“I mainly go there for their 麻辣火鍋.
I also purchase their麻辣火鍋 package sauce for home and gift.
The quality of their food are just average nothing stand out.
The restaurant is inside the shopping mall. it's located on the second floor, facing the street corner.
They are right above HMart.
If this is the first time that you are going to the restaurant. It's kinda hard to find. Go to information center and ask the lady for directions.”
“Haley made our visit to Lulu Island Winery a wonderful experience. He was so welcoming and was extremely clear in communicating the details of each wine. I would definitely recommend making a stop to try their ice wine. His demonstrations and responses to our questions were fantastic!
Ps. Avoid the older female Caucasian staff member with glasses. She gave us a look that made us feel unwelcome.”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“The soup broth here is delicious and high quality tasting. We tried the pork rib and the century egg and cilantro broth and both had plenty of ingredients and rich flavour. Would recommend getting the sauce bar option for $3.99 more as it includes fruit, some sides like edamame and pickled radish, as well as the sauces. They have complimentary hair ties that are very thin but work. Wish they had ayce all the time but it’s only limited hours and when we went, it was a la carte. It’s still pretty good but not as amazing as Hai di Lao in terms of a la carte hot pot.”

“Wonderful food! the chicken and waffles are amazing! You Gotta eat here!”
“"Baan Lao took me on a remarkable culinary journey, featuring Chef Nutcha's, "A Taste of Baan Lao." Each course left me captivated, anticipating the next tantalizing offering. The wine pairings flawlessly complemented the flavours, enhancing the taste adventure. The attentive service staff provided a first-class experience, ensuring every detail was covered. The fusion of Thai and Canadian flavours showcased culinary perfection. Each plate presented an exquisite masterpiece, meticulously crafted as a work of art both in taste and presentation. It was impossible to choose a favourite, as every course was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Baan Lao as a must-visit destination. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional dining experience, and unforgettable flavours, Baan Lao promises to create lasting memories for any food enthusiast. My compliments to the Chef and her team for the exquisite evening and the unique journey that I am eager to revisit! Thank you."”

“Jaspreet is wonderful to deal with. She served us many times and she stands out. She builds our sandwiches generously and is very chill to talk to. Wouldn't go to any other subways now knowing that she works at this one. The area and environment is also always very clean. Many thanks Jaspreet! You deserve a promotion.”
“Uncle faiths pizza in Richmond is located on a bus only street... after typing their location in our GPS to pickup the ordered pizza, it led us to an abandoned parking lot. Called Uncle Faiths pizza to get the address to pickup the pizza, and typed it into our GPS. there was no mention about the street being a bus only street by my GPS or the pizza establishment. I turn down the street and am met by a police officer and a $124 ticket for turning down the street. no parking on the cross street before either, so assuming you need to park a few blocks away? Honest question, is uncle faiths working with VPD to ticket people? Entrapment?”
“The food and service were outstanding. After a long day of travel, the restaurant was a welcome rest. We sampled the prime rib, chicken wings, and wedge salad, all of which were tender and delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.”
“Great food , great friendly service and staff . This is the only Indian restaurant I will eat at in Steveston. Very clean too.”
“My husband and I love eating out at Dolpan! I always get bulgogi hot plate and my husband gets stir fried bulgogi noodles. They both come in a skillet. So delicious🤤 They also come with soy potatoes, kimchi, and rice. We always leave stuffed and still able to bring a bit back home. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely spectacular !!! Each bite of every type of dish was nothing but amazing. !!! Everything was perfect, Mushroom Risotto was exceptional, lavender mocktail, Beef Wellington and sides, and of course the sticky toffee pudding is a must. Our server Allan (I’d sooner call him a “liaison” or “guide”) was nothing less than “textbook” and could write a manual on how to do this job because he nailed it 1000%. Courteous, polite, provided nothing but the best service, spent some time chatting with us, but also left us alone too and was literally there every time we needed something and was one step ahead. Absolute credit to Gordon Ramsays steak restaurant.”
“I really wanted to thank this establishment as it provided my family of 4 the best meal since arriving in canada on holiday from uk. We generally eat Persian food in the UK and was delighted to find this place, food, atmosphere and price was excellent. We will be visiting 1 or 2 more times before heading back to the UK.”
“I got the mango tea with sago. It was pretty good but I wish there was a 30% sugar level because I still found 50% a bit sweet.
I had never been here before so I asked ONE question about popular choices and received a snappy response (there was no other customer in there at the time).
3.5 stars for the whole experience but rounded to 4 because I’m sure the drinks can be good if you’re familiar with their menu.”
“What an awesome little place kind of tucked away in the second floor of a plaza. The service was excellent and welcoming and the food was amazing! The value and quality of the food was top notch. We ordered a bunch of sushi as well as the Japanese BBQ platter and it was perfect.
Definitely one of the best meals we had while visiting BC!”
“If you love bold flavors and a good spice challenge, Curry Soup Garaku is the place to be! Their spice levels range from 1 to 40, making it perfect for everyone—from mild spice lovers to heat daredevils. I tried Level 30 (definitely not for the faint of heart!) and had to tap out after a few bites, but their lassi was a lifesaver. My partner finished Level 30 like a champ, though not without breaking a sweat!
I ended up switching to Level 5 and absolutely loved it—so flavorful and balanced. The curry soup is rich, comforting, and packed with delicious ingredients. They also have $1 chicken wings during happy hour, which are a great addition to the meal.
The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a fun date night or a casual hangout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something unique and exciting!”
“Good breakfast options. Their seafood platter however (dinner menu) seemed a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise, we have always been happy with the service and food.”

“Parneet provided excellent service at Subway! She greeted me warmly with a smile and made sure my order was prepared exactly the way I wanted. She was attentive, friendly, and quick, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s always nice to be served by someone who genuinely cares about the customer, and Parneet definitely made my visit a positive one. I’ll definitely be coming back thanks to her great service!”
“We absolutely love this Subway location and have been happy repeat customers for a long time! The staff here are always so friendly and welcoming, and Jashan truly goes above and beyond—she’s incredibly kind, attentive, and makes every visit feel special. Even when the Subway app isn’t working and we have to call in, Jashan remembers all our special requests perfectly, making ordering a breeze. My toddler’s face lights up the moment I tell her we’re going to Subway—it’s become one of her favourite treats! Thank you to Jashan and the whole team for your outstanding service, warm hospitality, and consistently delicious food. We’ll be back again and again! :)”
“I’m not usually leaving a review but this person has beyond my expectation! Kudos to Glen who took our orders! My son’s keep changing their orders when ordering in the store. he managed to work with us professionally and patiently to settle our orders. Even his manager or supervisor asked him more tasks to do while taking orders. Thank you for an Awesome Customer Service Glen
Kid-friendliness: Friendly service”
“This place is open 24/7
They got this cheap 3 pieces meal for 12.99 or something. Lol definitely great place for people who stay late out and hungry.
It's sometimes busy, so maybe the staff forgot to empty the garage bins or clean the tables. I only take out when I get the chance, and yes, they got drive-through.”
“I went there around 11pm friday, the counter in store line was till the door thought i should go to drive thru for quick pickup but there were only 2 employees working tgey were suffering literally…
Dont know whether its short staff or what but it was extremely busy it took me 15min at drive thru and when the guy passed me drink and the other guy passed me food i could literally see they were just at the stage of crying people were yelling on them . Appreciate you guys that u guys worked really hard. Dont let anyone bother you keep it up. I hope they are good now ….. poor employees …”
“So, I think this was my second time eating at this place. So, I'm not very familiar with this chain. My choice was the classic bacon thingy burger with poutine and a medium Coke. The asking price was $17. The place is clean and well-kept. The employees are friendly. My burger was delicious but... the bun was cold. Which somewhat spoiled the experience. My poutine could also have been better. It was small and all the cheese was stuck together. However, I fell in love with the Coke, served in a clear plastic cup with a spout. So no need for a straw! I loved it!”
“A few friends and I went for the first time and were blown away with the quality of the meal, service, and ambiance- definitely a place to return to and I just saw they do ‘brunch’. worth visiting!”
“Phenomenal food. Ordered the soba noodles soup, spicy salmon rolls, and some various tempura. Food all tasted very fresh. However, it is on the pricier end and the portions could be a little larger.
The service is great too! They check in on you just enough to make sure you are good but not so much as they do in most typical restaurants. Excellent ambience and experience overall.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Good Pour over coffee, and the sandwiches are very decent. Had scallop and shrimp sandwich and spicy chilly duck sandwich. Seen lots of people come here for oyster but too bad I am not an oyster fan, looks super fresh!”

“Great self-serve bar and menu. The squid is simply amazing, and the chicken doesn't disappoint. Solid atmosphere too. A perfect place for a night out with friends.”
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”

“Hamachi carpaccio (from daily special) 10/10 we all loved it
2x scallop uni cream fettuccine (my personal favourite)
Sakura shrimp & shirasu
Pulled pork ragù fusilli
Yuzu ice cream (from daily special) - I personally loved this one, it was fragrant, light and refreshing, perfect for ending off a carb heavy meal
Service was great, food arrived quickly despite a full restaurant. Staff are very attentive. I’ve dined here multiple times and will continue to recommend Wasuta to others.”
“Come to this location every time for workout diet, the sandwich is on par here just like every other Subway location. Shubhneet (the staff) is always friendly. For food handling, she change the gloves every time in between customers just like always, sometimes even change twice during the food processing. Would definitely recommend to friends and family to grab the sandwich at this location. Peace”
“Anar catered our daughter’s engagement and also prepared and delivered extra trays. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and their prompt, professional service made everything seamless. Thank you, Anar, for helping make a special night truly memorable—we highly recommend you for any celebration!”
“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“Huge portions. Good prices , sign on the board is what you pay incl. taxes.
It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.
This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.”
“Stop by for some quality rice rolls!
We got the shrimp rice roll ($9) and truffle seafood rice roll ($14). The rice rolls are perfectly thin but bouncy, not easily something you can find elsewhere. This is a different style from the rice rolls at dim sum, where the filling is wrapped inside the rice roll. Definitely don’t skip the soy sauce and hot sauce on top as the sauces make the rice rolls 🤌”
“If you want to have the real taste of fresh sushi, you must come here🍣🍱the atmosphere of the restaurant is very beautiful 🍤and the waiters are very polite.Unfortunately, we went at the end of the night and many of the dishes were finished,😅but we were very satisfied with the three special rolls we had.”
“Great place to eat, service was so friendly and the vibe was fun. Loved how the owner Spencer came to do quality check to make sure if we didnt like anything, he wanted to know and make it right.
Highly recommend!”
“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.”

“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“Always great food consistency. Been eating there since they were in Vancouver. Definitely a favourite with our family.”

“I had the most heartwarming experience at Praguery last Sunday! The ice cream was absolutely DELICIOUS, but what really made my day was the exceptional service from Alex and Andrea!. Both were super sweet and patient when I was choosing between the flavours, and they helped me pick the best one! I loved how they made sure I had a memorable time. They’re the reason I’ll be coming back for more ice cream this summer!
Rating: 10/10 🌟
Would recommend: 1000% 🩷”

“Friendly service, great food and an amazing setting on the water. Beautiful location! We were there for a birthday and we felt very well taken care of! Staff is so enthusiastic! Thanks Milltown!”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”

“I’d give a 4.5. We didn’t realize this was a $50-60 per person type of place 😅 but the food is reliably good. Other than pricing, the other negative is the hand rolls had smaller and lower quality pieces of fish than the nigiri. They were also out of uni yet charge the same price for all uni dishes”
“Food is really good! You have your privacy too, 100% would recommend this restaurant”
“They have the best burgers in town! I always forget to take a photo of the burger because I get too excited. Their fish and chips are great as well. The drinks are amazing and the staff are really nice. I highly recommend this spot!”
“The dry pots were very flavourful and the udon noodles also taste great!
The food is on the pricier side, however, and they have this rule where you have to pay by cash if your order is below $50, so either bring cash or prepare to artificially beef up your order to reach $50. Also, the wait times can be quite long.”
“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“This place is so good 10/10 recommend
Our server Nick was a G, was super thoughtful and helpful, brought our little dogs some water and gave the best food recommendations.
My favorite thing was T3. Beef Rib Bánh Hỏi
Karaoke inside looked hype”
“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“The number of authentic Chinese food where I live in the states is a rather sad amount, hence why we drive for a while to a whole different country for some hella authentic food.
Been going here for many years, quality has never changed; definitely the go-to spot for Dim Sum. Sure, there might be runner-ups, but their vibes just aren't the same.
Atmosphere: see, what I mean by vibes are the carts that wheel the Dim Sum by, the long wait lines (you got people lining up even at three or four o'clock), and the owner somehow managing to bid a customer goodbye, take an order, and holler out a name for the next person up in line to come on up.
Service: ooh, might I also mention, best to call in and reserve a spot ahead of time. That might cut down your wait time from half to one hour to the five to fifteen minutes I usually have to wait. Since it's so busy, do expect a slight delay in service if you want to order something specific or get your tea refilled. It's alright, it's understandable. Oh, also, they do take extra requests! For example, my family and I don't like stuff too heavy on salt or oil, so we asked if we could get the fried beef noodles (干炒牛河粉) with less salt and oil, it did come waaay lighter. Thanks!
Food: now... if I were to write down every single food and my corresponding rating, I might hit the review character limit... just trust me on this! You can't go wrong with anything, so whether you're looking for an authentic vibe and experience or you have zero idea what to try, you really can't go wrong! Everything's amazing.
There's a reason there are thousands of reviews of this place, and I know many restaurants that have hiked up prices or lowered their quality after getting a bit more popular. In my experience, the food quality has pretty much stayed the same. Commendable!
Is it worth driving over three hours just to here? Yup, it is.”
“Thai Box is our #1 dining destination every time we're in Richmond. The service is excellent and the food is authentic Thai. We'll keep going back so long as that doesn't change.”
“The food tastes very good and everyone is so friendly and provide the high quality service”
“Lovely little Japanese place hidden away. Kind and friendly staff. Quick service. Clean kitchen and sesting area.
Hubby and I ordered 2 Asahi, 1 spicy salmon roll, and salmon oshi.
One negative would be the washrooms. They were clean but they looked very old. No hook to hang a jacket.”
“Always go for the sushi set, it’s the best way to enjoy a variety, from rich tuna to buttery hamachi to delicate shima aji. The cold freshness of the fish meets the gentle warmth of the rice, and every piece is spot-on. The miso soup is also a standout, layered with deep fish umami and savory miso. Highly recommend! Please don’t expect hotel service here considering it’s a family owned business with a couple working, some items might take time but it’s worth the wait.”
“Kid-friendliness: Superb friendly excellent service and a calm relaxing family friendly atmosphere! My kid loves their sushi especially the cheese potato roll! Highly recommend the chicken curry don. Such generous servings too!! If you come hungry you’ll definitely leave substantially gastronomically appeased and happy!”
“Outstanding friendly service from the enthusiastic and attentive staff❣️Above & beyond food especially the lunch bento❣️”
“Really enjoyed lunch with the curry tendon on rice. Staff was friendly and had a very nice atmosphere. Pleasant Japanese music was playing in the background. Each table had a small traditional dish of pickled daikon. Yummy. Street side parking just outside”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“Delicious food and great attentive service. We had three children with us and they provided an activity for them and child friendly menu option as well. Would definitely recommend.
Kid-friendliness: We appreciated the extra touches the restaurant provided to make our dinner family friendly including a painting activity for the kids and a child specific menu option that included dessert.”
“I did my research around the area ahead and locked this sushi restaurant as it has good options and prices.
After visiting the fisherman wharf and the Cannery, we came here for lunch.
The Chirashi Don was nicely packed with dishes. Chicken teriyaki has great portion. I ordered the Mega Sashimi which was nicely presented and good quality fish. I may got more fish for the same price with two Sashimi bento, but those would be more average fish.
Very fresh food, very friendly staff.”
“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“I had a great experience at Tai Er! The sauerkraut fish was packed with bold flavors, and the spice level was just right even for kids. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant has a vibrant, modern vibe, perfect for a casual night out with friends or family.”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”
“Immerse yourself in a culinary delight where freshness takes center stage. The ingredients used are sourced meticulously to ensure unrivaled quality, resulting in an extraordinary dining experience. The service provided is nothing short of exceptional, with attentive staff dedicated to making your time truly memorable. What sets this establishment apart is their commitment to regularly import seasonal seafood directly from Japan, delivering a tantalizing array of flavors that showcase the finest offerings from the sea. Prepare to be enchanted by the harmonious combination of fresh ingredients, impeccable service, and the exquisite taste of seasonal seafood delicacies transported all the way from Japan.”
“Me and my boyfriend had a really nice experience here, food is amazing, chef gave us variety types of food and fish. Every staff here is so nice and kind. We came visiting Vancouver and glad we found this place!”
“I tried the set meal it offers. In terms of value for money, it’s pretty good. It’s definitely enough for one person, and the ingredients are okay. However, I chose the wrong pot base. The peppery pork belly pot base had too strong of a technological flavor... ...The artificial freshness makes the tongue numb...It makes everything cooked taste the same, and the soup is inedible because it is too fresh. If I had known better, I might as well have ordered a clear soup...I suggest the store give this soup more base Mix it with some water...it might be better...”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Absolutely loved this place! Super friendly service and I loved the decor and spacious seating, especially since I'm a big guy lol. The food? Excellent. You have to try the eggplant it's the best eggplant dish I've ever had. If you love definitely, spicy food this is the place to go!”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“If you love seafood, this place is fantastic. Been there plenty of times and my personal favourite is oysters, dumplings and hand cut noodles. They gave really good marinated items as well like duck and salmon. Oysters are always fresh. This is one place i ate seafood where I haven't had an upset tummy.
Happy hour items are really good price as well.
Amazing service, the staff is friendly and quick.”
“Hidden gem! Great food and friendly, efficient service. We ordered bibimbaps and it came with a lot of side dishes that we loved. I wish bibimbaps had a little more meat but overall it was totally worth it. Recommend 💯”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“Zodiac Karaoke has amazing attentive staff. The manager whose name i think was Jen, was super welcoming and showed great care to us. Prices are also very reasonable! Definitely would go back”
“recommended restaurant ever and food are so delicious and fantastic and excellent experience and ambiance. Will come back here this is one of my favorite ever”
“5⭐️ Best sashimi i ever had , great service very clean . High quality of food definitely go back .”

“The staff are very kind. We have the all you can eat beef and lamb. The soup with mushroon was a good choice. Perfect blend with the meat. Have to book ahead online so that you won't have to wait so long. Best to have groups.”
“We arrived just before 4 so we were able to order from the lunch menu. E everyone ordered bento box. It was a lot of food so come hungry. They served us toasted rice tea, very nice. With the bento boxes you had a choice of salad or edamame. Service was fast and courteous. Food was delicious. Great location for a lunch or dinner before dropping someone off at the airport.”

“Had a great lunch experience here, the lady who was helping us was very kind and attentive. 2 for $39.99 combo was perfect for two. Overall would recommend visiting if you’re looking to try shabu shabu”
“We visited this great cafe and were not disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered and a salmon and eggs benny, americano, hot chocolate. The experience was excellent. I’d definitely recommend the cafe to everyone including those OUAT fans.”
“Great food, the lamb shank and the rice are so tender and tasty. Clean and great service”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“LOVE this place! The service is excellent and so is the food - always consistent since they opened. It’s perfect if you want a night out watching sports and having some drinks, or a nice dinner with the family (my kids’ first choice for their birthday dinners).”
“We had the chance to attend the Celebration of the Legacy of Sensei Ian Noboru Miki, a Kendo Master, at The Canadian Brew House & Grill in Richmond, BC, and it was a wonderful experience.
The ambiance and atmosphere are very appealing and warm. It’s not your typical Irish pub vibe; instead, it offers a distinctly Canadian-style brew house experience that feels inviting and relaxed.
We ordered the House Hamburger, Yam Fries, and an IPA Beer. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was impressively fast. The waitresses were polite, cheerful, and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
This is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or simply grabbing a drink while watching a sports game. Whether you’re meeting friends or attending a special event, the atmosphere is lively yet comfortable.
If you’re in the Richmond area, The Canadian Brew House & Grill is definitely worth a visit.”
“We loved the spicy cold noodles and jajangmyeong! Super saucy and flavourful. The owner Jeff was also really awesome and friendly. Definitely a phenomenal place for good food and good energy”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“This is my favourite restaurant. Dim sum is excellent with loads of variety. The dinner menu also has wonderful dishes. The beef with wasabi is a particular favourite of mine. Food aside, the staff is very attentive and ever so friendly. The owner is very nice as is Sandi who will greet you at the door, so are Eddie, Gary & Ian to name but a few.”
“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..”
“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?”

Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. “Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”

“This was the first time in allllll my travels of eating in an airport restaurants where they weren’t understaffed, and at that the staff was super attentive!! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the server took out the egg for my allergy and added extra bacon at no cost! Wish this place was in the international side of the YVR airport!”
“I ordered a medium spice chicken livers but unfortunately it was not as spicy as I would have liked. They give you sachets of sauce instead of cooking the chicken livers in medium sauce. I would have liked my peri peri chicken livers cooked that way. The portion was quite small for the price $11.30. My fiance got the vegetarian sandwich which he enjoyed. The staff was friendly. We feel that when we ordered that they should list what sides they have to make more sales. We said that we didn't want sides. But when we got home we thought we should have got sides and landed up going to the 711 for potato wedges $8 for 20 potato wedges.”
“The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is attentive, and the food is outstanding. From tender BBQ skewers to crispy appetizers, everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned. I especially enjoy their noodles and chicken dishes. The pricing is fair considering the generous servings, and the whole space feels inviting and clean.”
“Our wait time to be seated was quite reasonable considering how busy it was. Kayla provided excellent service, informative feedback and suggestions when asked about menu items, prompt service and attention, well-timed follow ups . We enjoyed the food and the service was exceptional.”

“A family-run restaurant that serves very good Malaysian food in the region. The vegan and vegetarian options are limited but customising is welcomed. Mix veggie curry made with coconut broth and loads of veggies goes well with a bowl of coconut rice for a scrumptious healthy meal. Prices are a bit high but justifiable given the touristy location.”
“Food is too good. Highly recommended. I tried steam monos over here. They were far more better than all the restaurants around the town. I even recommend the store to open up in Surrey.”
“We are so excited to have you come back! Wish you could have a good time!”
