“They were able to accommodate a large party on Mother's Day without compromising service! Our server was super helpful and friendly! Great value and quality, wlll definitely return”
“Haley made our visit to Lulu Island Winery a wonderful experience. He was so welcoming and was extremely clear in communicating the details of each wine. I would definitely recommend making a stop to try their ice wine. His demonstrations and responses to our questions were fantastic!
Ps. Avoid the older female Caucasian staff member with glasses. She gave us a look that made us feel unwelcome.”
“First time hot potting. The waiter was so helpful and the food was delicious!!! We will definitely be back again!”
“Absolutely loved this hot pot restaurant! The ingredients were super fresh, especially the thinly sliced beef and seafood. The broth had a rich, flavorful base – we tried both the spicy and mushroom options and they were amazing. The dipping sauces were customizable and really brought everything together.
The service was excellent – staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to refill the soup or bring more ingredients. The environment was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing dinner with friends.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic and satisfying hot pot. Will definitely come back!”

“"Baan Lao took me on a remarkable culinary journey, featuring Chef Nutcha's, "A Taste of Baan Lao." Each course left me captivated, anticipating the next tantalizing offering. The wine pairings flawlessly complemented the flavours, enhancing the taste adventure. The attentive service staff provided a first-class experience, ensuring every detail was covered. The fusion of Thai and Canadian flavours showcased culinary perfection. Each plate presented an exquisite masterpiece, meticulously crafted as a work of art both in taste and presentation. It was impossible to choose a favourite, as every course was a delight for both the eyes and the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend Baan Lao as a must-visit destination. “Uncle faiths pizza in Richmond is located on a bus only street... after typing their location in our GPS to pickup the ordered pizza, it led us to an abandoned parking lot. Called Uncle Faiths pizza to get the address to pickup the pizza, and typed it into our GPS. there was no mention about the street being a bus only street by my GPS or the pizza establishment. I turn down the street and am met by a police officer and a $124 ticket for turning down the street. no parking on the cross street before either, so assuming you need to park a few blocks away? Honest question, is uncle faiths working with VPD to ticket people? Entrapment?”
“Great food , great friendly service and staff . This is the only Indian restaurant I will eat at in Steveston. Very clean too.”
“My husband and I love eating out at Dolpan! I always get bulgogi hot plate and my husband gets stir fried bulgogi noodles. They both come in a skillet. So delicious🤤 They also come with soy potatoes, kimchi, and rice. We always leave stuffed and still able to bring a bit back home. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely spectacular !!! Each bite of every type of dish was nothing but amazing. !!! Everything was perfect, Mushroom Risotto was exceptional, lavender mocktail, Beef Wellington and sides, and of course the sticky toffee pudding is a must. Our server Allan (I’d sooner call him a “liaison” or “guide”) was nothing less than “textbook” and could write a manual on how to do this job because he nailed it 1000%. Courteous, polite, provided nothing but the best service, spent some time chatting with us, but also left us alone too and was literally there every time we needed something and was one step ahead. Absolute credit to Gordon Ramsays steak restaurant.”
“I don’t normally enjoy kebabs because I find the meats to be dry and unflavorful. That being said, this was the best kebab rice dish I’ve had so far and would definitely come back again. The chicken and beef kebab were tender and juicy and paired very nicely with the tzatziki sauce. The salad dressing was very enjoyable as well and the rice was aromatic. Good amount of seating available and very kid friendly. By noon there is a long line up so be prepared to wait.”
“I got the mango tea with sago. It was pretty good but I wish there was a 30% sugar level because I still found 50% a bit sweet.
I had never been here before so I asked ONE question about popular choices and received a snappy response (there was no other customer in there at the time).
3.5 stars for the whole experience but rounded to 4 because I’m sure the drinks can be good if you’re familiar with their menu.”
“Trying to get a late night dinner with a friend past 9pm and this place was ideal as it closes at 11pm compared to other places in Richmond.
Although we were just slightly hungry, we ordered two pieces of sushi followed by a beef platter to grill. Food was great and aesthetics were good as well. Since it was more on the later side of the night, lots of tables were empty with minimal staffing.
As it was not my first time here, I am familiar with the BBQ and sushi options. The pricing is bit on the higher end, but it makes up for it especially the sushi options.
Complimentary 2h parking included makes this place easy to get parking space. Worthy recommendations for 5 stars.”
“If you love bold flavors and a good spice challenge, Curry Soup Garaku is the place to be! Their spice levels range from 1 to 40, making it perfect for everyone—from mild spice lovers to heat daredevils. I tried Level 30 (definitely not for the faint of heart!) and had to tap out after a few bites, but their lassi was a lifesaver. My partner finished Level 30 like a champ, though not without breaking a sweat!
I ended up switching to Level 5 and absolutely loved it—so flavorful and balanced. The curry soup is rich, comforting, and packed with delicious ingredients. They also have $1 chicken wings during happy hour, which are a great addition to the meal.
The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a fun date night or a casual hangout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something unique and exciting!”
“Good breakfast options. Their seafood platter however (dinner menu) seemed a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise, we have always been happy with the service and food.”

“This McDonald’s is always pretty efficient, even when it’s busy. I never have to wait long for my food.
The fries are consistently good—hot, crispy, and fresh almost every time. I think the high foot traffic helps since they’re always making new batches.
They recently had a chicken item (I think it was the McSpicy or something similar) that was surprisingly good. The chicken was tender and seasoned well, not dry at all.
Everything is done right. Just solid food and fast service. Five stars.”
“I’m not usually leaving a review but this person has beyond my expectation! Kudos to Glen who took our orders! My son’s keep changing their orders when ordering in the store. he managed to work with us professionally and patiently to settle our orders. Even his manager or supervisor asked him more tasks to do while taking orders. Thank you for an Awesome Customer Service Glen
Kid-friendliness: Friendly service”
“I needed somewhere for a cheap dinner and this place was close to the hotel. It was clean and who could resist a root beer float. We'll, as it turns out this A&W restaurant. They don't serve Root beer floats. They also don't serve ice in their drinks. The staff were very helpful and friendly”
“May 14, Approximately 2:20am. I frequently visit this location due to its convenient proximity to my home. Each time, I utilize the drive-thru service. Tim consistently hands me my order at the window. I have considerable admiration for him. His passion for his work is evident. He consistently displays patience and a cheerful attitude when interacting with customers. Workers of his quality are rare in my experience at McDonald's. McDonald's Alderbridge is fortunate to have Tim. His job performance is exceptional.”
“This place is open 24/7
They got this cheap 3 pieces meal for 12.99 or something. Lol definitely great place for people who stay late out and hungry.
It's sometimes busy, so maybe the staff forgot to empty the garage bins or clean the tables. I only take out when I get the chance, and yes, they got drive-through.”
“Spicy Pro Hot Pot 8542 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6P 4Z7 Spicy Pro Hot Pot brings a unique and thoroughly enjoyable new dining experience to our neighborhood of Marpole. The aroma of the soup bases wafting from the modest storefront will stop you in your tracks and draw you inside. After choosing from a wide array of ingredients to add to one of three delicious soup bases, you can relax and enjoy the fun and cozy ambiance while the kitchen prepares your dish. When it arrives at your table in a generously large and elegant serving bowl you will immediately notice the care with which it has been assembled. Presentation is not lacking here and the money is being spent in the right place: the kitchen! I and my partner are not light eaters, and we come away stuffed and blissed-out for less than $50. The staff provide patient and thoughtful assistance to new customers choosing their ingredients and spice level for the first time. We love spicy food and usually order things hot, but the mild level is just right for us here.”

“Good Pour over coffee, and the sandwiches are very decent. Had scallop and shrimp sandwich and spicy chilly duck sandwich. Seen lots of people come here for oyster but too bad I am not an oyster fan, looks super fresh!”

“My family loves going to this Subway location! Staff (Shubneet and Manjeet) are always super friendly, asking about the kids, and happy to see us no matter how busy they are. The sandwiches are always delicious, and they make sure to let us know about the specials of the day. Efficient, professional, and clearly taking pride and pleasure in their work. Will certainly continue going there regularly!”
“Meilleur déjeuner que j'ai mangé! Wow! Le toast au procuitto et burrata, wow! 😍❤️ Le service est très rapide. Par contre, c'est très bruyant même pour un mardi midi.”
“A few friends and I went for the first time and were blown away with the quality of the meal, service, and ambiance- definitely a place to return to and I just saw they do ‘brunch’. worth visiting!”
“Phenomenal food. Ordered the soba noodles soup, spicy salmon rolls, and some various tempura. Food all tasted very fresh. However, it is on the pricier end and the portions could be a little larger.
The service is great too! They check in on you just enough to make sure you are good but not so much as they do in most typical restaurants. Excellent ambience and experience overall.”

“I was passing Vancouver in transit on 20th July ,stayed overnight and went to the restaurant for having and taking away some chicken pieces for Saint John. NB as there was no P in Saint John. The girl at the counter was so courteous and very customer friendly .The service was very fast. The chicken was very tasty and crispy and prefect .I enjoyed very much and brought pieces to Saint John for my family. All were happy to eat them. I thank the whole team and wish you prosper .”
“Huge portions. Good prices , sign on the board is what you pay incl. taxes.
It was quite fast despite being really busy. I prefer takeout from here as the seating for the food court is usually packed.
This time tried the chicken nuggets + rice set meal this came with veggies ,egg and tofu for $14. Chicken is always really fresh , hot and crispy.
Like most stalls it is cash only ( or wechat/ alipay I think ). Sometimes they also have offers / coupons through Fantuan app even for pickup.”
“Had so much fun for my friend’s birthday dinner. Food so good and our server Tommy was nice and friendly. He’s professional and patient when introducing the dishes to us. And he constantly made sure all our needs were taken care of. I really enjoyed the vibe and setting of Koto. I’ll definitely come back again next time.”
“Stop by for some quality rice rolls!
We got the shrimp rice roll ($9) and truffle seafood rice roll ($14). The rice rolls are perfectly thin but bouncy, not easily something you can find elsewhere. This is a different style from the rice rolls at dim sum, where the filling is wrapped inside the rice roll. Definitely don’t skip the soy sauce and hot sauce on top as the sauces make the rice rolls 🤌”
“I’ve been walking past this place for the past two years, and I’m so glad I finally stopped in to try it!
The food was super tasty, and for the quality, the prices felt really reasonable. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
There are a lot of items on the menu, so it did take me a bit to decide, but I actually appreciated that the portions weren’t too big because it meant we could try a bunch of different dishes.
Highlights for me:
• The blue fin sesame tataki — so tender, it honestly felt like it melted in my mouth.
• The cooked beef short ribs — great flavor, and even the daikon that came with it was surprisingly good!
• The aburi toro saba — delicious with really nice attention to detail.
• The unagi don — bigger portion than we expected, but every bite was awesome.
Overall, great experience and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes!”
“The dry pots were very flavourful and the udon noodles also taste great!
The food is on the pricier side, however, and they have this rule where you have to pay by cash if your order is below $50, so either bring cash or prepare to artificially beef up your order to reach $50. Also, the wait times can be quite long.”
“This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!”
“Great place to eat, service was so friendly and the vibe was fun. Loved how the owner Spencer came to do quality check to make sure if we didnt like anything, he wanted to know and make it right.
Highly recommend!”
“Haven't been to Yuu for a while and we went back last week. Price didn't go up much despite the inflation. Kids order some special drink and the staff even gave them a small ice-cream cone to top it off. Great gesture. Would definitely be going back more often.”

“Since hubby misses Japan (the food especially) immensely, I decided to bring Japan to him for his birthday! It was more than we could've hoped for from the gracious hosts, Chef Ray and wife Christine, to the gorgeous presentation of each course, the preparations of each item, the texture, the taste and the cosy atmosphere. We savoured each bite, while enjoying the friendly banter between the hosts and a couple of their regulars at the bar seating. Highly recommend! side note: I was impressed by just how meticulous and thoughtful they are when I saw they even put a little decor under the washroom sink.”
“美味的日本餐 服務周到”
“If you're looking for hidden gems of Shanghai cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. Don’t let the exterior, located next to a car repair shop, fool you. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding, offering authentic Jiangzhe-style dishes that you won’t want to miss. We've already been there twice in one week! Highly recommend it!”
“I had the chicken leg kebab and lamb stew, and they were absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor, and everything was cooked perfectly. Great service and cozy atmosphere too. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“It’s in a weird location but the food is very good. Portions are a bit small for the price but it’s yummy. Their specials menu is weird lol they bring it on a giant board and put it on the floor in front of you upon seating and it gets in everyone’s way lol and then eventually take it away but it’s weird”

“This is my favorite weekly go-to place! Love their no-msg pho, grilled pork and chicken, stewed beef, etc. Their special homemade off-menu items always surprise me… seafood pho, chicken pho, shrimp dumplings, seafood spring rolls, etc. Got a chance to try their crab soup noodles today and it was amazingly tasty. It came with two huge crab cakes which were made with real crab meats and seasoned with dried shrimps. It was definitely the best crab soup noodles in town!”
“Berry Good cakes are very delicious. I've been here over the years and their cakes are always full of variety and good quality. This time I ordered takeout and got the crepe layered cakes in 4 flavors: chocolate, Oreo, chestnut and Earl grey. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to the cake pricing in other places these days. Will continue to support wonderful local small businesses like Berry Good.”
“Dubai Chocolate from Praguery – A Game Changer!
I’m not usually into sweet stuff, but the Dubai Chocolate cone from Praguery completely won me over. I got to try it at the food truck in Templeton, and honestly, it was next-level good. The freshly baked cinnamon cone was warm, soft on the inside, and crisp on the outside — total perfection. The ice cream was creamy and smooth, and the pistachio topping combo? Unreal
Thankyou Simran and team❣️”
“Friendly service, great food and an amazing setting on the water. Beautiful location! We were there for a birthday and we felt very well taken care of! Staff is so enthusiastic! Thanks Milltown!”
“If I could give 6 star for 5 service, I would. The owner (I think Jimmy) was a really chill dude, kept asking if everything was good and what else we need. Food was delicious and it really gave me that APT PT feel.”
“Was out in a chilly ride, stopped in for chips, gravy and a coffee.”

“Nice if you were open till 2 am like The Buck on Friday and Saturday nights, you'd get more business, people wanna party late! Otherwise nice place, family has been coming here since the 1960s.”
“Great experience here. I ordered the poached peach granola bowl - the portion was huge, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Iced latte tasted burnt though. But most importantly, they are pet-friendly. My friend, her puppy, and I sat on the patio on a rainy October day. Their patio is covered and heated, which is great even in lousy weather.”

“Beautiful setting, the best staff, great wine and delightful entertainment on weekends.”
“Thai Box is our #1 dining destination every time we're in Richmond. The service is excellent and the food is authentic Thai. We'll keep going back so long as that doesn't change.”
“Pretty good brunch option to go Dim Sum in Richmond. Although parking spots have 1H or 2H slots for free, parking sometimes may take a while.
Food taste is pretty good for an average dim sum experience with price points acceptable moving the rating to 4.
Service cart moves around all the time so you will constantly get more food should you choose to order more. For an Asian establishment, the service you expect is standard and a solid 4.
The atmosphere was good and lively in the dining area, but washrooms could be better maintained.
All in all, 4 stars is the rating I would give and recommend for others to bring more people to improve the experience.”
“The food tastes very good and everyone is so friendly and provide the high quality service”
“Lovely little Japanese place hidden away. Kind and friendly staff. Quick service. Clean kitchen and sesting area.
Hubby and I ordered 2 Asahi, 1 spicy salmon roll, and salmon oshi.
One negative would be the washrooms. They were clean but they looked very old. No hook to hang a jacket.”
“Really enjoyed lunch with the curry tendon on rice. Staff was friendly and had a very nice atmosphere. Pleasant Japanese music was playing in the background. Each table had a small traditional dish of pickled daikon. Yummy. Street side parking just outside”
“Kid-friendliness: Superb friendly excellent service and a calm relaxing family friendly atmosphere! My kid loves their sushi especially the cheese potato roll! Highly recommend the chicken curry don. Such generous servings too!! If you come hungry you’ll definitely leave substantially gastronomically appeased and happy!”
“Food with an original Italian test, pomodoro, Basil, garlic, Santa Cristina’s wine available!!!!! It is like a trattoria italiana”
“Outstanding friendly service from the enthusiastic and attentive staff❣️Above & beyond food especially the lunch bento❣️”
“Delicious food and great attentive service. We had three children with us and they provided an activity for them and child friendly menu option as well. Would definitely recommend.
Kid-friendliness: We appreciated the extra touches the restaurant provided to make our dinner family friendly including a painting activity for the kids and a child specific menu option that included dessert.”
“Delicious Indian food in Richmond.shahi paneer and methi chicken is authentic taste.”
“We made a reservation for dinner on Apr 22nd because we went the weekend before and it was 1 1/2 hour wait. The food was really good but small portions. We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”
“Immerse yourself in a culinary delight where freshness takes center stage. The ingredients used are sourced meticulously to ensure unrivaled quality, resulting in an extraordinary dining experience. The service provided is nothing short of exceptional, with attentive staff dedicated to making your time truly memorable. What sets this establishment apart is their commitment to regularly import seasonal seafood directly from Japan, delivering a tantalizing array of flavors that showcase the finest offerings from the sea. Prepare to be enchanted by the harmonious combination of fresh ingredients, impeccable service, and the exquisite taste of seasonal seafood delicacies transported all the way from Japan.”
“Everything was fantastic. Hadn't visited since the pandemic, and I was incredibly satisfied with the quality and service. The unagi nigiri and chutoro were the highlights of the meal, in addition to the chef's choice sashimi and nigiri plates. Sushi Hachi has been in my top 3 for 15+ years.”
“First time in and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food in Steveston! The Jalapeño Margaritas is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.”
“This restaurant has the best rolls I have ever had! They are unique, sizeable and very delicious. Getting a spot is quite difficult due to the small size of the restaurant and limited parking, there is always a line as soon as it opens! Luckily, there is street parking across the restaurant. Definitely recommend trying this spot, it's also very close and convenient to the harbour :)”
“The fish dish is very authentic. The flavour and texture are consistent with this dish in China. Most of the hot dishes in the combo are also very tasty. The fresh veggies are perfect cooked with the correct amount seasoning, and it is great for refreshing the palate between meat dishes. The fried rice and the rest of the dishes are also decently >8.5/10, but the pork ribs are a bit dry and served lukewarm.
Service is good, but you have to flag down the servers. Order is by QR code. They also perform a small ritual when they serve the fish.”
“If you love seafood, this place is fantastic. Been there plenty of times and my personal favourite is oysters, dumplings and hand cut noodles. They gave really good marinated items as well like duck and salmon. Oysters are always fresh. This is one place i ate seafood where I haven't had an upset tummy.
Happy hour items are really good price as well.
Amazing service, the staff is friendly and quick.”
“Me and my boyfriend had a really nice experience here, food is amazing, chef gave us variety types of food and fish. Every staff here is so nice and kind. We came visiting Vancouver and glad we found this place!”
“I tried the set meal it offers. In terms of value for money, it’s pretty good. It’s definitely enough for one person, and the ingredients are okay. However, I chose the wrong pot base. The peppery pork belly pot base had too strong of a technological flavor... ...The artificial freshness makes the tongue numb...It makes everything cooked taste the same, and the soup is inedible because it is too fresh. If I had known better, I might as well have ordered a clear soup...I suggest the store give this soup more base Mix it with some water...it might be better...”
“Went here for their opening! Shaved ice is amazing!! Got the shrimp meal n that’s great too!! Good vibe! Good staff!!”
“Absolutely loved this place! Super friendly service and I loved the decor and spacious seating, especially since I'm a big guy lol. The food? Excellent. You have to try the eggplant it's the best eggplant dish I've ever had. If you love definitely, spicy food this is the place to go!”
“Seafood platter and large clam chowder was delicious 😋 👍everything else is great, the place, fast service as usual. Kendra is the best, 👍👍”
“I've been coming to this location since last year and the food has always been tasty. The pumpkin soupbase is a game changer! Highly recommend! The AAA beef option also fit perfectly!”
“Great food and very good service, better than lots of Chinese restaurant out there”
“Hidden gem! Great food and friendly, efficient service. We ordered bibimbaps and it came with a lot of side dishes that we loved. I wish bibimbaps had a little more meat but overall it was totally worth it. Recommend 💯”
“recommended restaurant ever and food are so delicious and fantastic and excellent experience and ambiance. Will come back here this is one of my favorite ever”
“Such a good a sushi place, been going here for awhile and love it, new staff member Jamie was so lovely to deal with, she made a mistake on our order by accident (it happens!) & fixed it right away she was very friendly and sweet hope to get her as our waitress next time we eat in! Thanks again for everything Jamie!”
“The staff are very kind. We have the all you can eat beef and lamb. The soup with mushroon was a good choice. Perfect blend with the meat. Have to book ahead online so that you won't have to wait so long. Best to have groups.”
“A bit further than the other japanese restaurants in Richmond but we seem to go back whenever we're in town. Very decent portions and tasty dishes. I recommend the Deluxe assorted sashimi!”
“I found this is the best Chinese restaurant in Vancouver 👍👍👍”
“We loved it here so much! Only note was that half our table had to wait 10minutes for their meal so wish it had all been served together but everything tasted amazing! Even the drinks! It seems difficult for some places to make London fogs well but this place I almost got another one to go!”
“It was a nice experience l, a food experience that was close and convenient. The staff attentive and courteous. The chicken sandwich was a surprising delight.”
“The logo looks like a deli/meat store but it’s actually part of a chain. I haven’t tried the others (all a bit different) but this one came highly recommended by our foodie friends. Food: 5/5 - They have 12 must-order dishes including a fried eggplant 🍆 which was SO GOOD. A blast of flavour including spicy, savoury, sweet, and herb-y🌿? It was lightly fried and not too oily. Basically I loved it. Our second dish was not from the must-try only because I’m a huge sucker for sour-spicy clear noodles of any type. Although it was not as good as my favourite version of this dish from the Aberdeen food court (Sichuan style) HOWEVER Richie could actually eat this one because it wasn’t as spicy haha🔥. Essentially a “lighter” version but still packed with flavour. It came on a hard-to-reach, raised bowl but I think that’s easy enough to tweak. The restaurant is still new and feeling things out. Our last dish was an omu-rice mapo tofu (lol) and Richie loved it, “It hits the right flavour in every way - not too salty, not too spicy, great tangy-ness, a little oily but immensely appetizing.” The manager said that they make the chili oil and spices from scratch. Prior to our visit we also tried their “sauce duck” or 酱鸭 which is a “thick” soy sauce, sweet duck (think Cantonese/HK roasted duck but sweet) which might not be for everyone but it’s interesting and worth trying if you like food that’s both sweet and salty. There’s also a Nanjing salted duck that we’ll try next time😊. Service: 4/5 - There was only one server aside from the manager today but both were wonderful at checking in and very quick to react to our needs. It’s also the first weekend of “dining-in” again so I wouldn’t hold it against them. Price: $$ - They have a good mix of affordable and fancy choices alike. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - My only complaint is that it’s a too bright inside (I think mood is very important) and I’m not sure what they want to be. It’s not exactly fine dining nor is it casual, nor fun/hip. But the food is good enough that it doesn’t matter. I think we will enjoying coming here and slowing trying everything. #richmondeats #vancityeats”
“Great service and good food. Daily specials are good value and tastes great. Being a member also able to redeem points and promo item Inside is always too dark, can be quite loud when there is a game people are watching (tv turned up loud) Patio is comfy, but tables and chairs should be renewed. Current tables show quite a bit of weather damage”
“LOVE this place! The service is excellent and so is the food - always consistent since they opened. It’s perfect if you want a night out watching sports and having some drinks, or a nice dinner with the family (my kids’ first choice for their birthday dinners).”
“the food was great and amazing. staff were really attentive and helpful. wide assortment of food item options which made it super fun to make your hotpot! would definitely recommend this place :)”
“Had a great family meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory Richmond. With two kids, the all-inclusive meals are a lifesaver and such good value. Everyone left happy and full. Easy family dining!”
“We greatly enjoyed the happy hour and food. I highly recommend the halibut dinner. It was delicious. And our server, Justin, was fantastic.”

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”
“This is my favourite restaurant. Dim sum is excellent with loads of variety. The dinner menu also has wonderful dishes. The beef with wasabi is a particular favourite of mine. Food aside, the staff is very attentive and ever so friendly. The owner is very nice as is Sandi who will greet you at the door, so are Eddie, Gary & Ian to name but a few.”
“The best price for high quality food in Richmond,Loved the decorations of the restaurant.lots of free parking places. Very friendly staff provided a decent service. My wife and I were enjoying being there for lunch at least 4 times per week since 2020. We rated 5 stars and 2 thumbs up..”
“Ate at the Buffet at River Rock and enjoyed my meal just fine. Not sure bout the past comments. Perhaps things have changed. Chinese food was good, deep fried squid was great. Lots of seafood and sushi. The beef carving is not prime rib but for beef its fine. No crab anymore but has anyone seen the price of crab? No wonder. So overall good. Lots of salads and desserts plus nice soft ice cream. They said it was new mix! Overall ?”

“Good food, friendly and helpful staffs. Thank you for your excellent customer service this morning when we bought food especially the lady in the cash register with a big smile who gave balloons to my kids and my friend’s children, and the other lady( Ganan) who helped us with our order, provided bag and even arranged our food inside the bag. I highly recommend this place.”

“Fresher ingredients used on average than competing East Indian lunch buffet restaurant in Langley city. Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.”
“We came back for a second visit after loving it the first time - the Hong Kong-style crab and seafood rice were amazing, and the service was warm and attentive. This time was my boyfriend’s birthday, and we wanted to relive the experience. Once again, the food was fresh, flavorful, and fantastic.
What really surprised us was the unexpected birthday gesture from the restaurant. It wasn’t even like the complimentary dessert some places offer (which is already a lovely touch) - this was something much more thoughtful and meaningful. I won’t spoil it, but we were genuinely touched. It was explained to us as a cultural tradition, which made it feel even more special. So happy we chose to celebrate here. We’ll definitely be back!”

“For a temp locution they hit the mark. The breakfast bowl was yummy, although no toast was disappointing but not game ender.
They turned the anxiety inducing volume down on the music when asked which was 5/5.
The smoke from not having a proper vent fan was 1-5 for ambience (& now I smell like I have been deep fried for my flight) Another drink & it won’t matter…cheers!”
“Have visited this Nandos many times and most times have found it very busy. We either dine in or do take out. Doing a review for my recent visit on June 7 th . Decided to dine in with my partner. There was a long line up at the cash register and all the tables were occupied except for two that needed to be cleaned. The very long table was partly available. The manager helped us at the cash register. Friendly service, she did mention about the new feature the spring platter as well as signing up for points. I did download the app and joined up. We ordered two hand held - the chicken sandwich with one side and veggie with two sides - Peri fries and salad. We got a table soon and food arrived after 20 mins which is not bad considering how busy they were. A server did come and check on us half way through our meal to find out how was the food. The food is always top notch and that’s the reason we keep returning. Love this particular location as its ambience is very nice for dine in. I gave four stars for service as often I notice tables are not cleaned and dirty dishes not removed soon enough. I think more staffing could be added for on the floor service and keeping tables clean and available.
They did thank us when we left which is a huge plus !! Will continue visiting this place.”
“Food was FANTASTIC. I honestly expected nothing less of the place and it met my every expectation food-wise.
The service was alright, they do a device ordering style. Which can be confusing for some people so watch out for that, my family personally found it easy to navigate so we didn't have much trouble with it.
The only big complaint I had was the wait time. It was a weekend, however we were told that we'd be seated after 15 minutes, when reality was that we waited for A NEAR HOUR.
Oh well.
Still would come again! 😛”

“Food is too good. Highly recommended. I tried steam monos over here. They were far more better than all the restaurants around the town. I even recommend the store to open up in Surrey.”
