“Wow!! This place is incredible!! They serve the only 2 meats you’ll ever need, Al pastor and carne asada! We got 5 tacos and loaded fries and 2 drinks for about $40. The sauces provided on the tables go well with everything! Definitely will be a return visit spot for us!! Loved every second!“

“Grand opening specials and delicious food keep us coming back twice in a week now. It is located next to a local Target, so they have a great position to succeed with the flow of traffic and a large parking lot. I hope these specials remain the same or similar, the food economy needs places like this! Food should be affordable and tasty. You guys do both, excellent job.“

“Forgive my photos, we were starving and dug right in 😂 We just had a great lunch at Guisados Home Style Mexican Cooking. I'm already dreaming about the next time we can go back! 😍 We ordered the mole, bistec, kids carne quesadilla, and guac. We couldn't finish it all and get to eat it again which is the best part LOL. I was intrigued by their combination platters and if we hadn't come to try the mole specifically we would have gotten one. We will definitely try them next time (large quantities for family style dining). I loved the bright colorful napkins keeping my tortillas warm 💛“

“This place was so wonderful! We had made a reservation earlier in the day and we were sat as soon as we walked in. We were able to sit outside and listen to the band that was playing a few doors down. The chips and salsa were a great indicator that we were in for a good time! The chips were fresh and very well seasoned! Not to mention the variety that the salsa bar offered! Sweet and spicy flavors at the salsa bar were all delicious! Even mixing some of the flavors was a great move. The only snafu that I can think of was the service was a little slow, but nothing crazy. The servers all seemed to work well together when they were out on the patio. We ordered dry drinks (the mojito, and the mule) that were tasty, the Mahi Mahi that I will be dreaming about until I can eat it again, and the chiles en nogada that my fiancé hardly wanted to share! Needless to say, we were already talking about a return visit with friends. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and yummy chips and salsa. We were incredibly happy with our visit!“

“I’ve been here. . . oh, maybe 100 times the past two years. I absolutely LOVE it. They don’t use lard in their beans, their tortillas are vegan, and the fajita veggies are the best. Vegan burritos, ftw. Thank you, Carl, et al, for providing my this urban respite.“

“I just happened to be walking by and am from out of town. I was drawn in, and so very happy to have followed the hunch. Service was excellent. The chips and salsa satisfied me while I enjoyed my Tamarindo Margarita which was a treat. I had a ceviche of “tres amigos” - octopus, shrimp, and fish. So fabulous!! “👍👍👍👍👍Had a terrific lunch here on Monday (6/23/25). Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Not your regular Mexican dishes, more like Mexican with a unique twist! I had the Quesabirria (kind of like a quesadilla)and Ashly had the Birria Stew. We each chose lamb for the meat. These were made well, delicious and beautifully presented. Using lamb and the Birria style gave everything a unique, delightful flavor! It was a perfect afternoon for eating outside, too.“

Once they knew it was a need they cleaned the grill and cooked fresh corn shells to avoid contamination. The person at checkout put the order in a different bag. I appreciate the care and concern.“

“This place is great! The server was awesome and she gave us great recommendations. I had the two burrito meal and my wife got the grilled tacos. The food was great. I left craving the food for days after. Just unique enough menu to make them stand out from other Mexican restaurants. Oh, and don’t leave without trying their fried ice cream and flan… even if your full it’s so worth it. We will be going back soon.“

“Best Mexican food in town! I've heard this neighborhood can be dicey but it was perfectly safe and the mole is out of this world!!! The food is authentic, fresh, and amazingly flavorful. The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly and at the proper temperature. The soup is also wonderful. This hole-in-the wall is a real find! My husband and I will return often.“

An hour later, when I was about to pay at this other place I realized I did not have my wallet. I called Victor’s Restaurant and they had it. My wallet was intact, and nothing was taken from it. “I have been looking for a GOOD Mexican food place and I have definitely found it! I found this place less than 2 weeks ago and have eaten here twice. Once in house and the other I ordered very easily in the app they have for small businesses. This by far is the best in town and I will be come back very often. The staff is so friendly and kind. I know have a place to take my family and friends that come from out of town to a good Mexican food place. 5 starts ALL DAY!!!“
