“I am from out of town, but spend a few weeks a year in RVA. This is by far the best coffee that I've found in the area, and one of my favorite coffee shops in the country. They expertly pull every shot with attention to detail and care. The drip is also delicious and always fresh. They don't have lots of syrups and flavors (only vanilla) but that is because the coffee speaks for itself and isn't need of added flavoring. If you love coffee, Paix is a place you must check out when in RVA.“

“Someone showed me this spot freshman year and whenever I crave boba when I'm back in the city, trust that I'll come here. T.T Lounge has been here for more than 20 years and it makes a lot of sense because the owner is honest and hardworking.

He cooks the boba the old fashioned way- so it's not precooked and hard like other chains. And the banana milk tea has actual fresh mashed banana in it and not some cheap flavored syrup. This isn't some trendy, hype shop, it's a long running community staple that I hope to see other students continue support for years to come ❤️“

“Sefton is the greatest cafe in richmond, the staff are so kind to everyone who comes in. I get the same thing every time I come in to the point where barista’s and the owners know my order 😂. I get it bc it’s easy on my stomach, but they have such an amazing looking menu and are always changing it to fit the season! I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. Get your order “for here” , and Chill to the beats of new and old school jams while you enjoy this little local gem.“

The brown sugar cardamom latte is really good and have the perfect cardamom flavor that isn't overpowering. Really good service. “Guys. I thought I loved crossroads before. Then I tried their home made pop tart pastry? And I experienced a new level of limerance. This lil shop is crushing it. From their expansive selection of freshly baked pastries, delicious and perfectly pulled espresso shots and what I can only assume (will soon verify) is a scrumptious breakfast, they haven't disappointed me once. The barista was friendly and efficient, the girl who took my order was helpful, friendly, sweet and just happy to be there, saw her dancing around a bit, SO cute 🥰 This feels like an awesome place to be around, come check it out!!!

“i LOVE minglewood bake shop so much. it's my favorite coffee shop in RVA. the atmosphere is very loving & accepting. the pastries & coffee are to die for! they have gluten-free options as well, which is amazing as someone with celiac disease. all staff is so friendly & welcoming. they have cute stickers & accessories here too. overall great environment, vibe, & food! everything is also vegan, which is super cool! they even have a microwave that's solely used for vegan foods only. a lot of cool stuff here & they always have something yummy & new to try. i have never had a bad experience here & i've been going often since 2023! pricing is also so good, you get great portions & high quality for what you pay.“

“I bought some Dark as Dark from the grocery store! My wife likes dark roast! She usually uses a creamer. I drink mine black! This has to be the smoothest dark roast I have ever tried! I usually end up with a bitter aftertaste with the dark roasts I have tried so far. Not with this. We bought a grinder thinking that may be the problem but even with fresh beans lots of dark roasts still give that bitter aftertaste. This is tasty all the way through! I’ll be buying this from now on and I like the fact that we will be supporting a Va business as well. We will have to try out one of your locations in Richmond some time!“

Walked In and thought it was awesome.Home made buscuits and cheddar bay biscuits, bacon egg and real cheese and a 2 inch lick egg layer. Paid for it got to my truck to eat and run, started the truck, took a bite and shut thr truck off to have a moment with the biscuit. I have told everyone I know to go get what they want. Nurses, doctors, friends, random personnel to go inland get at least a biscuit thr first tine rather go back and branch oit. That's my plan as soon as I recover from surgery I will drive 30 miles for brakfast. The contrast was obvious: some people stepped up, others walked away. This location stayed open because a few adults understood responsibility. Those are the workers who actually deserve recognition.“
