“Our first dinner in Seattle was at Joey Bellevue, and it was outstanding. We started with the mini French dips, which came with a port red wine au jus reduction easily among the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the steak and ravioli blanco, paired with their signature crispy mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and flavorful, the ravioli was rich and buttery, the shrimp was perfectly fresh, and the crispy mashed potatoes were truly memorable. Our server, Lanesha, went above and beyond to make the night special. She surprised us with a crème brûlée cheesecake with strawberries as a welcome-to-vacation treat, such a thoughtful touch! The food, service, and atmosphere all combined to create a wonderful first-night-in-Seattle experience. Highly recommend Joey Bellevue for both locals and visitors.”

With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. I could have ordered every item on their menu, but decided on lamb korma with pulao rice, chicken korma & samosa. It was plenty for us to share. We met both the owner & chef. “We were visiting Seattle from New York, so we searched on Google and found the best reviews of Shahana Steakhouse. We decided to stop by for the Ramadan Buffet (we visited a couple more restaurants in Seattle), so the best Iftar buffet and the out-of-class service in the Seattle area is here, with excellent customer service and a perfectly managed buffet. I noticed they were crazy busy on weekdays. The restaurant was full of people, and there was a long line; the staff served dates in the line and continued filling the dishes with food, even for families that were joining very late. Everything was fresh and warm, including their delicious pizza, fried chicken, and tikka boti. I loved Shahi Tukray; you must try it if you are there for a buffet. They even served the food at the tables for the customers who came in later. They came to us twice at our table to serve the food. Everything was very well set up, and there was fantastic management. I am going there for suhoor/breakfast and will let you all know about the homemade parathas and omelets. Stay tuned.”

It is in a strip mall so this is not meant to be fancy. Think small cafeteria style. Of the dishes the on that stood out for me was the chili shrimp. Otherwise pretty generic stuff. Beef had a diffrent texture to it that didn't suit me well. But if your into Asian cuisine make your own opinion. I more then likely won't go back. Quality of food for the money not a win for me.”

Check out their Instagram for monthly special drink menus (coffee or redbull/lotus). You can also find current hours and holiday hours there.
Their caramel macchiato is less sweet than Starbucks. Their matcha is on the sweeter side for matcha and doesn't need additional syrup - it's great on its own but isn't too much if you do add syrup flavor. They will happily customize drinks for you including different milks or random syrups.
Only thing I don't recommend is the cold brew.”

I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. “I recently visited MTR to experience authentic Bangalore-style South Indian food, hoping for the same traditional taste that MTR is known for back home. Overall, it was a pleasant visit with a few highlights and one notable disappointment.
We ordered the Idli Vada Sambar Dip, Bonda Soup, and the famous MTR Masala Dosa. The idli and vada were both soft and flavorful, and the sambar dip was excellent — rich, aromatic, and very close to the authentic Bangalore taste. The bonda soup was also enjoyable, light yet full of flavor.
However, the biggest letdown was the signature MTR Masala Dosa. Traditionally, MTR’s dosa is known for its distinct flavor and the signature red chutney spread inside, but here it was missing. The dosa itself was quite thin and lacked the authentic texture and taste, making it feel a bit overpriced for what was served.
That said, the restaurant was clean, service was quick, and the overall quality of food (apart from the dosa) was impressive. If they could bring back the signature MTR dosa style, it would elevate the experience significantly.
In summary, it’s a good place for authentic South Indian food, especially for idlis, vadas, and sambar — just not quite the full MTR Bangalore experience yet.”

“Our first dinner in Seattle was at Joey Bellevue, and it was outstanding. We started with the mini French dips, which came with a port red wine au jus reduction easily among the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the steak and ravioli blanco, paired with their signature crispy mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and flavorful, the ravioli was rich and buttery, the shrimp was perfectly fresh, and the crispy mashed potatoes were truly memorable. Our server, Lanesha, went above and beyond to make the night special. She surprised us with a crème brûlée cheesecake with strawberries as a welcome-to-vacation treat, such a thoughtful touch! The food, service, and atmosphere all combined to create a wonderful first-night-in-Seattle experience. Highly recommend Joey Bellevue for both locals and visitors.”
