“I am from out of town, but spend a few weeks a year in RVA. This is by far the best coffee that I've found in the area, and one of my favorite coffee shops in the country. They expertly pull every shot with attention to detail and care. The drip is also delicious and always fresh. They don't have lots of syrups and flavors (only vanilla) but that is because the coffee speaks for itself and isn't need of added flavoring. If you love coffee, Paix is a place you must check out when in RVA.“

“Sefton is the greatest cafe in richmond, the staff are so kind to everyone who comes in. I get the same thing every time I come in to the point where barista’s and the owners know my order 😂. I get it bc it’s easy on my stomach, but they have such an amazing looking menu and are always changing it to fit the season! I always make sure to bring friends and family who are visiting here because it really is a special part of the community 🙂“

I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. Get your order “for here” , and Chill to the beats of new and old school jams while you enjoy this little local gem.“

There’s a cozy outdoor space where you can sit on a bench and enjoy your drink, and the fact that they allow dogs out back was perfect for us since we had our pup with us.

I ordered an iced chai latte, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had—spiced just right and super refreshing. My fiancé got an iced coffee with cookie butter, and it was equally delicious. We especially enjoyed the sour cherry pistachio croissant, which was soft yet flaky and made with fresh ingredients. The chai tea latte was a bit subtle in flavor and could benefit from a bolder profile. Lines can get long and seating is limited, so visiting early is recommended.“

“I bought some Dark as Dark from the grocery store! My wife likes dark roast! She usually uses a creamer. I drink mine black! This has to be the smoothest dark roast I have ever tried! I usually end up with a bitter aftertaste with the dark roasts I have tried so far. Not with this. We bought a grinder thinking that may be the problem but even with fresh beans lots of dark roasts still give that bitter aftertaste. This is tasty all the way through! I’ll be buying this from now on and I like the fact that we will be supporting a Va business as well. We will have to try out one of your locations in Richmond some time!“

The best thing about the place is the staff, they are just the greatest, every single one of them. I can't say enough good things about them. “I absolutely loved Early Bird Biscuit Company. The environment alone is worth the visit — delightful, warm, and full of character. The space is decorated with vintage early-1900s artwork, much of it featuring dogs, which gives the place a really charming, unexpected personality. There’s also an old National cash register and an apothecary-style glass cabinet for the bakery items that make it feel timeless and thoughtfully curated.

The food was excellent. I had a huge biscuit stacked with two pieces of sausage and egg, and everything tasted genuinely made from scratch — because it clearly is. The biscuit was substantial, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, not just big for the sake of being big.

What really ties it all together is the staff. Everyone was pleasant, happy, and clearly enjoying what they do. You can feel the joy they put into making the biscuits, and that energy carries straight through to the customer experience.

Early Bird Biscuit Company is one of those places that gets everything right: atmosphere, food, and people. A true Richmond gem.“

“I enjoy this Dunkin location very much, in fact it's my favorite one. The staff are always nice, they're quick to offer to replace or comp an order not made correctly; especially if you call and calmly relay an issue with an order. My wife has enjoyed this location for nearly a decade and introduced me to it a few years back. We look forward to our next visit!“
