mixed in with my Trifecta blend. But that's just my preference. All the dumplings I tried were amazing and rightfully so. They have two sweet older Asian but intimidating looking women that are constantly filling and wrapping all types of dumplings. I have to admit the proficiency and ninja like skills with a knife of these two ladies was awe-inspiring.
Although my absolute favorite ones though were the shrimp and pork pan-fried dumplings. Because hello you had me at fried. They had the perfect combination of steamed on one side and fried to Golden perfection on the other. Oh and they definitely a 2 bite dumplings with copious amounts of filling. I will definitely be coming back eager to try the rest of their menu.“

“I am very picky with American Chinese food, but my visit to PF Chang’s last week was rather enjoyable. The food was good (I could drink the sweet chili dipping sauce!) and the service was great, especially from my waitress, Chelsea! She was able to offer suggestions for my visit last week and for my next visit in the future.“

“This place slaps! Delicious Northwest Chinese cuisine. Truly don’t understand why it isn’t a 5 stars. You cannot find Xian-style hand pulled noodles in Houston. I usually get the oil splashed noodles and add beef. It’s delicious. Make sure to mix it before you start eating. I’ve also had the roujiamao burger here as well as it is another well-known dish from this part of China. People that work here are super nice. I always strike up a convo here and there trying to convince them to franchise. Wish it was closer to downtown, but it’s kinda one of those iykyk places. Sometimes it’s better like that.“

“This place is amazing. The food here is so very good, I have only been twice, but I definitely need to go more often. My family has been with me both times, so we tried a pretty wide variety of menu items. Everything was delicious! Service is prompt and friendly. The prices seem very reasonable.“

“This has been on my list of want to go to Houston restaurants for ages, and after finally going today I’m sad I didn’t go earlier. Food was delicious (soup dumplings and tofu skin wrap) and the staff were really nice. A really rude Karen type customer came in while I was eating and I was impressed by how pleasant the staff were to her. I wouldn’t have had the patience for a customer like that (I guess that’s why I don’t own a restaurant), but they were great. Excited to return and try other dishes!“

“Northern Pasta in Houston is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic and comforting Northern Chinese flavors. The 豆腐花 (tofu pudding) was silky and lightly sweet — a perfect way to start or end the meal. Their dumplings are clearly handmade, with juicy fillings and nicely textured wrappers, and the noodles are fresh, chewy, and full of flavor.
Everything tasted homemade and satisfying. If you’re looking for simple, well-executed dishes that hit the spot, Northern Pasta is definitely worth a visit.“

“Food was amazing, my kids didn’t waste any of it and neither did I. Chinese food has sucked since moving to Houston until I found this restaurant and they have a drive thru which is a double plus! We will definitely be back, and they accept card.“

“Food was very good! We got ours delivered and everything came hot and nicely packed. We had beef and broccoli and tso chicken with a side of lo mein. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The General Tso, Lo Mein and Kung Pao and Mongolian dishes are the best. I usually get chicken or beef. They give you a lot of meat... It's not all vegetables and sauce like some Chinese restaurants.
Both egg rolls and wonton soup are delicious.
I like the little fried chips they bring before your food comes. They pair well with the duck sauce.
Crab puffs are mostly cream cheese, but not bad.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of their fried rice. Next time I'll ask for white rice.
The service is outstanding. They bring the food out right away and they're so friendly. Also, you can't beat the price! Best value in town. We live in Chinatown but we drive all the way to Happy Lamp for Chinese food.“

“The best orange chicken EVER! Idk how they do it but it is consistently delicious and flavorful. I’ve been going to this place before they were even at this location, maybe 20 years or more. I have not found a better kung pao chicken or orange chicken anywhere else! Every time I’m in Houston I have to have their orange chicken. 🍊 🐓 very kind family as well. God bless this family and their restaurant, I hope it keeps going strong“

“Be prepared to eat with your hands! Their food and service was so good that I think we’ll become regulars. We got their lunch buffet. This was the first buffet I’ve ever had where the servers come to your table directly to serve you food. It was my first time eating Indian food with my bare hands and honestly, it wasn’t so bad.“

“Great dinner at Jiu Fu Cafe. The beef chow fun was perfectly cooked with tender beef and great flavor, not greasy at all. The stir fried shrimp with black pepper was crispy, fresh, and delicious. Service was quick and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back“

“A couple of years ago, there was restaurant food and there was food truck food. The places on wheels somehow had more boldness to make wacky stuff that didn’t seem like it should go together, but once I’d bite into it, I was like YESS!
Fat Bao is that same formula but with a bathroom and no wheels.
All kinds of weird flavor combos that seem unfitting until you try. I’m convinced that every one of their little baos are fire because I didn’t have a single bite that disappointed. The onion rings were unreal too.
Great/quick service, and the atmosphere was good too.
I’ll be back like the Terminator.
So good.“

“Everything was delicious and the food was extremely hot and fresh. They also have a lot of vegetarian options. We had the sesame tofu, and we also had the sole fish fillet fried, which was so nice and crispy and flavorful. We also got the general chicken as well and they make it better than most places. It was super crispy and just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I also really like the vibes of the inside reminds me of The Chinese restaurants in the late 90s/early 2000s.“
