I suppose it was because the Taco Oasis shack was a first for me,beng used to restaurants, but those people know how to prepare the most tasty tacos I’ve ever eaten. They also add avocado no extra charge. Carne Asada Taco only $3.50 each. What a deal!“

“I have been here twice and the atmosphere and service is good but this review will highlight food allergies that i wish to communicate with the powers that be. I usually dine at restaurants with labeled menus since it lessens the questions I have for waitstaff and makes me more comfortable that the establishment is accustomed to sensitive customers like myself. Upon my most recent visit, I ordered the esquites salad marked with a V. V usually indicates vegan. Cojita cheese was listed in the salad so I asked the server if it was dairyfree cheese, she was unsure. I responded I eat dairy free and don’ t want cheese or any dairy. The salad came without cheese however judging from the after effects of eating the salad, I’m certain that the dressing has dairy. I strongly suggest there is key on the menu so customers are aware vegan vs vegetarian. Also waitstaff should be well aware what items are GF, DF, vegan, etc to limit dissatisfaction.“

I have no idea how anyone thinks that anyone here is rude- they are actually really cool as long as you're not a demanding fool!
The ticket times are fantastic even if they're slammed at the walk-up window or in the drive thru.

Maybe, years ago there were issues, but those have since been rectified.

Also, it's open 24 hours! Remember before COVID destroyed the restaurants, minds, souls, and enjoyment of everything whereas all became a ghost town and still is? This place stuck through and is still 24 hours.

A bit pricey but a better option than pizza if you ask me.

It's a relaxing option with shorter lines.

Service is good and served with a smile.

Not comparable to Tacos El Gordo or TJ Tacos by any means as it's lacking in all the extra ingredients but still very filling.

“Place was clean, A rating on door, staff were nice and helpful, always cleaning and busy not just standing around talking like other locations I have been too. Food was cooked right, not too salty or burned. We came here after Legoland so very angry and this pretty much filled us all up! Oh and careful, there are ducks in the residing parking lot.“

“This place is high quality. I got a chicken burrito and added fajitas and guacamole. So good. Chicken was breast as well, not dark meat. That is not common among Mexican restaurants, typically you’ll get thighs so this was a great surprise. Chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly, not too salty and not bland. Burrito wasn’t even greasy either which is nice, there were maybe a few drops of grease in the paper the burrito came wrapped in.

Salsa bar is great, good selection. Verde and Habanero did not disappoint. Habanero was spicy yet still kept the flavor.

I would totally come here again.“

“Ordered a large lunch order for a meeting and there were definite modifications to some of the items.

Everything was prepared as ordered, it was ready by my pick up time while still timely - I arrived about 5 mins prior to the designated time and it was not sitting there getting cold or mushy, rather it was ready briefly after I arrived.

Everyone was friendly and offered their assistance rather than me having to ask.

And the food was great! Everything well prepared, nothing over or undercooked. Everyone ate their entire meal and there were no left overs.

“We wanted some good Mexican food after Legoland and found this hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and hot. The cashier was very nice and welcoming. My kids loved their food which is a plus for me. I had the carne asada nachos. The chips were nice and crispy, plenty of toppings, and generous on the meat. The horchata was awesome. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Oceanside.“
