“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

We ate on the rooftop area but inside looked cute too. Server was nice and available but manager Tony went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was tasty annd yummy ice cream for bday surprise. “Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.“

“Red & Louie’s makes one of the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had — simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. The crust was spot-on, the sauce had just the right balance, and the cheese was gooey perfection. I also tried their craft soda and loved it — super refreshing and a nice change from the usual. Great spot in Hermosa Beach. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This is one of our favorite spots in the south bay! We love it so much we actually had our wedding reception at the rooftop. Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. As for food - die for tortillas and decadent Chimichangas!“

“I really enjoy the Hermosa Beach Offset location. They have a friendly staff and the outdoor area is nice and quaint. Although the space inside is small and can get crowded it doesn’t take away from the experience in my opinion. I found myself today trying their new seasonal Maple Cinnamon Latte. It was very delicious and my dog and I sat outside to enjoy the wonderful coastal breeze.

I find that people often stumble along the location making it difficult to get your order in time but have patience. The neighborhood is dealing with losing 3 Starbucks in the area and tend to not do well with change (creatures of habits 🧟‍♀️).

Beside this pain of slow people. The coffee is great, the staff is great, and the bench’s outside make it quite comfortable to sit and do a quick tech detox for a moment. If not, walk down to the pier it’s only like 2 minutes down the street.

“I was pretty lucky I got to be the first customer but I get to come here only once a month so it’s a big treat for me store is very clean everybody was very friendly and welcoming I only get to eat food like this once a month as mentioned earlier but I absolutely love the number one with fries and that’s gonna be up to 1100 cal so if you’re watching your weight you need to be prepared to make this an all day experience. I love the pepper bar… I’ve always like pepperscini with my french fries but I can only have that every so often lol they have outdoor seating that’s heated they have a fountain filled with wonderful drinks and they’re open until 10 PM Monday through Sunday!“

“Vista is a magical place. We are East Coasters who visit Manhattan Beach for a month every winter. There are few things we love better than strolling down to Vista and watching the sunset on the deck. The staff are friendly and genuine. And the food is excellent. We love the grilled watermelon salad with burrata and the calamari fries, among other things.“

Kristina and I come here at least 3 times a week, and for good reason! Hennessey's Tavern is hands down our favorite spot in Hermosa Beach. You absolutely cannot beat their weekend deal—a whole bottle of champagne with OJ for just $20 until 5 PM. It's the perfect setup for a weekend day by the beach. The food is also fantastic; we always crave their delicious poke and burgers. Add in the perfect ocean views and the absolute best sunsets in town, and it’s easy to see why we are regulars. Highly recommend!“
